This isn't a court of law. If Samurai is right that their special chum is still playing there, then Dogtag can get burned, banned and otherwise put out of business as far as I'm concerned. "Dogtag airsoft: where clitflickers can stomp on your guns, and we don't give a toss."3 points

Yeah, just seen him named and shamed on Reddit. I'm sure we won't, but please can we avoid outing him on here please. There's not even 100% proof the named chap is the guy in the video yet.3 points -

Honestly fuck Facebook at this point. Someone asked about putting CO2 mags in a TM FN57 and I commented this. Not an unreasonable response. Apparently that was considered bullying and my comment got deleted and I got barred from posting or commenting on anything for 24hrs.2 points -

There are only 2 decent groups on facebook. Sniperworks and the MK23 community. Everything else is shit (I'm in a few sniper/specna/TM GBB/G&G ARP groups btw).2 points

You should have got a parts diagram with the pistol that should give you some idea. To me it looks like a simple philips screw inside, take out the silver arm, and it should come off. Looks like a spring and ball-bearing in there as well, so just be careful they don't ping-fuckit into oblivion.2 points

Reglaze My Spex - Lens Inserts
Spartan873 reacted to Brophy for a topic
For those unfortunate enough to require glasses for airsoft and don't particularly want to wear your glasses under goggles or wear contacts, I came across these guys with 5 star reviews on google and 4.9 on trustpilot, I thought I'd give them a go for you. https://www.reglazemyspex.com/ I'm short sighted and require some prescription lens so everything at long distance isnt blurry and I dont get a migraine from squinting the f out my face. I brought a pair of nuprol lens insert eye pro from here: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/nuprol-battle-pro-eye-protective-airsoft-glasses?fv=7711 Firstly I emailed their support and asked them if its something they accommodate, friendly guy came back to me and said it was fine and they would be classed as full rim lens (cheapest). I'm honestly shocked by the cost of the lens and the quick turn around. I picked the most basic package which was anti scratch distance lens at £6.99 but with postage came to £11.69. I ordered it on Wednesday and was emailed all the usual confirmation etc and a member of staff emailed me a royal mail delivery label, which was for 48 hour tracked delivery, so boxed it up, put the label on it and handed it into the post office the same day. They received the insert on Friday and within a few hours of receiving it, I had confirmation come through that the order was complete and was reshipped out on 48 hour tracked delivery again. I received the lens today with a thank you card and two cadbury chocolate éclairs! Tried the lens out and checked my long distance and could see everything just like if i was wearing my specs. Hopefully the service these guys provide stay top notch and you guys can save a bit of that cash for extra "toys" 😂 P.S. I don't know if the site admins want to reach out to them but they did say they was open to discounts for members of clubs, online communities etc. Here's the pics.1 point -

If I was capable I would edit this video to play with “tiptoe through the tulips” by tiny Tim just for my own amusement. but I can’t so I won’t . tried to watch this from another view point to give the guy in the vid the benefit of being a f*ckwit, but I don’t see any reason for the Gillian taylforth level of quality for the justification of his behaviour, just looks intentional to me1 point -

I'm assuming the OP wants to convert his ARP9 to an ARP556 so if the magwell placement is OK then it might work but I'd have thought it would need an ARP556 lower to be spot on. I foresee feeding issues a-go-go!1 point

Agreed, and I wish the site had been given some more time to handle it before it went public. In the end, all that actually matters is that whoever it was is identified and given the heave-ho. That can be done by site owners, it doesn't have to be a public witch hunt.1 point -

I've got the cm125s which is the usp style with lipo and mosfet pre installed. I think its the only aep which is almost 1:1 scale. It cost me £50 from Taiwangun and suits my specific requirements for a pistol perfectly. However i literally only use my pistol for room clearing or I might pull it if I know combat wikl take place at less than 10 metres. As mentioned earlier in the thread they are pretty useless over 20m so bear that in mind. The usp is a good choice for me because you can use any cheap holster due to the mag catch being built into the trigger guard. The cyma aeps are great for a budget sidearm, but don't expect breathtaking performance. They work very well for a specific role. If you have any other questions about them I'd be happy to try and help1 point

I think we're heading for a perfect storm of lack of assistance from the government with tightening of restrictions that will see a lot of jobs and businesses screwed. I lost my job through this and it's taken nearly 3 months to find something else.1 point -
It's indoor sites that are most at risk, which is why I Buzz Killingtoned the Z-Mart thread with a note about the rates bill for it. They can be eye watering, and you'd really have to run as a proper regular business to cover the costs, rather than 20 lads every fortnight. I really hope they've done the sums, although it seems like they know what they're doing.1 point

give it time... player restriction and any further restrictions will start tto bite them soon. govt aid has held them together so far but that wont go much further. saying that my local has been continuing to take over more sites to add to its portfolio...1 point

My oldest rif my Tommy. King Arms one do metal with plastic effect wood. I do intend to start work soon on making real wood furniture for both period and post apoc that will be interchangeable. May pick up an American helm at some point as seen a few really cheap in antique shops. Then again I'm more likely to end up captain America than doing realism so who knows...1 point

Due to health issues, I'm having to give up airsoft. Much as I love it, I just can't do it anymore as all the local sites are to hilly/steep for my leg issues. Had this for only a few weeks, but with the decision to stop doing airsoft, it's only ever seen one game, maybe three mags total run through it. £140 collected from Plymouth. £145 posted.£145
