    I'm at my wits' end with my 1911. Solved the issue with it cycling, but now it only fires maybe 5 shots before running totally out of gas on a full fill. I know the mags are small, but they're not THAT small!

      Try a flush...

      Apply gas in normal orientation but hold the vent valve while filling for a couple of seconds.

      Then fill as normal.
