Got my MC Warrior DCS to use outdoor, absolutely quality bit of kit. Unfinished, needs a few more patches and pouches, but getting there. Was always sceptical about Warrior kit but certainly worth the money, echo the buy cheap buy twice stuff others say.

Booked in at Warminster on the 4th, quite possibly the 11th too. Looking forward to stretching my legs again after so long out of it.

Bottom ones are ‘similar’ to mine, Bolle do a full seal kit for a number of their glasses though which negates any issue. My combats fit really well on my face, nowhere near enough room for a BB to directly hit my eye from any direction.

I’ve just got myself the Bolle Combat kit which comes with three lenses. So far, so good, wanted something that I could attach directly to helmet which these do, but also I have the option of putting the strap on them if I just want to run with a baseball cap on. I haven’t managed to get them to fog yet, probably famous last words for my first full day skirmish with them on the 4th. Not cheap (not ridiculous either at ~£50) but I always used to play with mesh, now I’m wearing contact lenses I want that extra level of protection that the safety glasses give, without having to run prescription lenses etc. On the topic of lower face pro, give Delta Mike a search on Facebook. Really comfortable snood type face pro, with a metal grate over the mouth (and nose depending how you want to wear it). Lead time is about 4-5 weeks but so breathable and so much more comfortable than any other face pro I’ve worn before.

You’re in a similar predicament to me. I picked up an 8fields chest rig off Patrolbase which seems really decent for the price, but a PC is an itch I want to scratch still. Part of me keeps looking back at a Warrior DCS, it’s not cheap I know but I’m tempted to give it a try and sell on if I dislike it. I quite like the idea of having the choice of what to run on the day rather than be stuck with one single setup and end up getting frustrated for whatever reason.

I got bored waiting for my longer buffer tube to turn up for my Specna C25 PDW to be able to run my Li-ion stick battery in it, then all of a sudden I spotted this SA-E07 come up on the PB boneyard in the quite striking Battleship Grey. Have been buying a few bits off the forum and eBay/Amazon recently ready to buy an E14 2.0 and bolt everything on, but saw this and thought why not. Nuprol PEQ box (also cropped up on the boneyard), Surefire rep tucked in at 45 degrees with a low profile mount, dual pressure pad, Theta XTO holo, Big Dragon QD suppressor and a cheap stock to finish it off nicely. Originally planned to turn this into a Mk18 style build with a black rail, but actually quite like how this sits as it is. Maybe a black dual pressure pad rather than a clear one but that’ll do for now. Voila, my first externally ‘finished’ gun.

I honestly can’t wait for my 303 to turn up.

My second very expensive hobby. Not the most ideal car for woodland airsoft, should probably invest in a runaround that isn’t decked.

I’m by no means the UKARA police or an expert on the subject but I think it’s right it should expire. I didn’t play for 5 years, therefore theoretically lost any right or defence to own a RIF? The time to expire perhaps the subjective point, but on the note of paying, that’s the equivalent to a day’s game fee roughly, which you’d have to do under normal circumstances to renew anyway? Some sites having to cancel site insurance and cost cut with everything going on, so on reflection I guess not a bad time to support sites through this rather shite period. Do I agree that UKARA should be the dominating factor in being able to buy a RIF? Not at all. But it is and it allows us to generally go about our business without too much hassle so I’ll roll over and take the hit.

Sorry to bump an old thread @dykm2. Found the old listing through FB and eBay, what’s the chances of another batch of these? In the same dilemma of not wanting to spend several hundred quid in the event I don’t get on with running around with my Baofeng. If so, how would I get on running my radio either on my belt or at the bottom of my chest rig? Any cable length issues?

Nail on head. Only issue I have is when it turns into a cockswinging contest. Serving military, ex military or not at all, I don’t need to know how much money you’ve ploughed into your P* or 4 figure set of NVG. End of the day, what we do is all for a bit of fun and to stretch the legs, generally I’ve made more friends out of serving/ex forces than I have taken a disliking to.

Pretty much exact same view as you. I can count on one hand the amount of people I met with HPA when I was last playing in 2015.

I knew I heard something about F&O on here but couldn’t think what it was, semi only doesn’t bother me too much so I’ll keep it in mind. I’ve visited Gloucester Prison before but never clicked that you can play airsoft there until about a month ago! Yeah, I got the impression Courthouse was a very lax venue, with lots of stag parties and generally not a serious crowd. But that was a while ago and like I said, would like to do it properly with my own kit this time and see what happens. I didn’t realise Black Ops had two sites that side of Bristol? I’ll be heading to the woodland Spartan too at some point, guys I play with have been and enjoyed it.

