Yes good stuff! This is gonna be my first winter with so I cant serve with comprehensive experiences but faster and the engaging points better if you gonna invest I recommend the AngryGun high speed Buffer to balance the less recoil.

Fun day with my nephew, if somewhat technically gruelling. One AEG was misfeeding and DOA, one packed in during the day, so he ended up with the venerable CYMA M4 (still going strong) and pistol and I was down to a pump action shotgun. He also lost a pistol mag and dropped another and broke the feed lips, but stuff happens. Hopefully a bit less of a gear grinder next weekend.

Nuprol 🤢☠️ Looks like you prob just need a nozzle and some quality ammo. It wouldn’t hurt to put a fresh bucking in. They are dead easy to work on, only gets a little taxing when you dive in the trigger box, that’s if you can get it out 😂

I had really bad luck today. Woke up at 5 AM (slept 2 hours because reasons), met with my teammates and we drove 2 hours near Genoa for a "huge" game with all the clubs from the region. Super hyped, I took 5 guns with me: Specna M4, Ares Honey Badger, Ares Striker, Mk23 and AAP01. We arrive at the site, get dressed and line up for temperature test and chrono. 34.5° body temperature, apparently I'm a zombie or something but whatever. I notice something's off: the chrono the hosting team was using is an absolute piece of inaccurate shit. Tested the Striker: 1 reading at 1.00J, not allowed.. Shit, okay, Specna next. Same, 1 reading at 1.03J, not allowed. I know for sure that they both are well within the 1J limit, but heh, let's try the Amoeba, 0.96J.. Then my teammate who has a stock TM HC M4, 1st 5 readings were between 1 and 0.95J, he passed (lmao). At this point I'm getting tilted, I offer to use my chrono instead but they refuse. FINE, let's play with the honey badger. Pistols, though, weren't chronoed and I was literally the only one not running CO2. I'll let you guess how many people ended up bleeding because of that. We are divided in two large teams, each team has a base and a flag to defend, if one team snags the enemy flag, brings it back to its base and holds it for 20 minutes while still having its own flag, that team wins. Terrain is rough, steep climb for us to get to their base while the enemy has all the advantage in this world (guess where the hosting team was? Lol). Back to us, the game starts, I spot a column of reds who are trying to flank us, I switch to full, pull the trigger and suddenly hear the horrifying sound of a metal rack being chewed to shit. Cool, I get hit, go back to our base, ditch the rifle and spend the rest of the day sniping people with a mk23, with the AAP for close up full auto bukkakes.. Throughout the day I only managed to get a handful of kills, mostly because the people I shot with the mk23 (bar one, who called the hit on a clearly dry magazine), since they didn't hear gearbox winding or piston slapping, decided to NOT call those hits, despite visibly flinching when hit. We eventually manage to steal the enemy flag but the game ends right after. Overall it could have been a really fun day if they had a good chrono. Plugged the battery back in the specna, it clocks in at 95 m/s on 0.2s consistently 😕

I've ran mine for about 3000 rounds now and just had my first problem with it. The top portion where the gas key would be on an actual AR snapped clean in half whilst firing, causing no additional damage luckily. AG told me that this is a common fault with older batches, but they've resolved it now by changing the material. Only advice would be to keep AG and TM parts separate, some of the springs are different lengths and the fitment of things isn't very good between the two.

Picked up a cybergun 249 because it was going very cheap and promptly added a ton of crap onto it XD. Its honestly pretty ok for what I paid even if it is a plastic body. Ditched the bipod straight away though because it was total garbage and replaced it with a spare harris. Unfortunately the small cloth 249 box mags are hard to find and very expensive right now so I just went with an m4 sound control drum mag for the moment .

For winter; all stock parts propane dry fresh (read supple) piston lid seal Winter upgrade; npas lighter weight bolt Aim to keep pressure drop to a minimum, so don’t try for silly FPS with an Npas, it only exacerbates cool down. If your playing assault role there is no need for more than 1j. Keep moisture away, minimum lube.

