If you're in the the UK then either get rid of it or never show it to anyone as its illegal.
If the vent is not straight through from the breech then its a film prop and can ONLY be owned with a Film/TV Armorer certificate.
If the vent is straight from the breech like a normal barrel then its totally illegal and would be treated as a section 5 firearm so VERY bad to own.

Depends on what you mean by “displayed here”

This is an airsoft forum.  Blank firing guns are not relevant.
No matter what form of venting

If you however are referring to physically ‘displaying’ blank firers in a location in the UK (eg mounting them on a wall display) then UK LEGALLY COMPLIANT blank firers are legal to possess, without legal controls other than common sense (they do not need to be stored in gun cabinets etc) But should not be accessible to minors or in sight from inappropriate locations - hung up on the wall near a window could result in police at the door to investigate

Most importantly, forward venting blank firers are not UK legal, and would be treated as a Section 5 firearm.  You would need a firearms licence, which is unlikely to be authorised for a blank firer, and would need to be stored in an approved gun cabinet

When you call you ask if a UKARA number is associated with 'name' and/or 'address' and if currently valid.

GDPR would stop them from giving out or confirming an address surely?

only thing they can do is confirm that UKARA number belongs to the named player

My understanding is there are a number of friendly retailers, such as firesupport, that are happy to confirm the validity of ukara details, including the address for delivery.

I don't assume anything, by your own admission researching a seller is extra effort & you'd rather go to a retailer, a as I previously said, your money, your choice.
The point being discussed, that many don't agree with, understandably, is the defence of cosplay has little bearing on airsoft, open to abuse by non airsofters, which in turn puts everything at risk for the genuine players.
I sympathise with your situation, I too provide 24/7 care, literally day & night, to a relative, unpaid I should add, who is disabled & has dementia.
Add to that I've been receiving cancer treatment since 2021, & severe orthopaedic issues mean I currently can't climb or descend a flight of stairs unaided, so I know exactly how hard it can be to attend games, or even cope with getting around some sites.
(I'm determined to not let the health crap force me to quit)
Cosplay would have been piss easy for me to use to buy rifs, but I don't agree with it for Airsoft rifs for all the reasons previously mentioned, maybe cosplayers and reenactors should have been made to go down the route of deacts or similar, in order to not "muddy the waters" for airsofters.
& as has been mentioned, maybe people like you & I, who find themselves in difficult personal situations should have more flexible options for attaining a ukara defence.
I'll put this out there as a general question, for example has anyone ever approached a site where they've started playing, but for whatever reason have had a protracted break between games, & asked the site to honour the previous games & make an allowance for the time away ?, allowing players get ukara approval.

Bumped into a random guy yesterday, who recognised me from here. Sorry dude, didn't catch your name.
Thought I'd pop back and say "HI I'M STILL ALIVE".

I marshal more than I play these days.
Yesterday was a fun day at Red Alert, with 111 players.
Surprisingly, with that number,  I got no reports of hit calling or the like, though in the afternoon we did have to deal with an issue of a kid being bullied by a group of other kids.

I was, of course, wearing my Irish camo yesterday, or lepretarn. Just the shirt.

And apparently I'm now the authority on tag rounds, as I was referred to as the tag grenade guy by two different people yesterday.
What can I say, I enjoy blowing people up at range.

I can add to Lord_Poncho's comment about the WELL MB01
I got one to try out as it was cheap and wanted to try a boltie just in the garden.  I was lucky enough to get a relatively good one.
It shoots almost exactly 450fps(0.2g) stock and is accurate enough to reliably hit a tin can at 15m which is the max distance I can shoot in my garden. (I use 0.3g BBs)
Haven't tried it in an actual game but for a bit of plinking fun its quite satisfying. (Tip: Pull the bolt as close to the body as possible to avoid too much side torque)

BUT if you're after accuracy then stick to air rifles as airsoft is nowhere near as accurate.

My main ride (W650) complete with son.  Note ex-girlfriends lace sided leather loon pants.  I used to wear them until I stopped training martial arts for a couple of years and got bloody fat!

Bike has been dynojetted, airbox cut and pipes debaffled then dyno'd for perfect mixture.  Turned an 85mph constipated slug into a ton plus snorting beasty.

