  1. @RAZ0R @Gepard, I've been looking at the GeForce GTX 980 Ti and the 970. Swaying to the 980 TI for the extra cuda cores and bandwidth to be honest. Finding myself doing more and more video and photo editing where they would be useful. But for both, the prices are way over what they should be so I am loathed to pay for them right now. I normally don't have a problem with buying used, but GFX cards as easily abused, so I tend to buy them new, or at least with a used warranty. If I can get single stick of "ok" 8GB DDR4 ram at some point between now and October for less than £50, then I'll pick up either a i7-8700K or i5-8400, a new motherboard and a couple more WD 1TB drives to change the RAID to 5 and have a bit more space. Maybe treat myself to a super quick m.2 boot drive
  2. Ooh pc people! My PC was designed to be quiet and low powered for it's performance. I keep meaning to pick up an Arctic Freezer CPU cooler, but the stock intel one is surprisingly good in this case. Aside from games it is used for light photo editing and lately is now doing video editing (slowly!). Processor : Intel i5 4460 3.2GHz Motherboard: Asus Z97-A RAM: 2x4GB HyperX Fury CL10 Graphics: Asus 2GB Geforce GTX 750Ti HDD: Boot Drive = 240GB SanDisk Ultra 2 Storage/backup = 2 x WD 1TB Green - RAID 1 Case: Coolermaster Silencio 652S PSU: Coolermaster VS 550W Semi-Mod This year is meant to be upgrade year for it. I was going to get a new graphic card for it, but with the prices through the roof for them right now I'm now looking for some decent price dd4 ram, and I'll just go new CPU/board/ram this year. With the hopes gfx card prices come down next year.
  3. My new fake magpul sling appeared today. It fits and works, yay! Not bad for £13
  4. Cool, that's the same one I'm thinking of buying!
  5. Which clone did you get @Wo1f? I got this cheap one of amazon. It came with its own mount (not mlok) , which it fits into fine. But a slight pull and it jumps out of the magpul one.
  6. I am aiming to get rid of the clip on the sling, as I hate the way it rattles against the rail (they are both metal). I was just going to unpick the stitches and sew another qd swivel/clippy thing on, but the new one I bought doesn't fit right... and I've just notice the sling is begin to fray at the other end... so new sling time I think!
  7. Bit the bullet and paid the silly price tag for a real magpul mlok swivel mount to replace my zip tie. Seems extortion for such a small part, but it does work and function very well. Now just need to decide on a new qd sling... Decisions decisions!
  8. ^^^ that's what I am slightly concerned about with mine... I do tend to sneak around in trenches and lay down on crests to hide from folk. Toying with not using the suppressor during outside games as I'm a bit scared of getting it caught on something and it bending/snapping off
  9. How do you decide what to use?! I'm bad enough with two
  10. Enjoy your new toys @LightningCh, seems like quite the haul you got there! My partner has one of these. Lovely looking thing, but by gum how heavy is it!
  11. Must admit, I did love running around the depot last week with just my pistols.
  12. I am so glad I don't need to book on for specific roles on my local site. Not that I have a sniper or DMR (I don't trust myself to measure min engagement distances right!), but if I did I like having the choice to go back and forth between guns
  13. It is very nice! Fits the Mk23 like it should and so easy to draw! Sadly my next game day isn't untill the 4th
  14. Seeing it in the flesh made me realise it was worth the money. I do like the quick draw style holsters!
  15. Just picked up a DTD holster for my MK23. Seen one last Sunday and decided it was worth the pretty price tag... Also bought some kydex sheets off ebay to make a BFG holster for myself. I can't be bothered with the 4 week wait from the site I have found them on.
  16. It's on my ever growing airsoft wish list, unfortunately my bank account isn't bottomless I was pretty much after a big pistol. I've got short arms and full stocks and folding stocks are uncomfortable for me. This fit the bill nicely. The wasp has flip up sights, but as it's pretty much used in short distances it's easy just to aim by looking down the barrel and watching the bbs. The recce gets a scope of I'm using it outside.
  17. I got bored one night so took some "nice" pictures of my two primaries: If I'm playing outside then I'll stick a scope on the Recce. The little G&G Wasp tends to have my GoPro session Velcro'ed to the top of the rail (where the white bit is).
