  2. So I rocked the Tigerstripe at the weekend. Thus was a posed photo taken by a marshal in an area just off the safe zone. Mag empty, no battery in the gun. Quick question, how do people stop these kind of kneepads destroying the backs of their knees?

    Tell Us a Gag. Please!

A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables when a voice in the dark said, 'Jesus knows you're here.' He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more, he shook his head and continued. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard 'Jesus is watching you.' Startled, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. 'Did you say that?' he hissed at the parrot. 'Yes', the parrot confessed, then squawked, 'I'm just trying to warn you that he's watching you.' The burglar relaxed. 'Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?' 'Moses,' replied the bird. 'Moses?' the burglar laughed. 'What kind of people would name a bird Moses?' 'The kind of people who would name a Ridgeback Jesus.' 😹

  6. A 10 year old girl asks her mum "mummy, how was I born?" The mum smiled and replied, "once apon a time your daddy and me decided to plant a special little seed. Daddy planted it and every day I took care of it every day. After a while the seed grew more and more leaves and in a few months it grew into a beautiful healthy plant. So then we dried it out, smoked it and got so high we forgot to use a condom"

  7. This has been doing the rounds for a few weeks now, but I was sunning myself on an African island and couldn't be arsed to mention it! Invicta Airsoft have taken over an old ICI works in Kent. Boasts 3 main corridors, 120+ doors, 70+ rooms, 2 spiral staircases and 4 floors. Sounds like it might be a nightmare to manage, but it looks lovely and dark! Myself and 10+ others are signed up for the first public game on Wednesday the 22nd (Covid permitting). I'll be sure to dust off the old SE Tour Reviews for another outing. Tell Us a Gag. Please!

I bought couple of Christmas ties last week.Took one back today cause it was too tight. While I was there I had a moan about some shoe laces I bought there. They were long and strong but just far too loose. It's hard to get stuff that fits properly. 😉 Regards

    THE TM MWS thread

Yes, but you have to modify it a little with a file or dremel. On the other side to the picture there is a nub poking out, you need to file a section of it flush so it will sit in the lower of the gun. It will make sense when you try. Drum mags are for speedsofters and therefore, shit. Embrace the low ammo count.

  12. UKFOB and Ammodrop are due a big Novi order imminently although they are having some issues getting it through customs I hear. They won't sell anything too powerful either however you will struggle as Novi rifles don't come in 2 tone which you would nee dot buy as you won't have a UKARA to buy a realistic coloured rifle.

  15. I do appreciate PatrolBase's (apparent) honesty about their boneyard stock - they list more details than other retailers tend to. But I agree that they're dreaming about the prices. Unless it's something that's out of stock, that you absolutely must have, I can't see why you'd bother. It's also problematical for them to sell without return, refund or warranty. Consider if you received something described as "minor handling scuffs, otherwise OK" and it turned out to be rekt beyond redemption. What do?

  23. Forget the TMC stuff and get the FFI ones from JK Army. A little bit more money but WAY better quality https://shop.jkarmy.com/ffi-tiger-stripe-camo-gen3-combat-set-black-edition-2021-ver-g3-gen-3.html That's what I have, XL means XL too so they're what you might call "USA/EU" sizing (although to be fair I think I could have been a bit more honest with myself on the waist sizing).

  24. Yay for Tigerstripe! As for the kneepads, try crossing the straps over behind your knee. Or do what I did and get G3 style tigerstripe
    1 point
  25. Good camo 👍 My kneepads came from Wickes or Homebase, used for when I pulling an interior wall down etc... dirt cheap, and that's somewhat reflected in the quality of the straps which are quite weedy and thin and consequently can't cut off the blood supply to my lower legs, nor do the back of the knees any real damage So just for once, my policy of buying/using cheap shit seems to have paid off

    Looking to buy an ssg10

There is second hand sales section on this forum. For snipers power limits are often different site to site best bet is to check with the site your son intends to play at. I would do a forum search on the SSG10 many think there are better guns for less money.

  28. classified section is this way -> https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/ you're probably going to struggle selling as a package, yes it's convenient as a seller to chuck it all into one big box but you're going to be severly limiting yourself to finding someone who wants the entire combination. plenty of folk might want a new ak, but will have their own rigs, likewise plenty of folks might have an ak and want a rig, but not many folks want both at once.

