the title mentioned first mag, does it happen regardless of which mags are used?

yes regardless of the mag used issue occurs

If you're using midcaps, it's probably midcap syndrome, the pressure of a fully loaded mag pushes the nozzle up results in lower FPS for the first few shots per mag.

Either break in the springs on the mag or fill them a little less.

    will test this out.

  2. Got a Specna Arms Specna Arms SA-E12 EDGE which is stock apart from a prometheus purple bucking. Running a 7.4v lipo.

The first shots out of it are really low fps but then it stablises to be pretty consistent between 280-290 which is still a little low really.

Any one have any ideas' what could be causing this behaviour? The barrel is cleaned after every game day.

The simplest answer is to just get what already exists for the task, and will probably also be cheaper than making an alternative with PVC pipe

I did consider this device but wasn't surehow it worked. Does it funnel them in to the back pole to drop out or would the roll down the bottom lip?

What a guy a video to follow as well!

  4. I seem to be asked to fix more and more guns recently the more of my friends get in to the hobby and I'm looking for a more permanent solution to prevent bbs rolling around my floor. I don't have a good creative imagination but I was thinking UPVC pipe or something?

Does anyone have any reference pictures or ideas for such a device?

    Cheers.

Careful, the op might get upset you called him a child

Put on ignore I have no time for someone with the same dull patter. You are just trying to start an argument for no reason on the internet. I just asked if you could keep it civil and not resort to name calling. Not because I care what you say about me but just to keep the thread from getting locked.

    All the best.

  6. 8 minutes ago, Cannonfodder said:

That would've been the mature thing to do.

Yes and admitting I should of done that and taking my deserved lumps is clearly not satisfying yourself.

The fact that you put the both option in the poll says otherwise.

I put both in the poll as I was curious if people thought there was fault/blame on both sides of the dispute but if people are voting that way I have no control over what people think on the internet. I could of added an option for "seller" but I wasn't trying to make a witch hunt or have any other tin foil hat motive than a bit of fun.

What you mean is, your not prepared to accept an opinion that differs from your own, even though Skullchewers is 100% valid

I just don't see the point in expending the energy when I know I didn't create the thread to try to attack the seller. I have now on multiple occasions admitted fault for using the feedback system the way I did. I have just asked people to keep it civil in the discussion. I do not consider the seller to be an ass hole but I do believe his advertisement and selling practices are not upfront and that is my opinion. When he returned feedback to me I thought why bother going to the admins privately when I can give the forum some chuckles at our expense.

There has been opinions on both sides but I do see a theme that I should of just walked away from the sale when I wasn't happy with it.

    Not up to me sorry.

     Now you're just talking bollocks.

"I am not inferring that Quango2k is an ass hole"

By the poll alone you did so, and you know you did.

"have never gone out of my way to attack or defame them. "

    What's this thread then?

You're trying to act like this is all an innocent misunderstanding, and getting salty because the poll/thread clearly hasn't gone the way you hoped.

It is clearly inferred by the thread, poll, and the feedback you left that you believe the seller to be the asshole in the situation.

I'd call it quits here, you think you're arguing your way out of it but you're just embarrassing yourself.

Go ahead and put me on ignore if it makes you feel better.

This is your opinion and just like ass holes everybody has one pal. I'm done arguing with you.

You're right that nobody is being forced to read this, but you can't make a tgread like this then get upset when you don't get the replies you want.

I said you're acting like a spoilt child so if you find that insulting you really need to grow a thicker skin, and if you want to be treated like an adult then act like one.

I'm not upset but if you can't be civil then I will just put you on ignore. I made a thread on the internet that lets people vote that I am being an ass hole so I think I have thick enough skin. I have said I went too far leaving the feedback and that I had misunderstood the system yet you are insisting I am not acting like an adult i.e again calling me a child. Jedi already mentioned there shouldn't be any personal attacks I assume he means against any one.

If you start a thread inferring that someone else is an asshole you can't really get on a high horse about name calling.

I am not inferring that Quango2k is an ass hole and have never said anything bad about them and have only asked people to judge the situation. I put a spicy internet title on the thread but have never gone out of my way to attack or defame them. The pole has an option that either says I am an ass hole, I am not or both of us are(which still implicates me).

I had this option this morning of sending a ticket to the admins or giving everyone a spectacle and given the discussion some folk have enjoyed some light drama. However if people just start flinging shit at each other the admins won't let the show go on and name calling is how the avalanche starts.

So of all the payment options. You wanted Paypal and got pissy because you didn't want to pay for the protection?

The item has now sold. So i guess he didn't need your money huh?

This is your second reply to this post yet you haven't even got the facts straight sir. I never insisted on any payment method it was the seller who asked for it via paypal including fees after I had agreed to pay the £30 for it as advertised. It had shown as sold before I even messaged him saying I would pay £30 so I was surprsied when he got back to me. I then asked him for a paypal invoice at £30 as advertised which isn't an unreasonable request and is recommended by AFUK.

