  1. Well if you can only say one thing about my boy it’s ‘he's quirky’ ! when he decided he fancied doing it I thought I’d be in for an absolute hell of a job putting it together (dads wallet so dads job !) ! The BDU’s+cover+a boonie were less than £30 P&P from Ebaybanned ,looked like no one wanted that pattern in XL . Again was thinking “where the hell am I going to get the rig from ?” But then saw that rig’s on TG have no idea at all what the Camo pattern is they just list it as ‘RC’ . Turned out the easiest part of all was what I thought would be the hardest , the Type 89 ! Don’t know if your aware but they’ve been out of production for about 6yrs now so are like hens teeth to find , so there I am having a good old moan to a team mate and he turns round and says “oh I’ve got one you can have , never use it !” So that’s the story of how putting together what I thought was going to be my hardest loadout project ever , turned in too the easiest!
  2. Not me but my sons new loadout , Japanese Ground Self Defense Force . JGSDF BDU set . blackhawk knee pads . helmet cover on a PASGT helmet . samurai half face mask (well it’s the JGSDF after all!) . rig , inteseptor type in RC (what ever that is ?) from Taiwan gun . sig 226 to replace the Minebea P9 . TM Type 89 .
  3. And that was a short lived new purchase , clutch has gone on the car and now so has the new shottie to PAY for said clutch !
  4. Got mine from amazon , think it was around £13’ish (took about wk and a half to arrive) but they are on fleabay, any thing between £11-18 depending on where your ordering from and how QUICKLY you want it !
  5. AND this is the reason I bought the shotshell holder , after using my sons the other wk at strike force I had to get one for my self !
  6. Have a look for some corrugated plastic (it’s the type they use for advertising boards ) cut too shape then couple of big strips of gaffa on one side then on the other side get a craft knife and cut down the corrugation channels and it’ll curve to your shape around but keep rigid in the vertical plane . and I've just bought one of these shotgun shell caddy thing’a’me boxes , very impressed with it !
  7. GEEK ! i know what you mean mate it’s the little things that make the difference .
  8. Ive been ‘dabbling’ in kydex for a couple of mths now , BFG holsters are a doddle to make all I would say is get the hottest hotair gun you can , I got mine from Screwfix and it wasn’t that expensive either . AND a pair of thick rigger gloves to hold the hot Kydex !
  9. It’s re-spawn for the grommets and re-gen for the crusty old f**kers !
  10. My team mates and I all run those masks now (I’ve got at least 5 in different colors) really like them a lot due to the ‘soft’ side panels you can get a nice cheak weld when aiming but they still give great protection from hits too the face . I highly recommend them .
  11. Sorry mate my son announced last wk that he really fancied one so after scouring tinter’net looking for one and discovered not a chance , was having a good mutter to a team mate about it and he turns around and says “oh I’ve got one you can have only used it once been boxed up since then !”
  12. Just bought this for my son ,TM type 89 in almost as new condition ! and for my self ? A B&T GL-06
  13. I like to think it’s the core idea of S’ofting , helping each other out if we can !
  14. Here you go mate I know how frustrating it can be when something spoils a photo so I’ve got rid of the offending article for you hope you like it .
  15. I also noted the shonky gloves a few yrs back , plus as has been commented on the distinct lack of product description has always worried me about there commitment to the sport/hobby and not just the moneies FROM the players of said sporting interest ? Had hell of a problem when I had purchased a gun and was sent the wrong model , was told over the phone when I eventually got through to them " what's the problem it's the same AEG just a different rail on it !" ?!?!?!? Could be wrong but I do feel the bigger they get the less customer care that goes with the company growth . Example I had was couple of yrs ago I was over in the states went to the Evike shop (which was absolutely huge and had every thing you could think off on display !) purchased a load of 'bits n bobs' that you just don't see and a box of Pmags , now I asked for dark earth ones and the distinctly uninterested sales guy got me a box of OD ones , pointed out his mistake ( from his reaction you'd think I'd said he had killed a puppy the glair he gave me !) he goes off to get the correct ones , comes back bags every thing up , I pay start walking out the shop and don't know why but decide to check and discovered the cheeky f**ker had put the OD ones in the bag ! Not happy to say the least , another sales assistant takes over (who was a lot more helpful) to be informed "he probably couldn't be bothered to go out back and get them!" And since that incident have spoken to a few others who have been screwed over by Evike especially overseas customers .
  16. I also have prescription inserts for my glasses (bolle trackers ) AND l also sweat like a pig but as an ex-biker I swear by bob Heath anti-fog , little squirt on both lenses and I'm fog and condensation free for a good couple of hours .
  17. gun hit , gun out of action switch to secondary (your up poop creak if you've not got one !) any other hit your out , and if any ones says "I've got body armour on so I'm stil in !" There talking out of there Arse ! I've seen the after effects of real shots to body armour and believe me you'd not be in a fit state to keep on playing !