  31. There are also several retailers that will sell anything to anyone, either with a £20 premium, or just in return for a box tick. It's really not a case of whether OP can get his hands on RIFs, more about whether it's a good idea.

  32. There are other defences other than UKARA that aren’t as highly recognised so getting a shop to accept is tricky. But in this case the dad should be going out there with him, there nothing stopping them buying guns used either is there until the 2 months/3x games is up? What a great excuse for a dad to be able to get out there and play toy solider for a few hours great bonding opportunities Roger might sound like he’s being a stickler above but he’s right…..even 18 yr olds with UKARA have a high % chance of being a nob trying to show off to his mates outside unfortunately, can’t imagine what younger lads would be like, I’ve no doubt the OP has his head on his shoulders but plenty won’t be

  35. Handy review. I find M14s to be deeply cool, but the shape of the stock and pistol grip on that doesn't look very good to my eyes. On the flip side, I talked to a guy running a full length M14 at my site, and he confirmed that is annoyingly long. I guess the CM032W would be my preference but it still doesn't look as awesome as the full length version

  37. poor sportsmanship all round there. used what you want play how you want to play. however i have never come across a gear snob running a stock TM its usually something overly upgraded (stupid rate of fire and running a ball hair below site limits) that breaks ever other game but in the end if that's how they want to spend their money all power to them. As always the golden rule of airsoft is don't be a dick.

  38. The legality: Selling to a parent on the understanding that it'll be (perfectly legally) gifted to you for airsoft use arguably satisfies the letter of the legislation, so, sure, ask your site. Also, there's no age limit on the defence for modification. A 13 year old can be gifted an IF and modify it into a RIF for airsoft use. The intent: What Parliament probably intended was to keep RIFs out of the hands of under-18s, as it's an offence to sell any imitation firearm, realistic or otherwise, to someone under 18, or for someone under 18 to purchase one. However, the law is what they wrote, not what they might have written, so gifting and modification remain legal. However to the however, I'm not entirely comfortable with 13 year olds possessing RIFs, even legally, and even regular players who already own IFs and who make responsible sounds. I'm thinking of the thread on Facebook with a brass-necked lad who just openly begged strange men to buy him a RIF for airsoft use. Most folk quite rightly told him to do one, but a few "u can't tel me wut 2 do" contrarians actually clubbed together and bought him one, for no reason that I could see other than to wind up the folk who predicted it wouldn't end well. And of course, his next posts were pictures of himself posing with his new assault-style toy on his roof, and a video of him capping off mags with his mates in what was clearly a public field backing onto housing. He did eventually take them down after even his sugar daddies facepalmed.

  41. I've never looked at TMs principally because they are far and away beyond my budget. For me one of the thrills of airsoft is how much fun you can have without needing to spend massive amounts. Of course, wanting to spend massive amounts is a very different thing... For me, light weight wins every time, so it's plastic for me. Not at all fussed by recoil. Did try a GBB Glock once a few years ago, was fun but wouldn't go out my way to get one. Yes, gear snobs can look down at me if they so desire with my crappy Lancer Tactical M4 and my UAR. What is it thats said about APS, "A Piece of Shit"? Well to me they're great fun, work perfectly and cost me hardly anything. Most of all, I'm happy with what I've got. And they do the same job of lobbing plastic BBs at sub-350fps as something five times the price. And if folk want to blow 500 quid or whatever it is on a TM, fair play to them. Personally, I'll still hanker after a sub-£150 CSI XR-5 and perhaps an affordable non-CO2 Desert Eagle. As far as I'm concerned I'd never own another gnu if I had both of those.

    Tell Us a Gag. Please!

Bloke goes in to a pub. Orders a beer and sits quietly drinking it. After a while he starts feeling peckish and notices the bar snacks and food menu. So he goes up to the bar, asks for a menu off the bar maid who hands him a menu. After reading the menu, Cheese rolls £1, Ham Rolls £1.50, Cheese and ham roll £2, sausage rolls £1 and hand shandy's £5... So the guy calls the bar maid over and he asks her, "Are you the person that give out the hand shandy's" and she replied "Why yes, I am" fluttering her eyes at the guy... He replies "Good... Wash your hands I want a cheese roll..."
