Looks like Patrolbase is taking a leaf from Dave at DCA's book on how to con *ahem* make money out of Airsofters... £1.4K for this: A suped-up Krytac. Doesn't even have the TM appeal. You could build/buy a very nice HPA setup for waaay less money. Then there's this - £1.2K for a Hi-Capa: I would expect either gun to be able a gnat's bollock at 100 paces for that kind of money.

On the six months and consumer rights. You are still able to complain to the seller and typically after this time products should be assessed as the value will have reduced over time so this may mean a partial refund or credit toward repair/replacement. How you prove you case is tricky. As has been said communicate with them in writing. If you believe you have a case suggest getting the AEG examined by a third party tech or returned to the manufacturer. Hopefully they will see you as serious and make you a counter offer. Another option is a consumer resolution service/ADR if they use one or Financial Ombudsmen. Money claim online (small claims court) isn’t hard but there are fees so you need to cost it out. For a budget RIF may not be worth it.

I do like a traditional styled M4 with carry handle and a handguard with covers on rather than exposed rails everywhere. @PinkGunloving that collection. You might need to enlarge the trigger hole in the receiver, otherwise the gearbox might not fit with that trigger (the pre travel adjustment bulges out of the gearbox).. Had to do it on my Specnas and King Arms PDW as the hole was too short, but you might not need it on your G&G.

Sites seem to go through “phases”. Often change or loss of key management, let’s be honest all airsoft sites are small operations, has a huge impact. Over time players/regulars grow up and move, looking for something else. This also changes the feel of the smaller “club” type game sites. I have memories of some great times at early very amateur sites where everyone was involved. Lots of fun but some horror stories too and I wouldn’t take my children to them if they were running now. Much as I might resent some developments there have been/are operators that needed a kick up the arse on basic safety and service.

Is the Velcro stitched or the sticky backed stuff ? If it’s the sticky then be aware when your playing the heat from your body will loosen the adhesive bond on to the fabric and I’m afraid it will come adrift .

My mate owns one and hasn't paid more than £35 per mag but I guess you do have to wait for stock. I don't disagree it probably would sell for 80% but I would just buy a new one myself at that point as you are taking risks second hand.

SixG Nub, stock bucking until it wears out. Upgrade nozzle return spring to 150%, and use a 370mm barrel, and .4-.45's. You will be grinning as I do at every skirmish.

My advice would be stay on this forum, use the classifieds here, check the trader history of anyone you're considering dealing with. That's how I do it and I've never had a bad transaction (well, one pistol was a little unwell, but not awful). Plus we're not a bad bunch of wankers, mostly.

Seen alot of wars unknown pistol c02 covered in black dimontys. there superglued on aint comeing off Tm Star thunder maul (ghost in the shell gun) in black and silver new never skirmished. For cqb It is the Japanese version not usa version.. all different is no orange tip the stamp on side is different also have full lengh clear riot sheld. And pink bfg.

Just noticed - they haven't even fitted a new gear set, they kept the Krytac OEM and replace the self-shimming spring on the spur gear with a spacer. I guess they are relying on the Warhead motor to 'upgrade' the RPS. I would also guess that it's using the OEM GB shell if using the stock gears. And they have a £6 SHS piston in a £1.4k gun and touting it as a big deal. Nothing wrong with SHS, but it doesn't fit the absurd price tag. The spec of this gun is, well, 'off' in my opinion. A real CTR stock....why? it just costs more and there plenty of decent clones - many would never know the difference. A mock silencer...why not a tracer unit? A set of BUIS that no one will use...why not a Vortex Crossfire? I think Patrolbase is trying to create their own version of Umbrella Armory. I get that Hi-capas can be ludicrously expensive things, but at this price point, I would want a full custom build where I get to specify every part, colour and finish. For the money, I would want something 100% unique to me, with a low likelihood of ever seeing another the same...anywhere. Here, they are just 'production' guns churned out en masse.

Genuinely expected them to be about £400-500 give or take after reading what they had to say about it being custom made...but 1400 quid for what is essentially the Krytac REC7 upper/lower/handguard set and a bunch of overly expensive PTS/Magpul shite on it. And while custom hi-capas can easily go for that price it's a total piss take for them to actually make something like that, the type of person to spend that much money on a custom built pistol is going to want something exactly the way they want it. Not £1200 worth of random CNC'd shite.

Well. First new kit brought in well over 7/8 years. Set myself up with what I’m going to try to narrow down to be a mid war marine impression. Long way removed from my usual Russian kits but fancied a change and something I’d not done before. Everything is repro for the time being and chances are I’ll just swap a pouch a month or there abouts until at least the webbing is original. Just need to get it dirty & add my own flair to it now
