It's a bot, its literally a script driven by a computer - all these messages to these things are literally talking to a wall.

Mmm, there's quite a jump in price between .32 and .36, I'm still too cheap to make the leap.  If you splash the cash, it would be great to get an airsoft-metres estimate of how much more effective range you see from them.

    Thanks for the motivation lads
One of the chaps that I play & marshal with regularly is a good ten years older than me and is going through the same thing as I am, he has the sensor in his arm and the app on his phone, whereas I am doing it the old fashioned way of pricking my finger for tests
I am looking upon this as a warning to me and a blip on my health, ok I will have to inject on a daily basis, in fact probably 4 times a day
but the progress I have since Friday has apparently been very good.
I will get a proper education tomorrow at hospital 👍🤞

    Sorry to hear.
At least now you'll feel better with treatment.
Its a PITA but can be managed much better nowadays.
Hopefully there will be a breakthrough in medical research.

To try and give you ‘a light at the end of the tunnel’ a team mate(and definitely a best friend to have) has been T1 for over 30yrs and he used to be very poorly in health a, but now you wouldn’t know it to look at him , he was on BM checks and syringes and on a game day it used to go up and down like a nuns knickers in the Vatican ! He’d be hyper one minute and hypo the next ! 🤦‍♂️Then he had a pump fitted about 2yrs ago and it totally changed his life . Everyone says now he looks 10yrs younger AND acts it(Me personally I recon he acts more like 50yrs younger no just 10 !😂) any hoo he’s got the pump on his side a small censer on his Arm that he just swears his phone over and via an app it automatically programs the pump for him .
I know it’s easy for me to say but it’ll only change your life if you let . 👍👍

    Thanks SD
I guess that years in the motor trade making me not eat breakfast or lunch for the last 15 years, and going home dizzy and light headed wasn’t just hunger 🙄

My thirst was unquenchable ( is that a word) and obviously it all has to come out again, so was up 4-5 times a night for a wee.

Since my diagnosis on Friday, I have managed to get some decent sleep for a change! Waiting to get blood results tomorrow at hospital, and my first prescription which by the sound of it I need a fucking transit van to collect due to the amount of “supplies” they have prescribed 😂

As you say, really time to concentrate on what I eat and being regular with it time wise.

    onwards and upwards
Orange juice & jelly babies are secured & stashed 😉👍

Soz to hear that sir, my 24yr old daughter has T1, diagnosed two years ago...
Not much fun, watching what you eat, pasta is a carb that fucks up your levels for the next day & the nightly lantus shot etc...

She was hoping she might be mody than T1 but apparently not
(instead she's just fucking moody at times
well think anybody wouldn't be delighted to find they're diabetic)

PITA, but can lead a normal life - just gotta take more care of yourself, eat, exercise etc... jelly babies/orange juice to hand etc...

At least you know now & might explain why you was always tired/thirsty or other symptons you may have had for a while

Best wishes in you learning to manage your levels & adjusting your life a little so this condition doesn't hold you back

    ATB btw

Same general advice as pretty much everything else in the hobby, if you want something then get it. If folks don't like it, that's their problem.

Most things that get a bad reputation do so due to misuse rather than there actually being an issue with the product. Using something doesn't make you a dickhead, being a dickhead makes you a dickhead.
