    Awesome link, Done!
  3. I've used a Magpul MS1&2 single point sling for quite some time, very strong connectors and the material has a nice finish to it.
  4. Certainly food for thought guys, looks like I'll be giving it a whirl sometime soon.
  5. Over the past few weeks I have been increasingly getting drawn to buying a sniper rifle, I think I would really enjoy the tactical side of the sport as a sniper. My main concern is that given the FPS limits at most sites (500 fps, .2g BB) is it really worth it? Now of course I don't want to hurt anybody during game play. However, I would have thought that 500fps using a .4g bb would be more realistic for sniper play with a strict minimum engagement distance. The whole point of playing as a sniper is to be able to engage the enemy while being outside the firing range of enemy AEG's. Which begs the question, is it really worth it? Thoughts? Dan.

Large Scale Game Sites in the UK?

Thanks chaps, I'll check these out! Dan.
  7. Hi All, I was wondering if any of you know of sites that offer a much larger terrain area than the "standard" airsoft games sites? In the previous country I lived I was used to playing a single game which would last for hours or sometimes a whole day and the game would cover quite a large area. I have attached a pic of my previous game site which consisted of woodland, an abandoned hospital and various outbuildings. Can anyone recommend a game site in the UK that offers this type of gaming? Cheers, Dan
  8. Hi All, For the past 7 years I have been living in the Philippines and during that time I have been an active member of a MILSIM based airsoft team. I have been fortunate enough to play in abandoned military installations, proper tropical jungle, and a range of other sites abroad. The Philippine police would even use us as practice for kidnap and hostage rescue scenarios! Although I have been active for a number of years, my experience of the U.K scene is absolutely zero. I'm hoping to join up with active team here in the U.K and continue my hobby back home. I am currently based in Newark in Nottingham, I'm 37, married with one daughter so understandably airsoft will fit around my home life but I am still pretty flexible for game dates etc. At present most of my gear is still in the Philippines so I will be looking to purchase new equipment here so I can get up to speed ASAP. (that pesky UKARA law prevents me from purchasing right now though). Anyway, I hope to get some replies to this and see you on the battlefield. Dan.
