He succeeded though You're still here being toxic while calling us toxic.. Also it's the internet mate, if someone calls you a twat on a forum and you take it personally, you're fucking sad.6 points -
Definite cnut, & he knows it, as he mentions "upsetting a few people" at the start of the vid. On the plus side, he's only any good at hitting players that wander about with their head up their arse, if he plays against anyone with any skill, he'll run dry in 1.3 seconds & then get picked off with ease. Although I suspect hell edit those bits out of his video, like every other YouTube wanker, I mean warrior 😏5 points

Recently Acquired Two 'Dream' Guns!
Noddy45 and 4 others reacted to TheFriendlyBro for a topic
Resident Evil & cool ass weaponry have always gone hand in hand. And now I've finally got MY hands on both the Lightning Hawk from the Resident Evil 2 Remake & the Albert W. Model 01P from Resident Evil 7! I've waited years to get these and I'm so happy to finally have these in my hands. I know it might seem a bit silly to get this excited over two Tokyo Marui guns which will never see the field but I couldn't be happier at the moment. Took some, what I think anyway, decent pictures to celebrate! For now though, racking the slides a million time will keep my entertained.5 points -

I want to comment but i think it would be considered toxic, But sod it i will, completely agree with @Alimcd people can't handle criticism. If you don't like what's being said either deal with it or don't read it. And if members of this board are so toxic i would also suggested reading through this entire forum to see how many people they have helped with information and knowledge. To me that is far from toxic.3 points -

I feel like “Toxic” has become the go to word for a generation who don’t know how to handle criticism or confrontation nor have they developed the interpersonal skills to simply hold a differing opinion on a matter without feeling the need to “out” the other party as wrong. I for one am offended and demand this is stopped now. Macks is part of the rich cultural tapestry of AFUK and this thinly veiled attack is no less than an assault on an institution3 points -

Me personally I think it comes down to you’ve got a lot of well established players on here and a good few are of an older age group than you’ll normally find on Facebook groups/forums/etc so a phrase I definitely don’t hear being used that much any more applies to an awful lot of us on here , ‘piss taker’ there is a LOT of piss taking on here (why I like this one)but I’m sorry to say these days there’s also a lot of people who just can’t handle it . Time and time again I see or hear someone moaning and complaining about being offended/bullied/victimised/picked on etc the list goes on and on , I look to see the cause and all I can see is what to me is just banter , piss taking or man talk . I know I’m a dinosaur (safe to say there’s more here than Jurassic park !) but it’s not personal it’s just piss taking , simple as that and some people REALLY do need to lighten up . so endeth the sermon .😇2 points -

The bit sticking up on the top of the receiver is a recoil stop block. It's purpose is to stop the sight mount slipping under recoil so yes it is (more or less) to help you align your scope mount. I think the problem here is with what you think is the front of the mount is actually the back. The extension part is the front.2 points

New Player - Reliable M4
Monkman and one other reacted to Speedbird_666 for a topic
The issue is that there are so many solid M4's out there, that it's actually easier to compile a list of manufacturers/product lines to not buy. Also, you don't mention your budget. So I will tell you a few of brands that I would personally avoid: - VFC: look great externally but are made of cheese internally. - Ares: Funky electronics (that will do 3rd burst) but are made of cheese internally. - KWA: Apparently are reasonable guns, but proprietary parts can be a ball ache for upgrades. - Krytac: See KWA - SRC: Nasty - Specna Edge**: Looks ok externally (and loads of rail/length choices), but are wank internally. Once re-shimmed, greased and a fair few parts switched out, will work ok until the gearbox shell breaks because...you guessed it... it's made of cheese. Again, this is my personal avoid list - I'm sure the others will disagree. **Note, my criticism of Specna is leveled only at the Edge Series. The 'Core' and 'One' series are supposed to be reasonably decent as they have (according to rumour) different OEMs.2 points -

