      To be fair every item I've ever ordered from China has arrived within the set timeframe. Even little Epackets come with tracking now so I can check up on the parcel every few days.

      Both me and wolf have had a similar experience of ordering , being able to track on Aliexpress but not being able to find any hint of it with any other tracking service once it’s not turned up and still says ‘in transit’ on there site ! 😳

    Quite surprised this evening - or morning I should say - when I'm browsing through eBay and see Mk7 helmets at <£40. What happened?

     

    6 months ago and these helmets were in high demand at >£100! Have all our soldiers been kitted out with Revision Cobras already? I'd have thought that would take at least a decade..

      No worries! There are a bunch of airsoft sights similar to it. Not identical, but have a similar compact base with tall flip up sight

      I saw someone the other day posting a tutorial on baking their TM sopmod rails in the oven to get then to turn FDE/Bronze.

      Can't bake the TM rails, they're painted not anodised.  G&P are bakeable though!

    Despite being in all day and about 5m from the front door apparently Hermes "Missed you" at 14:02. 

     

    Now it's gone back to the depot for redelivery.

    Ordered a parcel on eBay. Turns out the seller is using Hermes as a courier.

     

    Less than a 50/50 chance of it turning up within the next 6 weeks. :ph34r:

      Yeah, anything over a certain weight or size and I go with ParcelForce. Never had an issue with them.

       

      Anything smaller gets sent via Royal Mail.

      Hermes have always been good in my area, you're at the mercy of whomever covers that postal code. You must just have a crap person covering. Complain enough and they'll sack/replace them.

      Don't know what your paying or what you're budget is. We ran a VPS forum for a while and then gave up on it  as other sites tended to hog resources, going for a server of our own. <£25 a month from Kimsufi.com for a pretty high spec system that was our own hardware. So we had complete choice of OS and software to run and build as we like.

      Thanks, but we're fine. I'm just adjusting the resources to account for the new stuff we've added. Devastator has been using DO for years for the forums and I've been using them myself for about the same time on other stuff :)

    I keep getting popups when clicking on the forum. Not sure what triggers it, but it always redirects to rgshark and happens a couple times a day (see attached).

      No, absolutely no idea.  I only use PC and ipad but never a phone. Devastator as root admin would be able to look at the issue.  Recommend that you start a new topic (with clear descriptive title) in Forum Feedback with all the details and screen shots to give him an idea of the issue.  Also other members may also have this problem and be able to add to the topic.
