  1. Yes, airsoft isn't life. We have other commitments, responsibilities and..... Free time. If you've been threatened contact the police. If you list something expect responses or offers (you should receive emails from the forum for all direct messages so no excuses as a response takes 5 mins). If you take someone's money and don't oblige by keeping your side of the deal, then there's no equilibrium.. You're in the wrong. Don't blame the tool you use (forum). Learn how to use it properly. Buyers may flare up if they've given you their last £30 for the month on some used ex sf gucci wangers or whatever, that purchase may have been a big deal to them. Respect goes along way. I hope you resolve all issues concerning the OP and continue to be a valued member. No need to fall out. Its not football. Take care and love one another. Yours, Jerry springer

  2. A mate who runs shows has seen a drop in footfall. I simply don't think that there is much spare cash around for a variety of reasons. Luckily, I think that we are like alcoholics unaffected by the minimum unit pricing. It's too late for us to kick the pew habit now. They'll have to pry our rifs from our cold stiff hands, all the heating money squandered on running around the woods in fancy dress.

  9. So we normally play at NSC but decided to try Dirty Dog. It was a total mess. This was probably around a year ago. - There seemed to be far too many players especially for the container village. - Large groups of young kids, some blasting the most cringe inducing music from belt mounted bluetooth speakers for all to hear. - The games seemed to have very little rhyme or reason as to what was going on. - The respawn points weren't clear and neither were the objectives. - The main play area was so overgrown and sprawling it was hard for anyone to understand or play the objective. - Too few marshalls for such a large area with broken lines of site. It basically felt like we were at a kids Birthday party. The container village is great but have each container rammed full of people made it a chore. We're thinking of giving it another go. Is it always this messy?

  10. It's one of my local sites. It can get rather overcrowded, especially in summer. The village can be a bit of a nightmare, and have far too many people for the size of it. It's probably the most popular of the local sites, which will inevitably attract a proportionate number of younger players. Most are fine, but there's always some that will be a bit over the top, as it were. (Not just younger players though, tbf). I've not normally found the games to be too confusing though, they lay it out well enough in the brief and are usually pretty simple affairs most of the time, same goes for the respawns and objectives. If in doubt, there's usually a marshal nearby who'll be able to tell you where to go, or will be acting as, or rolling the spawn points on if applicable. There's not normally that much of the site that's overgrown. The only place that springs to mind is the northeast part of the ridge surrounding the village area, and that's only really going to be bad around the summer, when most plants tend to get overgrown! 😂 As to marshal numbers, I guess it can vary, but as it's not a large site, there's usually ample numbers near the action or objectives at least, I've never had to walk far to find someone should I need one. Summer months are usually peak silly-times, as everyone turns out for the good weather. I'd recommend going either in the quieter months, or on one of the occasional Saturday games. These are normally lower numbers, and seem to work better for the size and design of the site.

  11. One of my buddies used to travel from Edinburgh to play there (about a 3 hour drive) He raved about it, the size, the cqb, the container village He badgered me to head down with him, I never made it. Then all of a sudden he went in a strop and sold up all of his kit!! I wonder if it was a coincidence 😂

  12. You can get a c02 conversion for it. But again why get a bolt action version of a semi auto DMR.

    Straight pull bolt sniper

My thoughts exactly. If I was getting an SVD, it's going to be semi-auto! I find myself curious why it has to be straight pull though. The best sniper platforms in airsoft are not straight pull (I like my VSRs and gas m700s, but people also like the SRS, Steyr Scout and Tac-41)

  14. I had to look up Bulldogs, the beloved workhorses of the BBGunz4U style sellers. "This is the NEW Bulldog Proline R.I.S 6mm airsoft gun, it is an outstanding new AEG unlike any other rifle on the market today. It has a lightweight polymer and ABS body similar to a sportline gun but it has full metal internals the same as most Gen 3 rifles. This mix makes this airsoft guns a hybrid in today’s world of airsoft, lightweight compared with most full metal Gen 3 guns but can match them in durability and firepower due to its Gen 3 internals." Gen whut? Sportwho? Prolapse? Bayonet, check, skull facemask, check. Shockingly, no Raven GBB. So, anyway. Price £100. Price £100. Price £100.

  15. OK, two things - 1) why does it have to be a straight pull and 2) two of your choices are semi-auto and not bolt action.

  25. Actually went to a skirmish for once at Free Fire Zone near Bourne, only 30 players but the small teams made it a fun day. Rocked my MWS in the morning and got some ridiculous shots with it before switching to the new VFC FAL in the afternoon. OMFG that thing is brilliant. Absolute tack driver out to 60m+. Consistently outranged every AEG on the field. Who said you can't use gas guns in winter?

I do find it amusing when the post starts with “I am being controversial for not using an M4, but something that looks rather like one, but with a slightly thicc(er) mag.” 😆

@BigBell1987 welcome mate, but NO NO NO, no offence but it seem like every noob seems to want to reinvent the wheel (or circumnavigate the law), on paper Airsoft is almost perfect, almost, the issues/changes that need fixing are cheating in its various forms, & sites with shit staff that can't organise a piss up in a brewery, & ideally understand the physics HPA etc. It's not a lot to ask really, I've always said that organisers could make their own lives easier & their sites more successful if they copied the best aspects of what are considered the best sites, literally what works best. Everyone's a winner surely🤔
