  1. Before anyone gets triggered, I don't care at all if people do or don't wish to do this, matters zero when being shot with BBs vs bullets from a firearm, this is info purely for those who may be interested. For some, if you've never shortened the straps on your rig this may well improve comfort for you in general, but especially when doing any leaning, sitting, squatting etc; as obviously your chest is comparatively a static/solid block of rib cage, whereas your stomach area does the bending and most people's rigs hang low. The basic guide that's banded about for users of common real armour plates in popular modern PCs (JPC, Slickster etc) is that the very top of the plate should be right at the point your collar bones meet at the base of your neck. Most players buy a replica armour/plate carrier of some type and never adjust the shoulder straps, so 90% of the time they'll be lower than they 'should' (emphasis on parenthesis) be if it was real. Again, I know it isn't. Dirty selfie from yesterday's game where, if anything, my carrier is maybe a small smidge high on account of having featherlight fake 'plates' in it and it riding up a bit while in play. But from what I've seen pretty much all combat shirts have similar 1/4 zip length and as you can see about half of mine is covered up. It's actually running down to around the mid point of the English flag. End of the day, if you've never tried it it's totally free to just adjust the straps on the kit you've already got and takes about 1 minute, maybe worth a go. I think this quick and free change can potentially improve the look of a kit by a decent bit without buying anything at all. If that's not of interest though, have a nice evening ✌️

  2. The sight of a poor creaking plate carrier being pressed into use as a girdle may be even worse. At some point a chap needs to do the decent thing and just put on a gillie suit for the sake of the rest of us. Ive gradually come to the opinion that while many people *want* a plate carrier, what they *need* is a chest rig.

  3. If I were to generalise, not every player who's there to "win" is a problem, but every problem player is there to "win", by imposing their own imaginary reality. Whether that's the essentially silly game of pretend gunslingers (often played to arbitrary and muddled rules that can change half way through), being the highest imaginary rank of tactical genius, or by beating the rules. I suspect Licking Mustard falls into that last group, given the shenanigans he clearly revels in. Me, I'm mostly there to pleasure other men by giving them loud encouragement when they slam their balls in my face.

  4. Teacher asked the children what their Dad's did for a living. All the typical answers came up... Builder, fireman, policeman, salesman, etc.Joshua, a kid with a blond mop of hair, was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the Teacher asked him about his Dad. 'My Dad's an exotic dancer in a gay bar and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he'll go out to the back lane and have sex with them for money. The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some colouring, and took little Joshua aside to ask him, 'Is that really true about your Dad?''No,' said Joshua, 'He's just resigned as the PM but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids.

  5. Actually it's been scientifically proven that if a player is wearing a full grey tracksuit, their hood is up and the strings are pulled tight, there's a 100% chance they're not going to call their hits.

  6. First game in 2 years last weekend at Spartan airsoft CQB, went with a group of 6 friends from school, one of which was his first time. Overall good day, as always the stairs acted as massive chokepoints in games where there was a lack luster objective but other than that the marshalls & games were good. [rant ahead] One massive peev I have though is the fat fuckers who love to mouth off at the back ranting and raving to rentals, kids etc that they need to f'ing push up more and stop pussying around, while they sit at the back catching their breath from walking 2 feet. I can understand a bit of encouragement, most people usually give some and it is helpful for pushing out a choke point but when its the same tards with about 3 teeth and as many braincells all day, arguing with marshalls and saying they'll wrap their 'rifle' around someones head, throat punch this that and the other it gets annoying as fuck. Hit taking was alright, apart from one classic SAS patched black multicam warrior who obviously thought his plates were real as it took about 5 bursts for him to stop shooting other people (If you're going to wear a bulky set up and can't feel hits, for the love of god take it off). The whole thing seemed to have way more agro people than I remembered with a couple of out bursts through out the day from people who forgot we are running around with toy guns for a bit of fun. Other than the aforementioned rant, a good day and everyone came away happy in my group and wanting to go even further with upgrades and such, especially the new guy who's first time it was and is now saving to buy his own kit. He did mention a couple of times he people weren't taking hits but that was part and parcel sadly. Was also really fun to put the radios to use within the group. Now to get me ukara back in time for that fal

  8. Agree, for the sake of playing toy soldiers, I'd much rather see plate carriers worn "incorrectly" than loads of wobbly guts, including me own🐷🤣

  9. I agree about placement. One thing though, some of the larger players can end up showing a bit too much ubacs clad stomach below their plate carrier, and that isn't really a good look either.

