So this is what about £600 in a Glock build gets you. Which I don't feel great about but hey, kinda past the point of no return, so just gonna have fun with it.

Lockdown boredom has finally got to me. Used my box of spare parts (plus the spare parts from some other Glock fans on this forum) to build up two extra Glocks. I still have parts to build a third extra Glock 17 with a P80 base. 

No more airsoft until December it seems, and my parcel from HK just arrived allowing me to bling up my p226 with a suppressor and light

Isn't it lovely when your gun shoots lasers until you hit the field, then shots go everywhere but where you aim.
 
Nonetheless it got me a couple of otherwise impossible hits

I fucking love when your gun is fucking spot on at home (even after fucking extensive testing), but then on the field it does whatever the fuck it wants.

always gotta make a new challenge, now it's trying to extract consistent fps from a gbb.....

When you Chrono your gun and your bb starts flying around the room and you have to call your hits on yourself. 😂

Picked up an Action Army T11 recently, thought I'd give a a paint job to cover up the boring old black. 👌 

The company I've been interviewing with for the past month or so offered me the job today - I replied with a counter offer and they accepted.
Possibly my second thought on the matter was.. 'I may well now be able to afford an LCT G3A3'...  at least without wincing that is.

Put an advert for my am009 on the team's WhatsApp chat with a stupid high price for it (€150).

Feels good to finally spend a day involved with Airsoft. I'd actually missed the lower back pain and overall exhaustion.
 
I didn't actually skirmish but have spent half the day sweeping up the BB's at the end of my garden! 

As I am unable to airsoft, I might as well scratch that itch by writing even more. This time I go into whether you should go for budget or premium for a few things: eye protection, RIFs and tactical gear.
 
Spoiler alert: I like premium... *looks at all the TM RIFs and Warrior Assault Systems gear...*

As I can't play airsoft right now, I might as well write about it... This time I share my thoughts on load bearing gear in airsoft, as I see people asking if they should use a chest rig or plate carrier all the time.
 
I think load bearing equipment is very important, both from a practicality perspective and an aesthetic one. After all, airsoft is also very much about the dress up!

Day 8 of lock down and i have to say I am (sort of) getting things done. 
I have finally got my striker working to full capacity again and I am starting to consider sanding/sand blowing the outer barrel to create a "Silver Sable" kind of gun. Although I haven't been able to use it yet I am liking the British Army belt rig and it is a lot more comfortable than jerry rigged pile of trash that I was using before. Also who ever designed the detachable out barrel on the Ares M-45 is quite possibly insane, I needed another 3 pairs of hands just to put it all back together again!
Sorry for all the ramblings but I have done all my jobs and now I am board🙃

I decided to write this out. I know that this might be an unpopular stance, but I'm not going to change my opinions just because it's unpopular. Airsoft sniping has definitely become more widespread and accessible since I started the hobby, that's for sure, but I'm not sure if I like that or not.

Well, I can't avoid it any longer: that's all the airsoft gear going up from the garage to long term storage in the loft.
 
I'll probably keep dropping by here though as we'll need some distraction from the constant doom about the Chinese Virus Communist Bioweapon.

Love my TM M4..but today's winner was my G&G MP5 SD6 - This gun just rocked @ West Midlands Airsoft.  So light and nimble, sneaking through dense undergrowth was so easy with my belt kit. 

Dragging my somewhat flu ridden backside out for some much needed airsoft action tomorrow. 

Ugh...I'm out the house 25mins to go get a jab @ Dr's...return home and missed my delivery by Royal Mail. 

Its official, this is the first time since i started that all my long guns are functional.
