Latest haul.

I've been keeping myself busy with a photoshoot given current circumstances, so prepare for this to be a fairly long post! Almost all of my kit, and all my guns, layed out; I set everything up into little themed groups, and took a few artsy shots of each. WWII Kit: SAS: MTP: Sorry for the long post! Finally picked up a TM MK46 Mod 0. Bit of fettling done prior to picking this up today. Added a few external bits I picked up over the past few months: Zenitco Klesch 2 Dual IR / LED Zenitco Perst 4 PEQ Zenitco brightness adjustment pads FMA Gas pedal G&G rechargeable tracer unit Pulsar LRF Trail XP50 Standard Marui foregrip Thing is an absolute beast, will be running bare bones during the day / full up for night action

Fed up of cz mags falling out of pouches? Fear no more. Designed to latch onto the cords of pouches that have them: Just need to make grips of the same colour to match. Also, further refined my amplifier to the point where you can't even tell if it's a 3d print anymore:

Haven't tried it yet but got the quake 8. Would of liked a trmr but we know that won't happen. Looking forward to using it

We have made a few more measurements. A 330mm Inner Barrel would be the longest length barrel we could go to. With an AK style hop unit inside we will have about 195mm of length for a gearbox without extending the buttpad. We surmised that a Real Sword T97 Gearbox, a V6 P90 gearbox and believe or not a V1 TM Famas gearbox would be the best candidates. Because of the magwell we had to strike the T97 gearbox from the list because the motor cage will be in the way. The V6 is shorter then the V1, but too wide where the motor is to fit in the body, we would either need to turn the motor and thin out the motorcage; or mill out part of the body a bit, which is already looking a bit thin around there. The V1 is slightly longer then the V6, but thinner all the way down. We may have a slight impeding with the mags on the gearbox but we'll have to see. Luckily I have a spare V1 Famas Gearbox so that could keep costs down. So we may be going down the V1 TM Famas Gearbox route! Though we wont completely take the V6 off the drawing board as they are a much easier gearbox to work with and get parts.

Some investigatory work has been completed. My tech has said that the gearbox is pretty much all proprietary, Gears, Air seal components etc. The only things we can do in its current guise is to reshim, mosfet, New O-Rings, new barrel and bucking. It would be possible to change the hop unit to something more standard if we re-arrange. Most likely an AK unit as they are quite small and the BB tube will be in the right place. We might be able to put in a V6 gearbox or even a Real Sword T97 gearbox with a little rearranging. We just need to get some gearbox dimensions and will look further into it.

Been dipping a toe into DIY teching, tried spraying for the first time. G&G SOC M14 tiger stripe attempt #1. I'll install the longer barrel group once I get the gearbox sorted out, using the short SOC barrel assembly here to see how the stock looks with everything installed.

Not a misheard issue (sorry), but "Know what I mean?" really rattles my cage. Guy outside my work recently, chatting with his colleague and adding "know I mean?" to the end of every damn sentence - and sometimes even at the start of them. Really had to bite my lip. Almost turned to him and said: "Yes, I think your mate here and everyone else is very fucking clear about what you mean - it's not that complicated!" Honestly, getting old is a terrible thing. My patience is waning, lads 😐

Airsoft projects have had to be put on hold for me as I'm becoming a dad in 2 weeks. Help a guy out and share all your projects to help with the withdrawal symptoms 😂