    37 minutes ago, Cannonfodder said:

While to me springing the fees on you was a bit if an arsehole thing to do. However, you could've chosen to simply walk away from the deal but instead decided to act like a spoilt child and create unnecessary drama by first leaving negative feedback then starting this thread.

There is no guidlines on feedback being for completed transactions so I left my constructive feedback on my interaction with the seller. I wasn't insulting or offensive or calling him a scammer or swindler. I have said admins can remove the negative feedback as it does seem to be the consensus here that the feedback should be for completed sales so I am not trying to abuse the system.

I started the thead to give everyone a giggle and if you don't like I'm not forcing you to read it so please avoid calling me names as we are all adults here.

And this guy had entirely good feedback until Musica complained about something he didn't buy

All his good feedback doesn't negate any bad feedback. It seems the opinion on here is the feedback section should only be used for sales that went through as apposed to rating the seller (or buyer) so I've said my bad on that and offered for admins to remove it but I stand by  what my feedback says. He sprung the fees on me after I agreed to the £30 advertised price so long as he posted it resonably quickly so I could have it by the 10th of April. Just feels like negotiating in bad faith to me so I wasn't wanting involved and I don't know why but him mentioning he had another buyer ready to pay didn't sit right with me either.

    43 minutes ago, Tackle said:

Question to @quango2k, has it sold ?, did you have another buyer also trying to buy the item at the same time as @Musica, as he's inferring ?

Don't know why you think I am inferring anything it's what HE told me.

leaving feedback on a sale that didn't go through? - sorry but that's an asshole move

Yeah perhaps that is where I went too 🙈.  If I can remove this or an admin can I'm happy for it.

His response however calling me names and saying I don't understand how paypal works seemed enough drama to give you guys a laugh 😂. His statements are false I never feel I demanded an invoice off him I just told him if he wanted me to buy the item I will pay an invoice for it at £30. I went and purchased a brand new item for £50 as it's not the money that I cared about it's the princple.

  13. Morning folks,

I was going to buy something of another forum user but the deal has turned sour and I am curious on people's opinions on the matter. Perhaps I'm in the wrong or maybe we are both at fault you can decide!

    Here is the listing

I first sent an offer for £28 as if you don't ask you don't get. It was rejected which is fair enough that's the point of an offer. I then started a DM with the seller offering to pay the price adverised see below:

    fSJBfqf.png

So I left him negative feedback for negotating in bad faith given he has another buyer ready to pay him and he is breaking paypals user agreement by surcharging me the fees.

    image.thumb.png.46115d62bd53f00b69e1ca51f4e1fd24.png

So he has left me feedback this morning as a tit for tat type thing.

    image.thumb.png.ae7e505db2a980c573dfe8a88332984e.png

I am not sure how he knows about my big feet! So you guys have all the interactions so you can now judge am being unresoanble here ? Hope you enjoyed a bit of light drama.

The rif is £300 new from anywhere that actually has it in stock, high-pressure advertise £250 but that's plus vat....so £300. There are 4 extra mags with it, generally £40 each, so that's an extra £160, plus the extra 2 things, let's call that £20 plus postage, c £10 (if you can find it all in stock from one retailer) = £490.

If you can find them in stock.

Tm mp7s seem to hold onto their value better than most rifs, so the 70% rule/guidance isn't accurate for them. So if you apply an 80% figure (which I agree is high for second hand, but I've seen it happen for tm mp7s loads) then you're around £400......

My mate owns one and hasn't paid more than £35 per mag but I guess you do have to wait for stock.

I don't disagree it probably would sell for 80% but I would just buy a new one myself at that point as you are taking risks second hand.

  15. 3 hours ago, Emergencychimps said:

Tm Mp7s and mags seem to retain their value better than most. If it was mine I'd list it (none of the optional extras) for £425 all in and then consider offers around £400

As someone looking to buy a TM MP7 GBB and 4 mags I wouldn't pay £400 for a used one......

I could get all that for £440 brand new.....

  16. I use nuprol red or abbey orange on my hi-capa dor in the winter but I chrono it on the day and up or lower the gas to keep it close to 300fps. If I shot 310fps or higher I would vent my mags and use the lower powered gas.

I play mostly indoors so likely slightly warmer than outside but not much and I run the pistol as a primary often.

    That I know of.

Under at morning chrono, or under when tested in play?  I've never seen them test anyone during the day, and given the way morning chrono was run today, I'd wonder if even in-game chrono would be done with site 0.2g rather than taking their word on what they're shooting.  I mention this because I spotted some grey BBs on the floor and I've only ever seen those in heavier weighs than the 0.25g limit.

Eh, it was an OK day, I maybe just need to get my fitness level up and dump some of the pointless gear.  I've become everything I mocked. :D

Under when tested in play and good point about bb weight I can't imagine they are putting  any in their mags. After I had spoke to the head marshall I did see a guy out with the chrono testing. Really should have the chrono in the hands of someone who understands how the guns work. I know the Depot tourney lock the HPA users I don't really know what that does but suspect it's to avoid this type of speculation.
