The O ring is somewhat of a selling point though IMO.

@ak2m4AAP uses standard GBB cut and the stock is 129mm long with a o-ring channeled in about 5mm from the end.
The only aftermarket brand who have copied this design I've seen so far is PDI

They're relatively cheap pistols. They will always be available and as time goes on more and more will enter the market.
On some sales groups they're as cheap as £65 brand new.

When I burn out, I go somewhere new on my own for a session. I'll either have a great time and it will re-ignite me or I'll see that what I already have nearby isn't actually as bad so will re-ignite to go back.

I used to very much identify as an "airsoft sniper" covid did me a solid and I got into Hi Capa builds and it's been an ongoing "ism" since.

Sadly I too like you am one of the single figure % who play airsoft and aren't autistic though so game days with other airsofters are still challenging, that's why I pick who I go with carefully so I have a relaxed time - not neccessarily then "day to end all days" every time.

Much like "Universal" car parts. Fits nothing unless you spend hours making it fit.

@Skara The brighter C is a very cost effective unit if you plan on "only" throwing greens. It's more or less the smallest on the market, is one of the brightest ones and has a nice auto off feature.

I'm a little biased as mine has been amazing for the last year.

He generally carries all the really nice AM stuff, CowCow and AIP as well as 9Ball and PDI barrels.

He's just announced as well he's going to start stocking LA Capa Customs stuff which is blingy.

The correct answer is Hi Capa.

Mk23's are silent but slow and heavy trigger pull rule it out from anything more than a sidearm or carbine body DMR.

Glocks have shit triggers.

AAP's are cheap but always end up breaking at some point (also see point on glocks).

TM Hi Capa can be bought cheaply and ran on HPA from the off and you'll slowly find yourself go down the rabbit hole. 

I am biased, I have multiple capas. In 2 years I went from 1 capa to 2, to 3 to 5. In that time I also tried my hand with a 2 AAP's and 2 Mk23's which didn't cut the mustard or perform I felt "as well" as my Capas.

A word of caution though, it can get expensive very fast in Hi Capa land. There are always new parts coming as well which is detrimental to your credit balance.

First time there, didn't really know what to expect to be honest. Was ok once I moved onto M4 but day was a little marred by the gamesmanship.

He likely wants to get into sniping because he's seen any of the number of high profile YouTubers doing it. Sadly the reality is far from that, they cut together days of footage to give an 8 minute video that looks more action packed than the most recent F&F movie.

Sniping is a long game, it's slower paced and it's tough going if you don't have a competitive rifle from the off. Amazing fun if that's your thing though.

36's are AR food. DMR's need at least 4's.

A couple of the stalls said that they would check UKARA before selling a RIF.

Some of the bigger ones didn't, I think it's an almost fair assumption that to go to an airsoft fair, pay £5 for entry to wander round and purchase then you are "most likely" an airsofter.

The one which made me smile was one of the players stalls (selling second hand stuff) stating it would check UKARA as I didn't even think that was possible any more.

I can say though that I went knowing my UKARA had expired but still came away with a new RIF.

Just stop with the lies. You already know you're lining up your next "want" which after a month or 2 will turn into a need which will then turn into a purchase on your CC.

I regularly play CQB with players from 2 local Speedsoft teams. I like it, they provide a high standard of both team and opponent and they're extremely honest.

You also don't need ot be running and sliding, you can post up at the back and provide cover. 

May throw a spin on airsoft that you never knew you'd enjoy.
