  1. Am I missing something or is this quite literally the exact same Double Eagle SR-47 that was available to purchase last year? The only genuine difference between this "new" release and the previous one is a shorter handguard and not having a Magpul MOE style stock.

  2. Seems like typical first gen problems from a manufacturer that hasn't done an AEG before, especially with how they've strangely they've designed it.

Actually had the pleasure of seeing one a few weeks ago at the depot and it looked great, owner had no complaints other than the shockingly poor internal battery space. Sounded a little different from most AEG's but it wasn't lacking in performance from what I'd seen and felt. Biggest issue they had was the poor internal battery space and the price 😂

If it weren't £500 I'd honestly jump at it, one of the more fun guns to use in Tarkov and the closest thing we've had to it up until now was the rubbish Ares RDB from Kel-tec.

  3. I can kinda vouch for the KWA recoil guns? I owned a PTS Centurion arms CM4 a few years ago that was OEM'd by KWA that felt absolutely amazing to use, in fact I got a chance to use a friend of a friend's KWA Ronin T10 on Sunday there at a skirmish and was impressed by how well it felt and performed that I went and bought one from BZPaintball yesterday afternoon which just arrived a few hours ago.

Gotta say I vastly prefer the KWA over the few TM NGRS gun's I've had the opportunity to shoot over the past few years, definitely a noticeable difference between the two.

Biggest downside really is the lack of a stop fire on empty function which I remember being a great feature on my Centurion arms, though I can avoid having to buy £20 proprietary mid caps because of this.

  4. Weird, my aliexpress page still has a ton of airsoft gear on it and I recently got an order in from there that I placed at the start of the month so guess it's not all gone then?

Either way this is a shame, quite a lot of actual decent kit on there that's hidden amongst all the crap.

  5. I can't vouch for it personally just yet (Hurry up the 25th!) but the AAP-01 seems like a great choice for a decently well performing pistol, I managed to snag one for cheap but you'll often see them going for £80-100 on here usually with an extra mag or two. Personally I'd avoid all the ones with pre-upgraded stuff in them, never worth trusting other people's tech skills after all the "Fully upgraded" or "Upgraded" guns I've seen and sometimes bought.

I can however vouch for what other people are saying about TM Glocks. I used to own a TM G17 back when I started the hobby and it was by far one of my favourite pistols (In fact I've reached out to my mate who I sold mine to a few years ago to see if I can buy it back after my AAP-01 gave me some nostalgia about it). Obviously biggest problem is making sure you take care of them by using the correct gas throughout the year but honestly they're great pistols.

Post has been deleted now but I think you could say the guy has gone off the rails if he's offering bounties for people to doxx his "haters".

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from him, not that I'd expect anything but this type of behaviour from the type of man who brings his "haters" family members and loved ones into an argument over him purposefully causing pain/injuries for content.

  7. Really disappointing stuff from VFC again, still seems to be one of the higher end (in terms of cost that is) brands that still refuses to innovate. Real shame since their guns aren't that far off from being arguably decent purchases considering how hard it is to get proper trades on some of these guns.

  8. This is likely what I'd go for if I were to copy one of my AEGs kitted with the finest wares of Aliexpress and turn it into a gas blow back rifle with real steel kit.

TM MWS (long barrel variant) £459

    6x MWS 35rnd Mags £300

Magpul CTR stock Milspec FDE £79

Magpul MOE+ Pistol grip FDE £30

Geissele Automatics MK16 13.5" FDE Handguard Milspec £525

Geissele Automatics Super precision 30mm Scope mount 2.04" £383

Vortex Razor HD Gen II-E 1-6x24 Rifle Scope £1550

Streamlight 88066 Pro tac flashlight £130

    ARISAKA DEFENSE M-LOK INDEXER £40.80

    Total: £3,496.80

Stumped at what else to add to round it to 3.5k but I tried my best to get near the budget rather than over it.

  9. Genuinely expected them to be about £400-500 give or take after reading what they had to say about it being custom made...but 1400 quid for what is essentially the Krytac REC7 upper/lower/handguard set and a bunch of overly expensive PTS/Magpul shite on it.

And while custom hi-capas can easily go for that price it's a total piss take for them to actually make something like that, the type of person to spend that much money on a custom built pistol is going to want something exactly the way they want it. Not £1200 worth of random CNC'd shite.

I do somewhat fear that Johnno has being mugged off to clear the site out.  After Hammer 2 Operations got punted off of two (might even be three by now) sites, it's not paranoid if they are you to track get you.

Given the distance, that it's just half days, that the site is going to take some time to develop fully, and that they've pulled a bit of a cad's trick and are clashing with Biohazard fortnights, I'll be giving it a miss for a bit.

Hopefully I'll see you there on a full day when some sanity has returned.

Yeah that's the concern that a few of us had when cleaning out the site, what are the chances that the landlord boots them out after the lease is up, the amount of work those guys went through to clean up the site well before we started showing up was insane. Place was practically jammed full of rubbish and Pidgeon shit.

It's unfortunate that they've clashed with Biohazard's days, just means there's less sites to play at depending on time off work etc. And yeah the site is definitely going to take some time to grow, some good ideas planned though from what I last heard. Might have something to do with locking off certain passages around the building to change up chokepoints so it doesn't get stale with the exact same stuff every game.

Looking forward to it man, hopefully it doesn't sell it out in two hours in the future haha

Quite interested in this as one of our lads played at their old depot quite a bit. Have you any pics of what to expect?

I will visit next year ( it’s not far away 😂)

The only photo's I've got at the moment is just of the site in it's partially cleaned condition so I wouldn't be doing any justice to it by posting them but I believe they posted a few pics on their facebook page of a test game they did. Looks like your standard CQB site so far with that portion of the site they've completely cleaned out.

Visiting next year definitely sounds like a good plan! plenty of time for them to add more to the site and hopefully get back to having full length game days so you don't have to travel very far for only a few hours of play :)

  11. Got myself book up for the 19th! I've attended two of their cleanup days and was impressed with what we'll have available to play with in the next few years to come (if the new landlord isn't a massive cunt like the last one) so I'm excited to get playing at the new site even if it's a bastard to get to.

Shame that you're missing out on these gamedays due to the track and trace system, might want to bin your phone as well considering it's just as easy to track as a scannable QR code lmao but fair to you mate.

  12. The way I see it is that if wearing a unit patch or one relating to some special forces team allows you to gain more enjoyment out of the hobby then fire ahead, we're all LARPers at the end of the day. It's just a bit awkward for everyone when you've got people showing up and taking the LARPing to the extreme by claiming to be something that they're not and expecting people to "follow orders" while getting shouted abuse.

I've seen more non-serving members of this community (airsoft as a whole I should say not the AFUK in particular) get absolutely raging over stolen valour than I have seen actual serving or previously served members of the forces getting annoyed over it.

    Either way LARP on
