Just-Cos Cosplayer Insurance is a means to acquire RIFs. While not universally accepted, it aligns with the requirements of certain retailers.

Why don't Just-Cos not just list the retailers that accepted their version of a defence? UKARA have a list of registers retailers on their website.

Seems odd to sort of leave you scrabbling  to find a retailer especially if you paid for the membership?

  2. https://prefired.co.uk/ads/el-aks74u-aeg-with-mods-and-original-parts-to-return-to-stock-if-needed/

Struggling to see where the justification for the £600 price tag. Considering it an E&L Essential with some unspecified brand of internal "upgrades" which consist of a hopup and tight bore inner barrel, and replica Zenitco parts

Also the proof of ownership paper looks to be photoshop in so could be a scammer.

Am I right in assuming they are all the same thread so that one would screw right in? Thanks for the link, will definitely think about it even at that expense

One of the infuriating things about Airsoft AK's is that, there is no universal dimension acceptance.

What fits one brand may not fit another out right, or my require modifying.

In your case lct are well known, and secondary part maker's like  Hephaestus who I linked before, make items to lct spec because lct use to/ still  do the bodies for GHK AK gbbr's so their products AK wise are interchangeable.

Research is you best bet before you buy or if can get the original part.

    literally just the post

Are you after the post that sit between the protective wings of the front sight that is screwed in?  Because when you say your missing the post for your front sight I am thinking of this just as an example https://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/Hephaestus-AK-Tritium-Front-Sight-Post-for-AEG-GBB.html

As the picture you posted is the friction pin that keep the front sight block in place on the barrel for lct replicas.

  5. ANA M2 plate carrier I have seen go between £150-£170 not including PayPal fees or postage.  Current conflict you maybe able to ask for more, depends  if it flavour of the month for Russian kit collectors.

As for the other pouches,  techkinkom pouch looks like a grenade pouch for Russian molle based kit so I say about a £10, Not sure what the sso/sposn pouch is so can't say a price and for the SRV look like mag pouch £15-£20 not including PayPal fees or postage.

  6. From what I gather currently, pretty much anything military related is being held for Russian troops and exports have taken a back seat, also Russian customs is is cracking down on military related items confiscating anything deemed useful to their war effort.

A lot of Russian webs store are also taking crypto only due to  sanctions,  so at the moment PayPal is not an option, some store have apparently manage to circumvent this but I have not seen it.

If your wanting real steel Zenitco,  private seller/second hand market are the popular option at the moment, there are a number of Facebook pages like Northern Pact and Red market just put up a wanted post.

There also https://39bullets.com/improvement/zenitco-tuning/ based in Poland, but I have not bought from them in a while so I can not comment on their current reliability.

All else fails there maybe an airsoft version of the Zenitco parts you want, cheaper and more readily available.

  7. The use of someone else's pictures when it come selling an item, especially at  that asking price is a major Faux pas on the sellers part.  A simple google reverse image search shows the pictures were taken directly from a 2014 blog post from this web site https://timmmk2.militaryblog.jp/e582128.html

Has the hallmarks of a potential scammer.

  8. To be fair you hit the nail on the head in your own question, and that they are display piece only with some functionality to show off.    Maybe the manufacture thinks that there is a burgeoning market for form over function replicas for collectors.

  9. If your just swapping the original LCT handguard for the LCT AIMS one, then you should not really need any special tools apart from something to flip up the latch for the front handguard retainer. Most LCT AK part are quite interchangeable since they are airsoft spec not real steel spec.

  10. You remove the rear sight and the front portion on the new rail top receiver acts as attachment point, by take the place of the rear sight. I believe that style of top receiver cover is based on the  AK dog leg rail, an American design I think but don't quote me on it.

So you could look on YouTube possibly for a better visual guide on how to install it.

  11. Very nice I am on the look out for a gen 2 so it would be a faux pas on my part to suggest a price.

I will be keeping an eye out on the classified.

However just to throw  an idea out there. You could just use it as an AK103 if your committed to replicating the 7.62 AK's you could keep as is or if you want the standard factory look, you would just need the AK74M full black polymer stock.

  12. I run an lct rpk,  standard v3 gear box and AK hop unit so spare and modification parts are very easy to get hold of.  Feed from a verity of mag from 2000rd auto drum mags to 30rd low cap  mag, so it has some cross mag compatibility with my other guns.

Full steel and laminated wood, has the look of an lmg but nice and relatively light weight to be carried/ used all day. Has a massive battery space in the stock I can fit a 7.4v 2200 mAH lipo. Only internal mods I have done is a pro win AK hop unit and a  Modify flat hop up bucking for 25.g and above.

I have added a lct rpk side mount to replicate the RPKN so I can use optics. The ppn3  nvg scope was to show that if the side mount can support it weight,  any other optic is not a problem.

    Yes the 105 is E&L

A slight miscommunication.  I mean is the zenitco rail you bought for the 105  specifically for E&L AKs?

As some manufactures make  them for different  brands of AKs.  E&L furniture specs are different from LCT.  So if you bought an LCT rail and put it on a your E&L that maybe a possible cause of your problem.

  14. You may have to press down on the gas tube itself, I have the problem in the past, another the other point is to make sure the front part of the gas tube is fully push into the gas block port.

Is the zenitco rail for the E&L series of AKs and not LCT/Cyma?

Hi I would like to sell my Type 56-2 plus 4 mags. Message me if your interested

Unfortunately You need to post your AD in the classified section of the forum.
You may need to meet a minim post count before you can thought not sure someone will correct me on this.

  16. 20 years interesting.

Personally I would estimate for the vest at about £95-£125 whether you include PayPal fees and postage in that price that something you will have to consider.

As for the Vog belt in my opinion between  £75-£85 again whether you include PayPal fees and postage in that price that something you will have to consider.

A nice set up for a first & second Chechen war loadout and quite nice for the ability from the vest to hold two 5.45X39 mags per cell.

Could anyone give me an idea how much this is worth?

Do you possibly know the purchase history, did you buy directly from a store or a private seller?

Unfortunately there a number of quite well made replicas of this type of rigs such as frontowiec Belt-A - Lifchik version, that have sometimes  been known to be falsely passed off a genuine surplus with added markings and some added ware and tear.

  18. Personally if their you favourite's and your on the fence about selling them, I would keep them. You can always sell them down the line if they no longer hold any sentimental value.

However you no doubt know  got some very rare and in two case niche items, as for pricing very tricky. If you can post them world wide then I personally don't think you have any problems selling the GHK RPK, NPO  9A91u or the NPO SR2M,whether you can be bothered to deal with the hassle of international shipping that up to you.
