For modern you should go for a Ak74m preferably. Ak74 was realeased in the early 70s.

Yeah pretty much. Although mines all shiney at that moment as it's brand new. That will soon change.

I tend to find I have a fascination with Aks at the moment where as some people hate them. But M4s I find a bit boring now as I see far to many. I have one for cqb but that wasn't for the looks was just because it made perfect sense at the time. So yeah any decent Ak and I will give it a second glance.

I'd get an ak74 if I was you rather than a 47 as the Russians don't use Ak47 anymore.

Cheers Happy. That's a similar loadout in the picture to the one I'm building. Got a kzs suit and a klmk suit on the way. What chest rig is that? I've only got a chicom at the moment as the rigs seems quite expensive so will have to save for that.
That's brilliant I won't have to buy a new loadout for milsim then. Just fingers crossed I can make it. Have you started taking bookings?

Just curious who here has a russian loadout and what era you base it from? also if possible can you post pictures of your Loadouts.
I've just invested in some soviet kit from the late 80s to have a kind of Soviet afghan loadout. Also bought an E&L Ak74.
will post pictures of my kit when it all arrives.

Strikeforce is a great site. I think sometimes playing attacking and having no fear will go a long way. Just go round a corner and shoot. Most the times when a game gets stagnant is when people are worried about getting shot. Outdoors is completely different and I use much more stealth.

Just got my self an E&l Ak74. Slightly higher end than cyma and the externals are finished better. But as duck said if you are very new to airsoft you need to do some research first before buying your first gun and if you can get ukara before buying your gun.