  10. The best response to some twat at the back screaching for others to push up was from a mate. The screamer was some kid who thought being a cadet made him Geral Patton, and said mate picked him up by the straps on his webbing, carried him forward 10 yards and unserimoniously dumped him on the floor, before telling him to move up.

  11. I tried the new cylinder and that had the same problem, so it works suggest that the gears on the sector are a little proud. I don’t have a spare sectors great to try (without taking something else apart), so will probably just modify the new cylinder after I’ve put it all together with the first cylinder and made sure everything works. Yeah, the edge of the port is a little sharp. One of the reasons for taking it apart was to just assess things and remove any sharp edges (the stock has sharp plastic edges that cut into the battery wires)

  14. Im at the stage where a chest rig would probably be more “suitable” than my PC, but having recently purchased a scrote pouch, it does offer a bit of lower protection for my lower belly. So the PC stays for the time being 👍 One of the lads took a video of me last week whilst playing, I realise I look like a Tactical Humpty-Dumpty, which is distressing for all involved 🙁 But only I can fix that

  16. Swat - Wirral Outpost - Chester 6mm (Level 2) - Dagger Woods - Preston Any of these are good places to go solo. You will be welcomed and its not hard to just mingle with others. Imo Any site, indoor or outdoor will have the regular groups who sometimes seem unapproachable from the outside. We all play the same game/hobby. Sometimes after the first game, its a good way to approach others and talk about bits that you found good. It get the convo going and you will find most groups are just groups of regualrs players. Some only see each other at these events so its a good way to meet these folks.

  19. Mixed bag at Driver Wood yesterday.. to say the least. First off my personal woes. Get to the point my phone is saying 2 minutes to arrival, get to the roundabout to turn down the road the site entrance is on... building on fire at about 8am (only 16C out) fire serv spraying it and road closed, so being outside the M25 that's a 10 minute detour that makes you question if you're ever going to find a way around after a while. Get there, set my bags down, begin tooling up. I made sure to properly and fully charge 3 batteries the night before, that's MORE than enough, test fired both guns too.. did I charge and bring the right batteries to actually fit inside the storage compartment of the gun I want to use? Of course not. So the backup rifle became the one-and-only all day. This is what happens when you don't play often enough to actually be suitably familiar with you own bloody equipment, combined with generally being a dunce. On the site: No pot holes on the short road to the large, smooth hard-standing car park, huge thumbs up. Best setup of check-in I've experienced by far. Biggest safe zone with the best facilities I've personally experienced by far. Most seating I've ever seen and all actually nice, usable and clean. Highest standard of toilets I've seen by a long way, widest range of food available, pretty decent little airsoft specific shop setup, drinking water tap etc. Had a pagoda spraying out mist by the game area entrance all day.. bonkers. Really great props in the airsoft game area, which is a lot of the reason I went actually. Couple of military helicopters, plane, double decker bus, decent wooden towers etc, but for me all spread out too far and not nearly utilised enough in the games. The paintball fields we walked past looked like a ton of fun. Safety brief was short which was nice, but the marshal talking had all the force of character of a wet paper towel, many weren't tuned in (this bloke was my main issue all day really). Boundaries/area not explained at all in first game, was clearly just assumed you were a regular. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, get the 'Meal deal' when booking your space. I know the café could put out some really quite decent food because I saw many other people carrying it over to their tables; the menu is frankly a great, wide selection and well priced. But the 'meal deal' is a burger/hot dog and (get this) chocolate bar and can of coke... absolute fucking garbage idea of a meal when conducting physical activity. Long as you add the salad and sauces which are available the burgher is absolutely fine, not greasy, I've had better foods at sites, but it was fine. However the 'deal' is £5 extra, whereas various other better looking options available on the day only cost 4 somehow? Where's the package deal there, surely that's not how it should work?? Not pleased. Ability to book just half a day if you want is great for many people in terms of having that option, sounds brilliant especially if you live close. Flip side to the above is that the problem marshal couldn't herd the cats at all and teams weren't balanced anywhere near properly post-lunch when at least half left and only a handful turned up. My side was both larger and more experienced. Game just after lunch was a white wash of epic proportions. One single objective area that we locked down the entire time due to team advantage and far more/better cover our side. When I asked for a clarification on the brief of said game, instead of anything even approaching a professional response I was patronised and condescended to like a fuckin idiot; would've loved to kick off an argument frankly given that said brief contained blatantly incorrect info and the insanely simple thing I asked was not in the slightest bit hard to clarify. Final game was quite possibly the worst I have ever played. Problem marshal gave the laziest, most lacklustre 'ugh it's warm and I can't be arsed to do my job' brief I have ever seen. Lasted seriously less than 30 seconds, couldn't believe it. Layout made no sense, no boundaries explained, teams still way unbalanced, didn't work in the slightest, wasn't a game. I basically just knelt by a wooden wall for 45 minutes. I could hear the paintball marshals in other netted off game areas loudly shouting games on/over, music playing etc, happened most of the day. But there were multiple times I didn't even know we'd started playing airsoft; never an issue I've experienced before. The other marshals seemed like decent blokes really, pretty good actually overall. The owner clearly loves the places, you could literally watch him all day cutting wood and building new structures. Place has a ton of potential, many brilliant aspects, just thoroughly tarnished by one lazy, meek, uninterested and unsuitable lead marshal (and the shit meal deal). If I thought there was a chance of getting a refund I'd ask for it and this is the first time I've ever felt that way. Gear observation - young lad wearing one of these (that I 100% guarantee most of you see at least one of at every single game), was complaining all day because the wire from the quick release had broken through it's sheath and was poking straight in to his side. If I could get every new player to skip that phase and get a BULLE MLE to start off I'd be one happy man. Can't imagine how many of those end up in landfill after 2 games, shocking waste of plastic and of people's money.