Crap pic of my Guzzi.  Same Tonti frame as the LeMans.  Frame of a sportsbike, engine that's agricultural folk art.  Wanted one ever since I rode a friends new one back in the mid 90s.  Mrs TPH likes this one.  With a little bit of help from a bloody great iron bar it sounds like a Lancaster bomber.

It makes hum the CHiPs theme tune as you ride it.

Old pic of my XS 'Zig-Zag Wanderer' after the Beefheart song.  I'd bought some 7/8" ss tube to make handlebars with, but booze said, 'Nah, you need a sissy bar.'  Still have it.  It now has open shotgun pipes and is Daytona yellow.

My bike for hot dry days.  0-100 in 7.2...  My Dad bought this for himself for his 70th.  He has something more sedate now - Honda 750 Hornet.

I've a few more in bits and the lad already has four including a GSX250R.  I think they breed in the garage tbh.

Looking to buy an Enfield to chop.  I want another hardtail.  Looking at an 883 on Saturday.  It's A2 license friendly and #1 son can slow down a bit and have something comfy for his girlfriend to sit on.

I'll not put the patched up pics online, but bikes have been a massive part of my life for years.  Despatch rider for a while, lived in a shared house with clubmates.  Still get together once a month to scare polite society.

A Sunday school teacher is concerned that his students might be a little confused about Jesus, so he asks his class, "Where is Jesus today?"
Steven raises his hand and says, "He's in Heaven."
Mary answers, "He's in my heart."
Little Johnny waves his hand furiously and blurts out, "He's in our bathroom!"
The surprised teacher asks Little Johnny how he knows this.
    "Well," Little Johnny says,
"every morning, my father gets up, bangs on the bathroom door and yells
'Jesus Christ, are you still in there?!'"

Went to Bespoke today as I was working half an hour away and had underlings to do work whilst I looked important.  So I pulled rank and ducked out for a bit with my faulty from new AA G36 GBBR.  If you remember the other thread, it is firing a shot at 500 ish fps, then everything subsequent to that just rolls out of the barrel.  I bought it from them at the end of last summer, then had trouble getting in touch, and then work/travel commitments made getting to their then Slough based store tricky.  Talking to them today, I am willing to grant them the communication issues were down to them preparing for the move.

New shop is looking pretty damn impressive.  They have a fairly big unit on a small trading estate.  I assume a warehouse downstairs, then a large open office upstairs with a new shop area that is going to be quite big too.

They answered the buzzer and let me in unannounced.  An incredibly polite staff (I think the owner) took my pew, which is now well over 6 months from purchase, listened to the description of the fault and said he'd take it down to his tech whilst I had a look around.  I was then given a tour of the new office, shop, firing range, pistol showroom and Air gun showroom.  There was not much in stock at the moment as they're still bringing things up from the Slough premises.  But they had, amongst other things, the Walther WA2000 along with some very nice looking pistols that I had to fight very hard to resist.  I wish I had £780 to spend on a wall hanger.

Had a good 30 or so minutes left to my own devices whilst the nice lady behind the counter helped some dude pick out a pew for his daughter, then the guy came back to say that they could see the problem I was having, and would keep the pew for a few days to fix it as they didn't have another in stock, implying to me, that he would have been happy to give me a replacement - so top marks there.

They also confirmed that once they're finished setting up, they will be doing all kinds of repairs, upgrades, and customisations in house as well as sales.  This should take them another week or two, but i have two or three non essential pews that need attention that no one else seems to be interested in (or that I'd trust), so they'll be heading there once the G36 is proven.

Sooo....  If one were to take everything at face value, and assuming they fix my RIF, then I am a happy bunny and they deserve all the success after what must be an eye wateringly expensive investment.  Can't blame the shop for a faulty RIF out of the box, but unlike Only Airsoft in Stevenage, where there seems to be an attitude of "warranty is up to them" once you leave the shop, Bespoke seem to just want to keep you happy.  Although to be fair to Only Airsoft, they have honoured the warranty when required - it's just the perception that they give off that is unnecessary.

Certainly can't fault Bespoke for care and attention so far!  Standby for updates.
