Real milsim would be three days of harbouring up, 30 minutes contact and an afternoon cleaning weapons while the CQMS drinks tea.5 points -
I think sidearm is a personal choice as most pistols will perform about the same. Most TM pistols anyway, I won't consider getting any pistol that isn't TM. Even my 1911 with its tiny magazines can function in the winter, though I will generally fall back to my p226 in winter because the mags are larger so they can hold more gas. And I use my sidearms all the time because I have a lovely 30m radius of "can't use my rifle"3 points

Having been to a LOT of Gunman events, I can categorically state that Josh does not advertise or run MilSims. He runs FilmSims. And they are excellent. If you want a halfway house between a normal skirmish and something more serious then I would seriously consider one of his themed games. If Cold War or Vietnam arent your bag there is an ongoing 90s themed game that should scratch all of your Ops/NATO/SF itch. Personally, having attended all of his events, the Cold War scene is the best by far but it isn't everyone cup of char. If you want to know more PM me.3 points -
😂 reading that in his voice. Been stuck on camp basically. Legally I've always been allowed to travel between home and the block but my dad's very old and been super ill (to put it lightly) until not too long ago so I sat in the block losing my mind gradually until the numbers of cases dropped right back down. Yeah I got sick of having a giant stack of specific kydex holsters and never having the right gun/light/colour combo I wanted. They were all very nice and gucci but at the time I bought them there weren't any companies who built kydex around the specific models of airsoft guns (especially Glocks) so fitment often wasn't *quite* right. Having a generic CB coloured one for no-light mounting that works with pretty much all outdoor loadouts and a grey lighted one for anything indoors takes up a ton less space. I've not liked BH as a company for many years, went off SERPAs long ago, but I think they've turned things around a little. My expectations quality wise were very low but they're fairly solid as it turns out. Wouldn't take one to war because the mech looks like it'll jam with sand/mud/stones same as SERPAs do but for bb wars where it's fun to own a range of different models (and financially viable to do so) they sure fit the bill, even better than the offerings from SureFire and S&S actually.2 points

cqb sites i'm inferring indoors, so temperature is much less of a concern. which eliminates any reason to look at co2 because it's a lot of hassle just for those few months of winter. as tackle says the tm hicapa is very much the king of this performance category.2 points -

Hi, ALL! 👋 I had a quick check in the search area, didn’t find anything on them.... So I recently bought this model, in lockdown, ordered it on 29th May, turned up on the 2nd June! Did a video on it, you can find it in the Media Topic. 🔫👍 My first purchase from them, I’m impressed and will consider buying from them in the future! 🤔 Here’s a few pics and hope this helps for anyone else looking for a good deal or to compare prices? 🔫💷😎👍 https://www.onlyairsoft.com/ 💷GAMBLE💷1 point

Trigger pull is nice enough tbh, feels proper, just the sear wears out bad. The barrel bushing is normally the first victim, it just tears the front off it.1 point -

Not come across that myself although it wouldn't surprise me with how hard it recoils. It's a really heavy trigger pull too so again without steel components in all the right places I'm not surprised at all by that1 point -

not gonna lie whilst the externals are very nice the ones i've dealt with don't half have a nasty habit of beating themselves to death and/or wearing out trigger components. that's assuming the mags don't give out first.1 point -

Co2 1911: KWC. Great build quality and finish, epic recoil and options for upgrades later on. If you don't mind no trades you can get them for around £100. Green gas: basically any TM. Lightweight slide and great design means unbeatable gas efficiency. The Glocks and hi Capas have the best range of aftermarket parts of any Airsoft pistol1 point -

A specna arms m4 variant and an army armament g36 gas blowback rifle with 2 mags. Both guns were boneyard. Specna has a cracked gearbox case but otherwise seems fine. R36 seems to run perfectly other than a slightly finnicky bolt catch. Not bad at £75 for a gbbr with 2 mags.1 point -

Custom Camo
Shootin Aces reacted to TheFull9 for a topic
Hate to say it but if it's this camo I highly doubt he has access to it. People think there's this magic camo fabric store out there with huge rolls of every pattern under the sun but the reality is far from that. Not saying you shouldn't ask obviously I could be wrong, but just being realistic. Of course you can turn internet PI and dig around to try and find the material, but chances it's even online let alone will come up top of a google search are slim. The alternative is vajra tactical, but you'd need a super clear flat digital image for them to print from and to be prepared to spend money to allow them to tune and refine the pattern and colourway through multiple iterations i.e. foot the R&D bill and even then their fabric is super thin. Shame though cause it's a nice pattern, reminds me of tigerstripe in AOR2 colours.1 point -

not sure on the fnx hasn't been out as long ,not seen many posts or chat regarding problems with the fnx. I haven't seen many on the hk45 . There's the odd post I see people with issues with the hk45 over time. Not many and no common theme with issues. Many cases so called "upgrades" causing issues more than actual mechanical breakage/issues with with the oem pistol. I imagine the fnx will be much the same. I ditched the my capas 2-3 years go having seen friends hk45s fair so well.1 point

nothing. there's no limit to how "upgraded" a gun is and the number of expensive parts in a gun isn't a guarantee of performance. therefore the term means whatever the person selling it thinks it means.1 point -
