  1. I recently got the 8fields 90cm padded case. Really like it. Holds a trident pdw, ares honey badger and my pistol. Also got a nice big pocket that holds my mags and batteries
  2. Walked round a corner one time, only to find a bloke there with a shotgun. Took a few BB's to the hand from about 3ft resulting in a golf ball sized knuckle for a week. Lesson learned, got some nice gloves after that
  3. For the sake of £20 I think I'd replace them. I've had some near misses with my eyes at work and lesson learned, but the thought of taking a bb to the eye scares the s**t out of me.
  4. Since it's from Poland,TG just charge a flat shipping rate (10 euros I think). And you don't need to pay any customs charges since it's in the EU. What you pay Taiwan gun is everything
  5. Just bought an ARES 'honey badger', which i got with a scope and torch/laser combo. So the flip up sights were very quickly removed so i could fit them I'm hoping to try it out at the Gaol this sunday (24th). So if you see a guy in black using it come and say hi
  6. Thanks for the suggestions,i'll check them out. And the split design box too,i've seen it being sold i'll see how much disassembly is required.
  7. So, as i'm not very clued up with the disassembly and resassembly of AEG's, the quick spring change system is quite appealing. The only gun i know of with the feature is the ARES honey badger which doesn't seem to be rated too highly for some reason. Can anyone list a few other guns they know of with this kind of design?
  8. Why the dislike of ARES guns? I held the honey badger in my local shop, and honestly it felt great. Solid but not too heavy, nice firing position and the quick change spring is great. What makes the internals bad? Not a pop at anyone by the way,i genuinely don't know.
  9. As above,TG are excellent. I can't think of a reason not to buy from them!
  10. Sorry i see how that read. Can you cut the plug on your AEG and join a new connector to it,to use the different style battery?
  11. And it's as simple as cutting the Nimh connector off and soldering a Lipo connector onto the existing wires?
  12. In theory,if you were on Semi fire only, would NiMH/LiPo still have a different trigger response?
  13. Thanks for all the advice/opinions! I'll have a look at the TRMR and ohshibooms.
  14. That's why i figured something that didn't rely on impact would be better, though i have seen how well impact grenades work inside.
  15. I was looking at getting a BFG since i play Cqb mostly. Does anyone have any experience with this particular model,or suggest a better one that they've used? I like the look of the rubber outer, but it would help if it's reliable too. http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/gun.asp?page=bfg
  16. I think it would be cool to have a purpose built area like that. But i hope whoever buys it leaves it as it is,i like seeing historical things being preserved.
  17. There is a place in coventry not too far from me,i'll have them look it over for me. Cheers for the assistance!
  18. Thanks for the advice gents I decided to go on the side of caution and ordered myself a guarder M100 spring,my site allows 350FPS so i figured better safe than sorry. I'll definitely get someone to change the spring for me,i'd hate to ruin a gun i've never used before Could anyone recommend a place that'd change it over for me? i daresay they could check the hop while they have it?
  19. My gear also arrived from TG today Firstly my 8Fields vest, cost just under £25 and the quality is fantastic! Room on the left side for 3 mags, mine are the Mp5 mags which are a good fit,i'm guessing AK mags etc could fit. Pistol pouch and also a pouch on the side for a spare mag which is quite a snug fit. I'm quite a skinny guy and i could adjust the straps enough for my frame which is unusual Secondly my Cyma Mp5. Build quality on this so far seems nice,no wobbles, good solid click on the mags and fire selector switch. Only thing is, TG forgot to downgrade the spring so it's firing between 390 and 400 and unusable on my usual site I think if i get an M100 spring it'll bring me down to around 330? was hoping someone could help on that since i've never disassambled an AEG before. But yea, overall very happy with my first buys
  20. I got my gear today. Pros: Everything i ordered came. Cons: One of the mags was damaged (possibly not TG's fault and it was only £6) and they forgot to derate the spring so i'll need to change it so i can be site legal. I'd order from them again though.
  21. Everything seems normal inside,i'll just have to put it down to build quality. Thanks for the advice
  22. Thanks, reassuring to know it isn't a huge problem. Mine will do it regardless of slide position, however when the slide is back there is a huge amount of play. Maybe it's just down to the build quality...
  23. Just had a quick question regarding my pistol (you'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge for now, sorry). If i grab the tip of the barrel,i can pull forward, and there is maybe 5mm or so of play in it back and forth. Is that normal for a GBB?
  24. I'm from Rugby,so i'm lucky enough to be about an hour away from most places in the midlands I'll have a look on google at the sites you've pointed out definitely, i want to get around as many places as i can.
  25. Mine is expected to be delivered monday. Ordered and then went a week without hearing anything, so i emailed and asked for an update. Got told there had been an error and they'd prep it immediately. So a little longer to wait than everyone else but the apology was good enough for me. I also asked for a spring downgrade, think all of their SMG's are a bit hot for CQB.
