Tempting but I can't in good conscious buy accessories before I get a second gun and my 3 bottles of .20g blaster bbs won't get used then.

Going to get a few bits and bobs for my bday in May but otherwise I'm saving up for AEG #2 Was tempted to get GBBP but with the new TM hicapa around the corner I will wait for it. 

Would a 2nd AEG get used if you're rocking an Evo?  I keep buying AEGs, but they're all cheapos and about as good as each other, i.e. basically usable but with slow trigger response.

Evo + GBB pistol is probably ideal for the Depot.  It's what Ryan Silver Fox uses.

I'm paranoid it will stop working and I'l be left with just a pistol in an outdoor game crying like a pleb. 

Plus I'm holding out for http://impulse101.jp/en/gbb/tokyo-marui-hi-capa-dor-direct-optics-ready-gbb-4319 so I could be waiting a while to get that with just a single base TRMR to fall back on.  

Might be an idea for me to get my ass to section 8 to see if I even like outdoor games before buying a second AEG.

I don't think being arsey about it and bugging them will get me any decent good will on a discount I certainly wouldn't go out my way to help someone who doesn't wait their turn. Kicking up a stink less than 24 hours after they had it delivered seems silly.

Who said you need to be arsey? Simply acquiring whether they received it and asking for a timeline on fix/inspection to me, as a paying customer is more than exceptable.

Interesting idea to mount upside down  would aid in deployment for sure

with the flap over its fine, but it drops when the flap is undone. the base of the pouch is elastic and the lid length can be set so it holds it well. Yet to loose one when carrying like this and thats been my fairly standard set up for at least 2 years

liking it but can only find double or triple pouches. Maybe I just need a second trmr...........

I messaged the guy, and he is making it right. I'm just going to order a Novrich mag, as they seem pretty good.

@Impulse do you know what the difference is between the 1 screw and 3 screw Hadron TDC?

@Musica The 3 screw allows you to correct if it's arcing to the side as well. It's basically just the 1 screw version with two extra screws. I use mine just like a 1 screw, but it's nice to have options just in case!

@TheFull9 interesting I get black gunk of my rails every time I clean them post game day and it's a TM hi-capa stock slide. 

Could be impurities in the gas or dirt in the environment.  GBBs don't inherently create substantial fouling inside themselves when shot the way firearms do.  I mean heck maybe the TM plastic wears away just a tiny bit every game and that accumulates, who knows, I'd suspect the gas or environment first though.

The black is the pot metal the TM frame is made of slowly wearing away.

I do a basic clean of my pistol after every day / outing / event.

Thats if its a clean day, if its wet or muddy then during the day - its amazing the state they get in after a couple of hours, especially if you have trenches!

UK sellers are available.  I link to that package for an example, as it contains batteries, a charger and the remote switch.

It's intended as a pistol torch (and works well on a G17) but is also nice and compact on an AEG.  It's surprisingly bright as it runs at 7.4V - I judge my torches on the number of "Fook's sake, mate!" protests, and that produces plenty of them.

I'm looking at S8 for the 12th so could be June till I'm back at Depot also that's old firm day so finding people who aren't busy to play with is getting tough bloody football!

I prefer the form factor for sure of that small one but the laser puts me off. Guess I just need to realise I already knew what I wanted and was checking if there was anything similar or better for the money or less.

Dirty magazine tracks 

All 3 magazines emptied today no issues. 

I start the stack on the right and make sure the follow is on the bottom left bb. Duno if it makes a difference but I like consistency 

if in doubt just shoot them, if they complain about freindly fire just point out that you couldn't identify their team.

it's the hubris you should expect for not being identifiable to your team, and freindly fire is very much part of airsoft mainly because how do you know it ain't freindly?