If you are going down the G&G Combat Machine route, these are better value for money in the sales - same gun internally, just different externals. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/g-and-g-armament-combat-machine-cm16-r8-l?pv=5063 https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/g-and-g-armament-cm15-kr-apr-airsoft-aeg?pv=13331 Shame you weren't a couple days earlier, Patrolbase were selling Combat Machines for under £100.1 point -
Things change, so I think it makes good sense to ask. This forum would also go completely dead if you were only allowed to ask new questions. To adjust power, there are several options. RA-tech and G&P both make a valve that can be adjusted (npas) and angry gun makes a complete nozzle, that was at least 3 options. Nozzle spring do something if it breaks why spend money without its broken? and if it breaks then you will often just be able to bend it again. lift .32g just put something hard into your nub and it will be able to lift them, I use a piece of hard "wire" copper part. Then it will be able to lift fine, I also use ML hopup rubber´, but it is not necessary to lift .32g1 point

you mean this convo? lets run through it shall we: original callout, just mentioning the price is expensive for what it is, which isn't unknown for this particular seller who often will link to websites in his own ads that are selling the same gun for cheaper than his price. bit of side banter playing devils advocate and defending the pricing (part of the open debate this thread is meant to have) both countering the points raised by albiscuit, again open debate and presented in a non-offensive manner. and this is the one i'm guessing you're meaning, where it is theorised (but not explicitly stated) that the gun was bought cheaper than it's being sold for, whilst also stating that there's no rule against this practice. granted there's an expression of distaste for the practice of acting as a trader via the forums, which is an opinion that can be argued to be entirely reasonable, although in this case stated with the help of memes in the banter-laden fashion that is common to this thread. i seem to be missing the bit where the toxic bullying happened?1 point -
This has been covered a number of times and I am not going to repeat info that is clearly here. Its not shaming its just pointing out ads we feel are misleading or overpriced so others are more in tuned to what is a good price or do not get taken for a ride. More than once the seller has taken on board advice and reduced prices or changed descriptions etc...1 point

Not exactly for your purposes, the following is a list of approved hydro test centres. Many are dive shops, and as they test cylinders may provide fills (There will be other dive shops etc that can handle fills and may handle cylinders for testing but will operate as middle men with test centres) https://www.sita.org.uk/idest/idest_members.php1 point

New CQB Site in Kent
PureSilver reacted to MrWilson for a topic
Hey bud, sorry for the confusion. I have been working non-stop at work and have left the day to day to the other owner while I have projects at work. I'll give you a run down. Hextable School: From what we can tell its still empty. The council was all up for it and then pulled away last minute with no explanation. We reached out to an MP to help us out with this as we spent some money on it too. But when it came to light we wanted to play with toy "guns" in a school they just ran away. Sheppey school was sold to developers. Although we was promised use of it until Hextable was ready. We learnt that doing business with any form of government was a no go. Chathams Mount Battern house was a sure thing until it wasnt. They said yes. We said yes. We paid some fees but didnt sign anything. Council then said no we are buying it CPO (compulsary purchase order) We lost all our money back to square one. Now the new site. Its huge but its in a state, been abandoned now for 8 years or so we have agreed our terms with the private owner and we have had contractors in since the begining of Covid work was put on hold during lockdown for obvious reasons and only started back up again early August. We have had to do the following: (when we have the money to fund it) New airconditioning (due to its size and build it must have these for airflow) Removed mould from all the walls, replaced all carpets/flooring due to dampness and replaced all electrics that were effect Installed new lights (limited) Installed Fire escape measures (required by law) We are now on the final contractor to get working toilets working. This has led onto needing council approval to tear up the road as the pipes are sealed on the main road. This is currently ongoing and we are waiting road closure approval. (again no expert on the process of this and its with the contractor) Once the toilets are all working we will be going in to setup the site at that time we have several live feed webcams across the building streamed to the website. Snazzy. I've been asked why we are using contractors and not doing it ourselves. Well two reasons. One: is because I/we dont have that type of expertise and we want to be above legal board. Two: the building owners insisted we use approved contractors to do the work for insurance reasons. We've said it before but this is 100%. Papers are signed money is exchanging hands there is very little that can be done to stop it unless the owners pull the plug but even then they need to give us x amount of months. Cant wait to share more with you all. Platoon Stores in Rochester went and visited it with us on our last visit and they loved it. They will be providing on the onsite shop/rentals as they do at other sites across Kent. Again sorry to mess you all around but we are trying our hardest on getting this up and running asap we are aiming for October/November at the latest.1 point
