Ladies & Gents, as it has been suggested by several people and requested several times recently, I have decided to create a new Quick Questions thread.

We have two threads previously like this, but I've decided to make a new one with a little more structure.

When you ask a question please do so using red writing that way, it's easy for people scrolling down to find a question.

When you answer a question, please quote (this will make sure the person gets a notification and they can click on it to open your answer straight away and it also lets people answer questions from a while ago if there have been new questions since then) the question and reply in blue writing so we know it's an answer. If you feel a question simply cannot be answered in one brief post, or is open for a lot of debate, create a thread to discuss it, and link the thread in your answer so everyone can find it.

This should keep it clear what's what. Thread will be periodically preened and cleaned, and I may, if the whim takes me, create a section in this post with all the questions and the best answers in expandable boxes so everyone can see them forever and ever and ever.

If your question or answer don't follow the requested template, I will either fix them if I like you, or delete them if I don't because no-one should have any difficulty getting it right after the first couple of attempts.

Here's an example of how I want this to look:

Hi everyone, what am best gnu?

At the moment I'm listening to my dog sleep-barking (possibly at dream-squirrels, he was recently traumatised by the discovery that when chasing squirrels that not only are they nippy little buggers, they can also go up trees which is totally unfair and was entirely unexpected).

Music wise, I've been getting into Elvis again. The king might be dead, but he'll never die.

Today I bought a bag of crisps, a whispa and an orange flavoured hot chocolate on my way home from Uni (back to Lincolnshire to see the misses). I also purchased a steak bake and a chicken bake from Greggs.

    All were yummy.

N.b. Before anyone says it. Yes. All I ever buy, is food.

As some of you know, I have recently come into ownership of a small dog. This dog is a highly trained killing machine and will protect me against any and all dangers with his claws of steel, teeth of more-steel and stare of deadly badassness.

He is fully equipped with cunning and deceptive tactics designed to lull my enemies into a false sense of security before swiftly and mercilessly dispatching them. He is also working on a rather lovely white and tan colour scheme which I believe will result in him looking a bit like DDPM, making him even more adept in arid/desert environments, which is fortunate because I live in Essex, known for it's long dry summers and expansive arid deserts.

He is Oscar, the bringer of death.

This is his recruitment mug-shot, notice the stare. You see that stare, you know this dog means business, you know that he could f**k your s**t up HARD:

Next up, an action shot, notice how Oscar blends in perfectly with his brothers and sisters, invisible to the untrained eye:

And finally, another shot of Oscar in action, I warn you all, this photograph is brutally graphic. Look in in awe as you witness my attack-dog savaging my girlfriend to death with cold and calculating cruelty:

    Seriously though guys.

I'm re-starting after a long hiatus and I'm somewhat limited on what guns I can consider. If I had free-reign to choose whatever I wanted, the G&G CM series would be up there.

They're solid, dependable, easily repaired (maybe not by yourselves - that depends on your own knowledge, but certainly they're highly compatible with aftermarket parts and they've got no really weird oddities internally), can take lots of customisation and upgrades etc. and they're pretty much brilliant.

Next up I've got the GW-addicts staple, Space Marines, pretty much everyone I know who has ever been into GW has used them, I never got sick of their all-round winability and stuck it out. Besides, mine are Black Templars so they're better anyway, all the other chapters are sissies and heretics.

-Couple of photos of my Sternguard, the middle guy changing his mag is a mashup of kits, but the actual mag change I had to put together myself:

-Vindicator, probably the most awesome looking tank in the game:

    -Terminator Chaplain:

    -Jump Chaplain:

-Tech Marine & Servitor (The CAT objective marker from the previous release of Spacehulk - too cool to not use for something):

-Assault Terminators & Marshall/Chapter Master in Terminator Armour, made from several kits:

-One of the limited edition captains released this year:

    -The other limited edition captain:

Couple of random GW heroes, both dusty due to being on a shelf rather than in my display cabinet for a while:

    -Assault On Black Reach Warboss:

    -Illuminor Szeras:

We had one of those. I didn't like it because we don't single people out when all they're trying to do is learn, because that isn't fair. Now we don't have that thread any more.

We were all new to airsoft once, we all wanted to know everything right away, and I welcome anyone who is so enthusiastic that their thirst for knowledge is literally bursting out and they're owning up to their ignorance and asking questions instead of just bumbling along, people like that are the future of our sport and often turn out to be formidable opponents.

To stop being classed as a noob, you have to show respect to other noobs who are trying to learn the things you probably didn't know yourself once upon a time, and you have to accept that when someone is asking their quick questions and is looking for simple answers, in my Quick Questions & Simple Answers thread, they have every right to do so, only then, grasshopper, are no longer a noob.

    Thread cleaned.

So now, a year and a half on, I've decided we need to update this.

The past year has been filled with dog-related ups and down. He's eaten about £2000 worth of household items, from designer glasses to headphones to coats and more and has truly lived up to his name. On the other hand however, he's my best friend and has turned out to be a truly lovely member of the family.

Those of you who have me as a friend on facebook will no doubt be borderline-suicidal as a result of the sheer volume of dog-related posts I create on a daily basis. Those of you who do not, have missed out.

Luckily for you unfortunate lot though, I have an updated, albeit graphic photo of The Destroyer for you. He's a bit bigger this time around.

I warn you, the below photo contains graphic imagery of Oscar mercilessly crushing my mother to death after she refused to get off the chair for him.

I should also note, that when we were given him, we were told he shouldn't be much more than a small-medium dog, this small-medium dog now weighs almost as much as my fiance (about 50kg).

    Small dog much?