Great gun that is in fantastic condition. I bought it very recently, however this was after my first game and I played with it in a DMR role yesterday, which I now realise is not for me. It came with a Suppressor, 6 Mid Cap magazines, 3 low cap magazines, 2 x 7.62 / Rifle mag pouches for molle or belt, 11.1v lipo battery, upgraded 6.02 inner barrel. I had a new high torque motor put in it, along with maple leaf hop rubber and nub. Includes 3 springs (1 cut) with give a range from 380fps to 345fps. One issue is the pistol grip is currently only held in by one screw as the other hole is threaded, I used it like this, but will need sorting. A grip with 4 holes would allow 3 screws which would be ample, the current grip only has 2. I am selling for the same price as I paid as I have spend £130 on it before using it, but the pistol grip issue needs remedying **Please note the scope is NOT included** Collection from Faversham Kent ideally, but happy to discuss postage

  21. If you have spare cylinder(s) or spare sector(s), i'd try if different ones have the same issue (in different combos with stock sector, and stock cylinder) Possibly just badly machined from factory? (cylinder port looks a bit scraggly on photo) It's Double Bell, so makes sense Sounds liike a new one to me too, but you solved it yourself with a little mod So, nice, good job

    120 or 30 rounds mags ???

Depends entirely on where you are playing and who you are playing against. Firstly. If you are using lower capacity mags. Up your ammo weight ( along with the required hop to make that work ) . A woodland game vs other people running ammo limits. Yes It can work. Unless it is a VERY VERY built up site, then it is painful trying to land a shot through the brush. A woodland game vs normal airsofters. You are going to get destroyed CQB vs ammo limits. Yes all day CQB vs normal airsofters. You are going to get destroyed. I spent Friday running around with 5 x 40 round MP7 mags at at Pistols and Shotguns day. Great times. I would not do the same event vs the normal players all running mids and highcaps. Single fire or not. The one kill you get will be satisfying. The rest of the time. You will be suppressed and then dunked on.

I have a few to many pistols to fit into my new storage cases so need to shift a few that I don't use. I bought this as I really like the P80 style frames (I have them on over half of my glocks) and like the option of the RDS mounting, but have found out I really prefer good ol' iron sites so I don't need so many RDS mountable options. The mag release and slide release have both been swapped out for extended gaurder replacements as I just prefer them over the standard versions. Pistol has been cleaned and perhaps 20 rounds put through it just to make sure it is working. PRODUCT INFORMATION Postage will be an additional £5 on top of price of the GBB, though collection is available in Edinburgh with prior agreement at no charge.

Hi Paul. I have two G36, in both installed AB++. Mosfets I left in battery department. AB ++ has long wires and not cause any problems for triger responds. I'm happy with this setup, and all my batteries have T connectors (deans). Later on I can add pictures if you need.

