My Cymas Semi Auto Failed recently as the second trigger got worn down. As it's in an AUG base and you cant really get second triggers for Augs (With the hole at the back) My tech had to gut a standard second trigger All is well now.

about half an hour at this point

 

since discovering on the aksu that an ab mosfet screws up the semi i've been figuring maybe the same was happening on the f2000.

 

so dropped a warfet in her today and with precocking on it's now cycling very nicely on semi.

 

of course the trigger pull is still crap but that's just an f2000 thing, and the COL is almost certainly going to wear out very quickly.

What is the other 36%??😲

I'm feeling it too...  and I don't even have any of my guns with me to work on or tinker with. Apparently the new Thor movie 'Extraction' on Netflix is quite good, might give that a watch.

ahh well, was a fun idea. the makarov seemed like an ideal candidate what with the way the barrel is setup, but i don't like the look of those tracer units as-is. too stubby.

You could get a shell milled though, same diametre as the tracer but much longer so you can stuff it with foam.

win-win-win-lose, you get the look you want, you get the tracer and you get some level of sound suppression too, but obviously your wallet will suffer more

I played it last year when Ubisoft gave everyone a free copy following the Notre Dame fire.  I enjoyed AC: Black Flag much more.

 

I cant put my finger on why i dont like it, it just doesnt get me.

 

Black flag was awesome, didnt even need the assasin stuff to be good when you can just be a pirate.

 

That said i'm maybe just odd, i enjoyed the hell out of ac3 and a lot of folk hated that for some reason.

I've played both Unity and Black Flag extensively and yeah the latter is definitely my favourite between them. Although I tend to get bored of a game when you have to do the same type of mission time after time. Obviously a different series but I think Far Cry 4 may be my favourite game of all time.

yeah, the aim wouldn't be complete silence, just to make it sound less like a sewing machine.

 

i suppose HS gears with HT motor would be the best option, no need/desire to increase the ROF or trigger response.

 

i probably shouldn't do it, it's a great gun just a bit whiney.

Quietest gun I ever heard was a tippman omega. I could not hear the guy next to me firing, to the point I told him I didnt think his gun was working

tbf it's probably plateauing after spending so much time tinkering with aeg's trying to push every last drop out of them, whereas my current aeg's i'm happy with "good enough".

And they'll stay that way right up until chrono on site.

 

nah, the f2000 always works just fine at chrono, it's when it gets on the field with an actual target it immediately starts misfeeding.

If you were/are running a PDI I honestly wouldn't be considering a CJ. I would say at best it would be a sidegrade and an FPS drop.

They are popular(ish) with the Mk23 owners (they're cheap and available) and some VSR users swear by them. The marginally wider bore helps with over volumed RIFs so helps balance things up a bit.

They are sold on a lot of bluster about the end providing a vortex or whatever it is, there is rarely a mention that they are a brass barrel and nothing about the internal finish.

fair enough, i'm not so worried about voluming/fps issues as it's hpa so i can set to whatever's necessary.

 

might stick to what i know then and get another pdi.

this is part of the question, i know there's the NPAS kits, although i've heard those aren't as consistent as a dedicated nozzle, which i don't know if anyone makes them for the svd.

 

seems like it could be a nice setup, i mostly play a pseudo-DMR role these days anyway.

You could still HPA it and get the best of both worlds really :)

I suppose a daytona would work but they dont make one and i couldnt afford it anyway.

 

It's more trading rate of fire/longevity of fire for a bit of fun whilst hopefully retaining sufficient accuracy.

I mean i wouldnt say no to a but of purging, but i was thinking more basr. Considering we have a flat 1j limit and i have several polarstars feels like it's just engaging hard mode for no reason.

Single-barrel shotgun with a hop unit might be a giggle, although they seem to come in hotter than 1J.

Could be, i suppose its because i'd quite like to give it a go, see what the satisfaction of that one hit is like, rather than rely on constantly having the "persuasive" power of fast follow up if they decide to get creative.

They are pretty good, I can almost not fog them up.

Yeah, they are kinda weird with the reflections though, suppose it's just something to get used to.

I'm almost tempted to give them a try tbf, although I'm not sure they'll fit my broken, bent nose

We had a few rentals with accompanying shenanigans, but mostly they were all right.

@lozart i tried, but the perfectionist in me is too strong, it's all about the accuracy.....

You don't - buy heavier and better ammo, improve your hop unit.

 

If you really want look at hunterseekerarmouries and buy a lapping kit to get a ridiculously smooth finish on your barrel.

Lol, probably a sensible decision, that motor doesnt look like she'd handle it all that well, and last time(s) i tried it fried the motor

 

Tbh i'm thinking just leaving the auto cutoff to do its thing might be the best move, would save a wire coming from the gun.

@Rogerborg the Titan and Warfet are very different beasts.

The Warfet relies on timing and power control where the Titan runs optical sensors. Mechanical reliability is about the same as I have seen both units fail regardless of age or usage.

 

Although the warfet precocking works ok the Titans will be better as it counts gear teeth which is more reliable. Also the titans trigger sensor is something the warfet can match as it is just a plug in unit.

 

The only thing I will say is if it fails the warfet is easier to replace so for none tech minded it is easier and cheaper. For competent people the titan is easy as takes less than an hour to fit to most gearboxes.

 

Other than that sorry got to disagree with Luke as would pick Titan everytime.

Ofc the other downside to the titan is it doesnt fit some of the more niche boxes, im still hoping they'll figure out a v6 version.
