  1. British Army GPMG sling 👍 They're about a score on ebay and very heavy duty with a quick release. I have a green one on my M249. (Strong arms and back still required )
  2. Certainly not sold as "new"... plus is there a pair and would they be classed as 2nd hand or 2nd foot?
  3. Funny thing with this topic is Wolf Armouries started selling Gamesworkshop stuff and space marines etc... I used to paint the little lead figures as a young teen but I was always crap at it. Never could achieve that shop display quality. I can appreciate the skill and I'd probably enjoy it now but damn, I don't need another hobby that's for sure. I like to paint my RIFs and kit though. That'll do Pig, that'll do...
  4. Indeed, if you bought something and want to sell it - it's 2nd hand. It is and will awlays be until someone else buys it and it becomes 3rd hand... it's how it works. Condition may be as new but it's 2nd hand. You may not have used it but it's 2nd hand. It could be in a sealed packet unopened but guess what... it's 2nd hand. Just because you don't like something after buying it doesn't mean it's still brand new. Why? Because it's... 2nd hand.
  5. lol I've only got 4 mags but I do have my Rocketdogbert special... a 300 round drum mag as back up. I do need some more mags, tempted with another MWS too...
  6. Those things make players look like Floridian Coffin Dodgers...
  7. M249 now has a home to call it's own (image is an example..lol ). Behold my new behemoth bag. Big enough for a squad to sleep in if need be!
  8. Different crop plus Cat and grip box missing in 2nd shot...
  9. Could be this: https://airsoft-forums.uk/topic/34969-asg-scorpion-not-working/ Same issue?
  10. Good stuff, quite dear over here in surplus terms. Wish I'd picked up a load of it when I was out there. Loads of surplus stores everywhere, alas that was before I was playing airsoft (which is typical ).
  11. I like Aussie Jellybean camo, a rare thing to see. 👍
  12. Yeah love the lock and load, plus the drop out, slap home and fire. Very satisfying.
  13. My G&P M249 said to use it on Nimh and DO NOT USE OVER 7.4v It was rubbish, really dissapointing. It's weird, boxmag is wired to Large tamiya on a battery and the boxmag is wired to deans into the RIF. Chopped off the large Tamiya, soldered on a Deans, chucked on a 4000Mah LiPo 7.4v and it's in GOD MODE now. Huge improvement. I'd of done it straight away but as it recommended the Nimh I tried as told. Utter twaddle. Go LiPo....
  14. The joule creep is mostly a matter of gas efficiency. Basically with the lighter ammo you're rif is wasting a lot of gas to send the lighter BB forward and into flight - the wasted gas is simply expelled once the BB has cleared the barrels muzzle. With the heavier ammo it is using the excess to achieve the same thing but because that excess is available it is able to do so. If the valve was efficient with the gas and only used enough gas to send a light weight BB into flight it would have a lessened ability to push the heavier BB as the excess gas wouldn't be so abundent and therefore less able to do so. Not accounting for seals and a lot to do with pressure.
  15. Pressure; the time it takes for the gas to vent plus the valve time to close and the power of the spring operating the valve to return to its original position. "Science stuff" is the short answer.
  16. Ooh, is that a UBR I see cropped off shot there? Nice...
  17. Remember to turn it off if you go for one as well...
  18. Try looking into that place where you dare not look! You'll find me there, staring out at you.
  19. Yeah, they've been around quite a while. Not the cheapest but they have some nice stuff and it's always turned up when it should and the way it should. 👍
  20. Not had a problem but problems only happen when problems occur and thankfully I haven't had that yet...
  21. The retailer is fine, I've used them before to get a G17 metal slide with trades on. I'll let you know about the rif. 👍
  22. This company: www.kyairsoft.com They are in Hong Kong, they sell the base models and also sell engraved versions for a little more. Some of the engraved versions you can customise, for example; the one I've ordered I've requested a specific serial number. If there's something specific unlisted it may be worth emailing them as they are engraved to order so in theory anything is possible. Hope that helps. 👍