When little billy got home from school one day he found the family rooster dead in the front yard.Rigor mortis had set in and it was flat on its back with its legs in the air. When his Dad came home Billy said, "Dad our roosters dead and his legs are sticking in the air. Why are his legs sticking in the air?" His father thinking quickly said, "Son, that's so God can reach down from the clouds and lift the rooster straight up to heaven." "Gee Dad that's great," said little Billy. A few days later, when Dad came home from work, Billy rushed out to meet him yelling, "Dad, Dad we almost lost Mom today!" "What do you mean?" said Dad. "Well Dad, I got home from school early today and went up to your bedroom and there was Mom flat on her back with her legs in the air screaming, "Jesus I'm coming, I'm coming" If it hadn't been for Uncle George holding her down we'd have lost her for sure.

i did wonder how much there was to the ol' "it's a tokyo marui" argument he'd trot out every time someone complained about the state of his pistol. the issue i have with the likes of km is that's the advertisement for the hobby the world is more likely to see, he has a responsibility to the hobby as a whole and has chosen to adopt a toxic attitude for his persona. the fact that cheating videos are more popular is sadly just human nature, no different to the floods of violence we enjoy seeing on tv, in movies or video games. the problem is that whilst yes, we all know fine well that cheating and conflict absolutely exist in this hobby, but at nowhere near the frequency these channels often show. i do agree, although it's a tricky one when so often airsoft arguments ultimately boil down to he said/she said with many sites not having the numbers or experience in staff to be able to tackle the problem head on. although that said, i'd wager the majority don't bother because they don't want to alienate paying customers (and by extension that customers freinds) if people can't/won't vote with their wallets and go elsewhere.

It's not airsofters that watch them though, it's people like my brother in law who have absolutely no intention of ever playing but think he's hilarious. Ladbible has a lot to answer for. A good few sites have banned "cheater exposed" type videos already and some have outright banned cameras. All because the YT algorithm pays out more to clickbait fuck-knuckles like KM than to anything "sensible".

Lol, that's brilliant, hopefully more sites will take notice & ban him on the basis that even if he hasn't played their sites, he clearly can't be trusted & therefore why take that chance 🤔. I'd happily see a blanket ban on filming on sites anyway, most of it is boring as fuck to watch, can't actually say I've ever seen anything that's ever made me want to go & play, & I'M PRO AIRSOFT, so it hardly inspires noobs in to the game, with the exception of codsofters who think scopes on guns really do show an "x" when you hit someone 🤣 #360NOSCOPEFTW😜

Good for them. From the thread, it looks like he's been giving 3J facials with an overpowered pistol - he's a compo claim waiting to happen, I can't see why any site reckons he's a net positive for them. Anywhere being used as a film set for his dramas doesn't give a stuff about their players, that's for sure.

  43. My first night game at Reforger last night, had an absolute blast. First thing about night games is that it all hits a bit different when you've already done a days work, I got there about 5:30 (half hour early!), and left at half past midnight, and this morning now I'm back at work I feel like I've gone 5 rounds with Mike Tyson. But in a good way. Humidity was very high for the first part of the evening and I sweated more than I ever have in a day game, but luckily it cooled down a bit and a breeze picked up once the sun had gone down. Was interesting trying to put into practice some of the tips I got on here, mixed with my own bright, and not so bright, ideas. First thing was that, yes, red filters on your gunlight are good for preserving your night vision, but not so useful if every other player is running very bright white lights... I'll be taking the filter off if I do it again. The little trick with the glowstick taped to the acog fibreoptic worked a charm, but I didn't seal it off as well as I could and there was some bleed through from the edges, which may have accounted for one or two of my deaths. Very glad I bought some Bolle Pilots to use rather than my usual mesh goggles, I would have struggled to see anything at all through mesh. I did try wearing my prescripition glasses under the Pilots but it was just far too humid for that and they steamed up completely before I'd even left the safezone. I had an idea to take some cheap cob stick lights and put them forward of our position to silhouette the enemy, but this was a bit of a miscalculation on my part; it just meant that the other team avoided that area completely, flanked us and shot me in the back. So I used them in the wrong way but the principle is sound, just use them to funnel movement rather than light people up per se. Identifying teammates was perhaps the trickiest thing - for the last game we decided on a call-and-response so that if you saw someone and weren't sure you could confirm if they were a teammate, with some attendant risk to yourself. I still had a shameful amount of teamkills over the whole evening though. The night itself was run very well, no dramas or misbehaviour at all, hit taking was good. We played some new and different games - one an equivalent of that 'wink murder' party game, we also did some 3v3 and 1v1 in the village killhouse, winner stayed on. Overall would definitely do it again, with the caveat that I had to leave work two hours early to get there and this may not always be possible, saturday night would probably be a better night for it.