AG fit and finish seems variable (I am being nice about this) At a minimum swap the piston head (AG one swells and jams up!) and put a dab of super glue on the end of the valve grub screw so if it does unscrew you won't accidentally fire t at someone! Mine has never lost adjustment...YMMV. I would go for the Dynamic Precision bolt and either the TM or DP internals (DP have better springs in the nozzle, probably easier to buy it as a whole kit)

Yeah towards the stock end for applying hop and towards the barrel for reducing..... I had to etch a little arrow on the inside of the receiver to remind me 😂

It will likely get worse... armour and such i will eventually get if this community keeps these games going. Thinking mish mash armour and possibly some home made cloth and glue armour. Going to try a face mask out of it... Updates. Cut stock to length but need yo shape it and fill so I dont cut my hand off... Playing with flash hider as the original was glued and it has no ccw so cut up a spare m4 one and plan to wrap it in a cut up tin can... scope done for now. Removed all glass and taped it up and inserted pins as a form of crosshair that I likely won't use. But looks the part. May rig some form of iron sight.

I think I must of tried every lube on the market now, most stuff is decent enough but my preferred is SuperLube synthetic for gears and SuperLube with silicon for the cylinder, piston head and nozzle, that stuff creates the weirdest of surfaces - actually feels horrible on the fingers

I had this issue. Wear Sawfly's and kept having sweat on the inside of glasses. I now use a headband, balaclava and a helmet liner all to prevent it. It seems to have worked for me but need to change the headband and balacava in each break.

I don't think it should be, according to the plain wording of the current law. There is no chance that people (or extended households) are staying 2m apart at all times once "game on" is shouted. Well, that's where opinions can vary. Exactly the same applies to (ironically enough ) Biohazard up here, yet I'm playing tomorrow. I wouldn't blame anyone for not playing at the moment. But on the other hand, I'm not going to see your granny after playing, so please don't judge me either. We'll all have to just muddle through this as best we can.

Take one £63 plastic fantastic Cyma AK47 And with some real wood parts and other spares parts bought from the forums a bit of silver paint and some wet&dry it can be changed , for around the 100 mark in total I think it looks a bit better than it did . Hope you agree .

i think we have a winner for the cardinal airsoft sin right there.... i must admit, in general at least, there seems to be much much less of this sort of thing (including safe zoen theivery etc) in airsoft than i'd have expected. although i'm still one of those everything is on me or locked in the car types of players. i sincerely hope that fella finds his supply of sites extinguished and your mates gun is ok, although it seems to have taken the abuse rather well i'd still suggest getting it looked at.

I couldn't find the right magazines to go with my SCAR H DMR build so I'm making my own. The internals have been scavenged from some old PTS 80 round mid caps I have lying around.

I've watch too many videos on YouTube about airsoft for too many years. Finally got my 1st ak21 with a decent sight on it, only one battery tho and I'm starting to read that I could do with more and a better charger lol got my bbs and my carry case but i dont have any form of face gard yet. I am the only person I know that has any interest in airsoft and I just cant bring myself to go on my own to a airsoft site near me (Rotherham/Sheffield) It's a bit of a cringe to say all this but I need some airsoft friends lol. I know covid has messed everything up for everyone so I'd more then likely attend once it's all calmed down. But getting to know some people before I attended would help massively. I made a thread a few days ago about going to my first game solo. Depending on how well (hungover) I feel on Saturday morning, I may end up going by myself. I joined a running club a few years ago and attended that by myself, I was nervous at first but everyone was there for the same reason. To run and have a natter and eat biscuits afterwards. Same with the classic mini scene that I used to be a bit more involved in. I went to meets by myself, made friends and joined a club because we all had that one interest in common. I'm sure the same will go with Airsoft! It's not as if your going to turn up by yourself and someone's going to try and shoot yo........

Well today I used one of few remaining leave days. So was intent on having a great time, which it was...right up to about 1hr into the afternoon game. Hit a spikey tree stump, my left knee went one way and the rest of me went the other way...hit the floor like a sack of shit. Marshall was gonna call the game, but I told him not to....didn't want to ruin the flow of the game as we were winning. After about 20mins of trying to see if it would be ok, I decided to continue playing, but only by hobbling everywhere...determined not to waste the day. Just got home and I have a massive lump (The size of a tennis ball) on the side of my kneecap...a little worried as the swelling is enormous. Will see what it's like tomorrow. It was a great day, weather was beautiful and gameplay and sportsmanship was pretty good. Even got given a AK74 GBBR with x3 leaky gas mags as a gift from a mate, who I helped out getting him a few rifs.

What the shit? If it happened to me I would have knocked him out cold on the spot. Why are people such cunts? I get putting shit in your mate's barrel/unplug batteries/disconnect and hide mags for banter, but this is just a wee bit too much Hope he's banned from the site (and every site in his area).