They do, depending on the site. I play at six different sites normally.
There's only one out of those where Ghillies don't get taped/banded.
At that site, all snipers are shown at the start and made known to all players. There is the understanding that you will probably shoot your own snipers at some point. nowt wrong with that as far as I can see - and all the players are fine with it.
The team that runs the site are working on the logic - what's the point of a ghillie suit if you're wearing a neon arm band...

p.s. If the rule is that annoying to you, get yourself a ghillie - there's nothing to say what weapon you have to use with it 😄 

Are you putting it in a carbine kit as well?

Other than the usual hop rubber and TDC, if you're putting it inside a carbine kit all you need is a longer barrel, say 200 to 250mm long, wouldn't go over that tbf because the mk23, as it is, already achieves silly performance and in my experience, barrels over 250/300mm long give more issues than benefits.

Yes going to print a carbine kit for it with my 3d printer.

'Abbey 144a Maintenance Gas' (£6) for storing in gas mags when not in use. Saves the seals from drying out. I swear by it after leaving all sorts of other gases inside for weeks. Eventually they've given out across all manner of gas mags......but not since I've been using the 144aMG after every game.

I regularly call "hits" on myself despite not feeling them when someone opens fire at a range where they should have hit me. 

They're not going to believe that they missed / misfired, and I can't effect that.  All I can do is ensure that at least one of us is happy.

Magic trick: mag out, slide back, barrel in mouth and blow.

The mags taper and the bit that holds on to it doesnt really get to the flat part 

I've cut a gap on the botton for the feed lips on one of them it seems much better. It's the taper on the hi-capa /2011 magazies work against the retention method of the kydex but if you can get the mag far enough down then it can grip the flat sides on the magazine.

No beer for me. Kinda wish I didn't have this case anymore but as long as it doesnt  mean any extra set up than the standard batteries on fun day it's not like it cost a lot for a high level of protection. Really puts me off getting another case as every accessory, scope grip , light and even sling required modification not sure how the egg shell cases work with these accessories and taking them on and off is hassle. 

I have cut all sorts of shapes out of mine to get the accessories inside it too  

Going to buy another evo bag for my MP7 and get a mate to attach clips and a shoulder strap so I can carry them both together easily. 

I just bung all my rif's into a dirty great pelicase, but I do need to get round to cutting out the foam to secure them better. 

I went with green as pretty much everyone is black or tan at my place so I should be able to spot my bag easily. To be fair the yellow is also yellow in the inside so you can find all your gear easily against the contrast damn wish I'd have noticed that. Also if you are stopped and searched for some reason I don't think they can claim you were trying to conceal a bright yellow bag 😁

That's a fair point, as regards identifying your own kit. I picked up a teal gun case this year for similar reasons.

That is a great deal, but I'm sticking with my wheeled trolley case so that I can kid myself about how much excess junk I've stuffed in there.

They would of for free replaced the gears with original gears but I am buying upgraded gears at RRP and they are fitting them instead. Keeps my warranty intact. If I installed them would of void my warranty. 

Takes the total cost of my EVO up to £369.98 which if I could of ordered with the the better gears for this price in the first place I would have. 

Ouch.  But it seems a case of needing it sooner or later, and this is the best way to do it.

Better to get it done for the cost of the parts and keep my warranty but not be worried about the gears going again. It was a bug bear I knew about before buying it so if anything I was lucky I didn't have it happen in a game and that I can get the upgrade without shipping/labor costs as I knew it would need it eventually I was just hoping I would be one of the lucky ones that lasted a year. 

I imagine they will fit the parts tomorrow and ship it so it should arrive for Friday as it was quick delivery first time. They said they will do it ASAP and call me when it's ready to ship. I will give them till lunch time tomorrow to contact me again as the have agreed to pack it better for shipping it this time as that box it came in was holding on for dear life.

Might  give me the confidence to not bother with a second AEG as a backup.

Oh, I just love how they hide the events listing on the players page.  And why oh why don't sites just list all the info that prospective players will actually need, rather than having to keep repeating it over and over to everyone who has to ask?
