Unfortunately a large part of the UK public feel over entitled and that the rules don't apply to them. Theey don't follow guidelines, the spread gets worse, the country gets restricted. Check your social feeds, the people moaning loudest will likely be the ones who were the biggest protagonists in your circles.
It is what it is, we can't change it, I do hope you don't end up getting redundancy and make it through in good shape both mental and physical.

They're a good bunch here, some of them punch below the belt occasionally, but we're not a very venomous forum. And the occasions that a moderator has to step in to break up maliciousness is very rare.
 
Please consider sticking around, and getting a feel for the members here. Instead of going on the counter attack or leaving over something quite, well... trivial.

Rule out the cheap and simple stuff first, try a Linux bootable USB - use a different one to the one you're using for Windows (tests if it's an issue with your USB and therefore corrupted Windows files).  If Linux boots then your upgraded hardware should be okay.
 
If you end up with the same black screen etc then it sounds like it's hardware, basically just open it up again and either check all your connections or remove and re-insert each upgraded part.
 
To me it sounds more like it could be a dodgy USB as it's obviously getting through POST without an issue - and I presume you've been into your BIOS to make sure that's setup correctly.
Just realised your comment about disk and USB failing to boot - double check all your connections, cards/memory are seated properly etc and double check your BIOS settings.

Firstly, you’ll need one of them, a cheap one will do, only really need it for continuity and possibly voltage measurement. 
 
Youll have to see if power is getting to the LED, if it is, the LED is dead and a new one needs soldering in. If it isn’t, you need to go through each component till you find where the power gets too. 
 
It may sound difficult, but it really isn’t, just take your time, methodically go from the battery to furthest point and work your way in at both ends till you find where the issue is.

I ended up rewatching the first couple episodes of Altered Carbon on Netflix. Forgot how much I enjoyed it. Season 2 is coming out this year too!
