I was in the same boat, but much to my surprise they did indeed removed ALL the wobble. The cross-bolts are a lot thicker than the one that comes with the clone rails. Although I initially didn't think it was going to work, they did fit very snuggly into the gap on the barrel nut. Would also recommend using some kind of lubricant to prevent any sheering as it is a pretty tight fit.

Anyone had any experiences [good or bad] buying direct from ruten.com.tw? Found a TR-25 Accupoint scope [clone] from modelworks615, but hesitant to sink that much money as never used them or that platform before 😕Still, a ton cheaper than a real one!

As far as optics go, never waste your time with repro optics.  Get a holosun or vortex optic.  Once you do it you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner, especially when you're talking about low power variables...

The vortex strike eagle is excellent for the money and has a lifetime warranty.  It's about €300 or so.

I ended up ordering this one:

    https://gpairsoft-uk.com/shop/en/53289-gp-dd-mk18-front-set-for-marui-mws-m4a1-gbb-black-gp-mws014a.html

it’s good quality and fits well, but the flash hider thread is 14mm clockwise (not counter clockwise like everything else) So your choice of flash hiders is limited or you need to get a converter.

Good choice, don't buy crap from AliExpress if you respect your self 😅

what sight and magnifier is that? It looks really nice, much more compact than my vortex setup.

If you zoom in the picture you can see it's the vortex sparc ar red dot and the vortex micro 3x magnifier.

88 pages, that was a loooooong read!

Sounds like a worthwhile buy(eyes set on the CQBR version), however, for a £500 pound gun, it seems disheartening that the magazines require modification in order to get through a full mag of BBs. Which seems to pop up as an issue every few pages or so for quite a few users.

Is it linked to propellant used?

My selection would be a choice of Nuprol gases, if that helps.

The problem is most people don't understand how to correctly fill TM mags.  They expel air as you fill with propane to get rid of any air pockets.  People think there's an issue with the fill valve and don't keep filling until liquid propane spits out of the filler.  People not getting through 30 rounds simply haven't filled the mag enough.  The green gas mod is optional and yields higher gas capacity in turn also increasing magazine pressure which will bump up the fps a little as well.  There's no need to do the green gas mod, however there's really no reason NOT to do it too.  It only gives you better performance over all.

Also not cheap, but Esstac KYWI pouches are incredible. Piece of piss to get mags in and out but you can turn the pouch upside down, shake it about and never lose a magazine.

My esstac KYWI are very easy to use, not hard to draw or insert at all.

Got a GBP conversion on that price?

also 3 more mags to do the green gas mod on tonight.

Just enter the denominations into Google for instant conversion

There is. My mate has a 3D printed mws Odin style speed loader

We don't need a whole speed loader.  Just an adaptor to click into the existing one.  Check the link I posted earlier.

The one with the flip-out loading head? I shake between every plunge because the bbs seem to get themselves stuck inside the mechanism. Does way better than the Kwa one I tried.  People talk about the Odin speedloader, maybe give it a try?

The Odin is for AEG mags LMAO

Sorry to hear thats happened to your nozzle. Managed to somewhat replicate your problem by unscrewing the hex screw fully. If you still have the hex screw it does go back in fine, and mine doesn't seem to loose adjustment. Maybe adding a touch of blue loctite or a wrap of PFTE tape to make the hex screw secure might help, but honestly, given the design, it will make itself loose over time unless you adjust once and leave it. It's a shame your having issues with yours. I'm gonna skirmish it again one more time and see if the problems I had before pop up again, before deciding whether to go back to the stock nozzle + NPAS.

I'm still having hop issues with my MWS, it's really strange, the hop up effect just disappears after a few rounds on the specific setting I need it to hop 0.3g BBs, turn the hop up more to considerably overhop them and the hop up doesn't lose its setting / effect at all.

Worth noting that on the hop up setting where I lose all hop after a few rounds, it doesn't unclick itself or anything, I counted how many clicks it takes me to get there from 0 (10 clicks), fired a few rounds (with a considerable gap inbetween shots) until I lost hop, then counted back the clicks to zero hop, exactly 10.

Took apart both the hop unit and hop adjuster, zero signs of wear, damage or loss of parts. The internal clicking wheel on the hop up adjuster looks pristine. This started occuring after I installed the AngryGun nozzle but now its occuring on the stock nozzle too, checking the gun through the chrono, I'm not losing any FPS outside of standard deviations after firing quite a few rounds even when the hop is gone.

Honestly clueless as to what to do now., might consider getting the AngryGun Adjuster but to be frank I don't think that will solve the issue. I'm using the SixG nub and I am going between the Stock TM bucking and the Modify Tan, both have the exact same issue. Also using BLS 0.3g BBs (non-bio).

Have you tried using other weights of BBs or different brands ?  It's possible the actual BBs may be inconsistent

Years of frustration with my KC02 had me acquiring a second hand MWS. The enthusiasm spread in this 83 page document is to blame. A fantastic piece - although a tad too heavy mags.

Some questions I can’t find answers to:

    # I can’t put my rifle into safety unless it is cocked and ready - is that normal or a flaw from the trigger installation of the previous owner? If normal - is this also the behavior of the real m4?

    # Does someone have the actual weight of the MTR-magazines? Im getting all sorts of different info on different sites. One states that they are heavier ( 600 g ) than the standard mags ( 450 g ) - I’m trying to find a way to lighten the load. Might try the gen 2 pmags although I have heard mixed opinions about them.

The safety works exactly as a real steel AR does.  Time to hit the gym if the mags weigh too much 😅

Buffer tube is commercial size which is slightly smaller than mil spec, stock will fit with a bit of wobble. Unless you shim the buffer tube with a bit of tape.

This is not true.  The stock is milspec.  I installed a Magpul MOE adjustable stock and has zero wobble or need to shim.  Upgraded the buffer tube to the angry gun milspec sized one also and stock has same fitment.

  12. Increased power and more gas capacity?  Sounds like a win win to me.  Just don't cut the tube TOO short,  you'll get a lot of liquid coming out of the nozzle.

Leave the outer tube about 5-6mm above the actual fill tube on the valve.

    Wait............ there's 416 kits available?

In fact wait...... there's 3rd party bodies for these that are available without having to sell a kidney?

Yeah there's actually probably the most kits available out of any platform.  The kits cost more than twice the amount of the base gun with no internals at all.  So yeah a kidney is required.
