  1. I have absolutely no need at all for another RIF however it takes a huge amount of self control to not need another...
  2. Did make me laugh; got an appraisal and doubles it.... Why bother getting an appraisal?!
  3. I used a JR Hacksaw. Pop a pencil in the tube to measure the depth, then I marked the outside of the tube with said depth. I added about 5mm to be sure I was not going to hit the valve then stuffed kitchen towel in the tube to keep dust out the valve and sawed it off. Pull out towel wadding and job done. Really quick mod to do once you've done one. All 8 mags have this done and they work just fine. 👍 EDIT: I used a needle file to round off the cut after - forgot to mention it! EDIT 2: No valve key required. Just use a flat head...
  4. Very cool. Thanks for the info. I'm waiting on a Form3 at the mo. I'd love the XL but that will have to wait.
  5. Nice work there. I like that a lot! What printer are you running?
  6. I used to get that on my GHK; the BB follower would get caught on the part that had the feed lips leaving 2 bbs bouncing around. A quick file job inside to round off the edge allowed it to feed correctly (just saying incase it happens again with new BBs, ya never know... plus what others have said )
  7. Great book. Nice idea you came up with 👍
  8. Yes, the shipping is the worst but it's the only place I've found with these type of winding speedloaders unfortunately. It does do the job though and it's a step up from the tube loader that comes with the MWS. And as you've found out a normal speedloader just can't handle loading an MWS mag very well if at all - I had no luck trying. I would of thought TM could have come up with something a little more than a tube and plunger considering the effort and quality of the RIF itself. Something I could carry in a game would be ideal - no such luck as of yet.
  9. Whilst silicon isn't of any real benefit inside the mag, it is good with leaky valves. Put a drop on the valve and give it a few split second fills with gas. Or use something you can push the valve with in & out. Just to work it into the parts a little. A thick silicon like the GHK one is better than a really runny one but anything will do tbh. That's what I've always done with any mag that has leaked from either valve and it's always fixed them (unless damaged but as you have 5 mags leaking I very much doubt they are leaking from any damage).
  10. I use one of these. Not cheap but makes loading easy. https://www.softairgames.net/en/bb-loader/16437-hurricane-speed-loader-for-series-marui-mws-gbb-warmag-wm-hurricane-9.html
  11. How about a Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah or are you saying Eotech don't know their own products? Kids these days.....
  12. Also if an Eotech style holo, it is meant to align with the front A-sight.
  13. Ordered a full size stock for my double barrel shotgun. A little side project...
  14. Black Hawk Down Green Zone World War Z Mission Impossible (the more recent films, not sure about the older ones) Blood Diamond Three Kings The Mummy The Pacific (tv series) I know these use airsoft rifs, loads & loads of films use them. It's a lot easier when filming to import/export airsoft than blank firers or the real deal. Some countries like Morocco have very strict laws so deactivated airsoft rifs are often brought in. They're also cheaper and safer if say for example; to fill the holster of an extra who may just be milling around in the background looking busy doing nothing but filling a scene. I know these films use them because my brothers and I own some rifs used in them...
  15. I see they've bumped the price up a nugget, OK no biggy but for some resaon I had to say it....
  16. Internally I've only changed the bucking and nub, the rest is stock (externally I've only changed the stock). I like the idea of heavier recoil but I'm happy with the amount it has as stock. I don't want to damage or wear anything down prematurely so I've avoided heavy weight buffers (same with my GHK AK, minimal upgrades - I'm more for accuracy than anything closely followed by fast trigger response).
  17. Not yet my friend, still browsing. 👍
  18. I don't really like the gold factor but for some reason I don't mind it on the goldmatch. Would be nice if they offered other finishes. Perhaps they could bring out an even better model; PlatinumMatch?
  19. Thanks for the tips and links @Crazy_Crystal & @Davegolf. I'll check them out too. 👍 I'll report back when I pick something. No doubt with some gun porn... It's just reminded me I have a Leapers BugBuster that may work... I'll have a think about that.
  20. I'll take a ganders at the Vortex range 👍 Thanks for the headsup.
  21. Is that the one million dollars (£800'ish) jobby? Bit more than my pockets hold...
  22. Can't decide on a scope/RDS/Holo for my MWS. I have got an ACOG which is nice but unfortunately the optics are set for 100m so anything closer is a little blurry. Plus my eyes aren't what they used to be so the fibre optic crosshair is a little fuzzy. Put reading specs on and it's sharp as a razor but no way am I looking like a grandpa playing a game with them on...lol Any recommendations, it's a fairly stock looking M4A1 with a Hera CQR stock. Looking for either a sweet adjustable ACOG or maybe something I haven't considered.... jusy nothing silly money though. 👍
  23. This Dreamer paid a tenner, I reckon I could have got it for £9.99 elsewehere...
  24. It's the Easter weekend... 👍 Everyone needs a break sometimes.