I'm 10 mins from Chippenham so that's definitely one on the list. Have you done Yatesbury? I've heard mixed reviews. Andover isn't a million miles away either, I used to commute to Birmingham so anything within two hours is quite doable on a Sunday morning for me to be honest.

I thought it was time to introduce myself, I've lingered/watched this site since disappearing in late 2015 following a fractured leg and change of career...having settled back in with a new job at home in sunny North Wilts, I've decided to empty my wallet and start playing again now I've got a bit more of a regimented work pattern and some of my Sundays back. My main experiences were down at Warminster and that's where I'll be heading back to first, I've also played at the Courthouse in Bristol (rental, eugh) and wouldn't mind heading back there again properly at some point along with some new places along the way (any recommendations would be cool). Got hold of a Specna Arms SA-C25 PDW to start with. Side note, I was a G&G whore before, now I completely see the error of my ways. I've also stuck money down on a Novritsch SSX303 and SSX23. I liked the look of the 303 as soon as I saw it and with the fact it's completely interchangeable with the 23 (mags, holster etc) I thought why not have both. Jury is out with Nov stuff I know, but the 303 was the thing that triggered me into plunging money back into this so I want to give it a go, I'm either going to love it or be bitterly disappointed I guess.. Never ran with a pistol properly before as I can shamefully admit I was always a hi-cap hero in my previous airsoft 'life', running midcaps now to eliminate that dreadful rattle and make things a little more interesting. I figured it would be a good idea to get used to lower mag capacity given the 303 runs a 24 round pistol mag. What's next...wouldn't mind a Mk18 of some description, also got my eyes on another Specna, this time an Edge 2.0, but trying to keep money in my wallet until it's available this side of the water. Quite enjoying M-LOK stuff at the moment!

Spent more money... Went for a Onetigris fast helmet, bought some Bolle Combat glasses and bungees to attach them to the helmet rails. Also got myself a Viper Tac belt to run my dump pouch and some other stuff that won’t fit on my chest rig. Just waiting for my Delta Mike face pro to turn up so I can put it all together and see how it looks. Many patches en route too, along with a strobe (not sure how useful it’ll actually be but thought I’d try it, anyone run one?).

I never ran with one when I was using hicaps at the start of my airsoft ‘adventures’. The never ending capacity meant it was just easier to swap a mag out and get back to full auto destruction of rentals and kids with gravity fed M4s. Now I’ve come to my senses and I’m running solely midcaps on any AR, I’ve got a Novritsch SSX23 on the way along with a 303 on preorder to enjoy alongside each other. I’m planning on running the pistol as a sidearm all the time and swapping between my Specna and the 303 for different situations/playing styles. Absolutely love and hate pistols at the same time, but hands down completely agree with other comments about being a better choice for a CQB situation. Last time I played at the Courthouse in Bristol, the guy running around with a GBB and red laser literally bossed the entire day, nobody could get close to him.

Bought a Specna C25 thinking it’d be a straightforward out of the box shooter to properly get me back into airsoft, only to realise it’s been rear wired long enough to plug into the mains at any safe zone in the UK along with the available space in the buffer tube for a AAA battery...at a push. So I’ve got a longer buffer tube 3D printed (can’t get the actual extended one from Specna - god bless Brexit) and some spade connectors on the way to chop out the 6.3 miles of unnecessary wiring. I’ve also spent a shit ton on new gear, some accessories for this Specna and my eyes are on another Specna M4 at the same time, because why not.. Oh yeah..and I preordered a Novritsch SSX303.

I’ve got a C25 running on an M100, chrono’d at around 325 pretty consistently on .2s. I’d say that’s your best bet. Bought the Guarder SP100 from Patrolbase, £9.99.

Echo the above really.. My Specna is 10x better than any of my old G&Gs that for some stupid reason I used to rave about in my previous airsoft 'life'. Seriously impressed by it given the price point, handled 4 different Specnas now in the last few months prior to biting the bullet and getting back into airsoft properly, all of them seem built well with pretty much no rattling. Not the best out there, but for a starting gun with fairly decent internals (mosfet, tbb etc), Specna pisses all over G&G...and then some.
