  1. Eh, given that there's minimal chance that it will be delivered by next weekend now, I've requested a refund instead. Given their lack of responses to date, I've tried to contact them via a PayPal dispute as well. Let's see how it works out, but I am the opposite of gruntled about GunFire at the moment and - depending on if or how they resolve this - could only recommend staying well away from them despite the cheap prices.
  2. Working day 5, no response, no update to the order. I'll be opening a PayPal dispute on Monday. I knew, I just knew I should have gone with TaiwanGun. 😒
  3. Aaand another working day, another no confirmation of my response or of dispatch. I guess TaiwanGun gets my business from now on. It's worth a few more £££ to actually get sent what you ordered in the same week that you order it. Who do GunFire think they are - a British company?
  4. And on working day three, Roger did receive this message. And lo, Roger did weep, then ask for part FMA-09-003821, which is functionally identical to FMA-09-003828, and he did wish that they had spake to him yesterday, or verily hath just substituted it and sendeth the order on that day. And there was much lamenting. Well, it happens, and it's no biggie in the end. Pretty clear communication as well.
  5. Ex-two tone, removed it with sandpaper or something too solventy? Or that could be the "dirty" part. How would you know, those are the only pictures he's chosen to provide. Probably not practical, but how funny (and useful) would it be to automatically link to the lowest priced retailer selling each item? It might wake some sellers up from their delusional dreams.
  6. Well, damn. Ordered Sunday night, expected dispatch was shown as Tuesday, which would have given it a fair shake of arriving by Friday. It's now the end of Tuesday, two full working days after ordering, and the order is still showing as in progress, with no dispatch information. I'd stick with TaiwanGun if I were you, chaps.
  7. Anyone got any horror or great success stories to share from the past couple of weeks? GunFire are coming out about £25 cheaper than TaiwanGun for the same order (or to be more precise, I can add a tri-shotty to the GF order for a couple of £££ extra) but I'd really like the delivery before next weekend. What do we reckon? I'll be ordering first thing Monday morning either way. [EDIT] Ordered from GunFire, such cheapness, many bargains. Taking one for the team here, I'll let you know if and when it shows up.
  8. I'd wondered. While I can't be doing with Novritsch turning his channel(s) into one continuous shill for his own branded tat, at least he did put some effort into creating the SSG24. Trying to flip £100+ profit on one just because there is (or was) a waiting list is bare scalping, and I hope this seller takes a well deserved bath on it. The "*final price drop*" did make me chuckle. What's he going to do if it doesn't sell at that price? Throw it on the barbecue?
  9. What is it with SSG24 owners? Brand new price is (($435 + 3.2% duty) + $55 shipping) + 20% VAT = $605 = £451 to your door. "*final price drop*" for a pre-licked one is £600, excluding delivery. It does come with the all important Novritsch sling though...
  10. With respect, that's an automated stock system and a fortuitous delivery. I tend to judge retailers on how they respond when things go wrong, because that's when it will really matter.
  11. Looks like I was lucky to get an order through from them in mid April. Such a shame, I hope it works out for everyone.
  12. BBC Watchdog? I'd be surprised if an organisation of pinko hoodie huggers had anything to say about realistic imitation firearms except to REEEEEE! in horror at discovering that they are available, and try to get the whole industry shut down.
  13. You'll probably want to cite Fraud Act 2006 S2 Fraud by false representation rather than CRA 2015 if you're going to accuse them of being criminals. CRA enumerates your tort rights, it doesn't create new criminal offences (except for obstructing an enforcement action or purporting to be an enforcer). On that, I've invited justbbguns to exercise their right of reply in this thread. Mostly for the lulz.
  14. Mmm, I have seen this issue of returned stock being sold as new levelled against several of the "fooBB.com" merchants. Best of luck. What criminal offence have they committed?
  15. It's not so much a problem with stock imagery, it's that he's asking for money now in return for something that he doesn't have and which may not even exist. That's the kind of shenanigans that gets marketplaces a bad name, and if it were up to me, I'd delete the ad, ban him, block his IP, and shag his sister for good measure. Then send him pictures.
  16. Well, ordered Monday morning, delivered 2pm Friday afternoon, can't really fault that.
  17. http://i.imgur.com/phQ2es0.png DPD tend to be too efficient. I've had DPD Darren pull up outside my house and sit in his van while I'm playing with myself in the garage. When I went to ask him to handle my package, he got all sheepish and said he couldn't give it to me yet as he was early. But... you're here... I'm right here... Yeah, but Friend Computer won't accept the signature until... 3... 2... 1... OK, now you can have it. ... aaaand I've just realised that I checked "garage" on my UPS delivery, but I locked the garage door this morning after I'd got my bike out from sheer ingrained habit. Despite repeating "Don't lock the garage door tomorrow. Don't lock the garage door tomorrow. Don't lock the..." to myself all last night. So, OK, ineptitude, fair cop.
  18. Can't be done, homes. Check out this memepic:
  19. Huh, I didn't even know you could do that. I only see options for where they can abandon it at my house.
  20. Please, please tell me that you're wearing the tail. 🐇
  21. Shows what I know. Ordered yesterday, dispatched today, UPS plan to mis-deliver it on Friday. Don't I look silly. Lulz though, they're STILL showing the messed up address from my first order, despite having sorted that out last time. I might have to create a new account in order to fix that.
  22. I'm surprised this hasn't been updated for a while. I'm on order number 2. The first one, well, Polish addresses ain't like UK addresses. Be very sure that your address appears as you want it before doing the order. In particular, don't try to get clever with the flat number part - about 8 characters of it just gets appended to the end of the address line, so don't try and use it for your UKARA. It took a few days of back-and-forth to get that sorted, but they were pretty responsive and it all came good in the end. At that, I don't think their dispatch is the quickest, so plan on a few days to get the order out, then 3+ for delivery, so you're not likely to get it the same week that you order. At a quick (order number difference / date difference) calculation on my 2 orders, they're processing in excess of 300 orders per day so might get swamped at times. Other things to be aware of is that they use the cower of shunts at UPS, who will do everything possible to misdirect, misdeliver and flat out lie to you about your package. In particular, you can probably forget having any gun order delivered to one of their "Access Points" which tend to be hole-in-the-wall shops who will simply refuse it as it's too big for their shoebox sized storage. GunFire's "GLS" courier use ParcelForce once it hits the UK, who are slightly less awful than UPS. All that said, dat stock, dem prices. Once you've amortised the postage charges, it's hard to argue with the value proposition.

+1, I guess. I just ordered some bits, they came next day, 1st class as promised, and very well packaged. One of the few sites I've actually bookmarked and will definitely be using again.
