The M249 needs some TLC so I have given myself a project to do over the Christmas Break. We have: Bullgear CNC Hop Up ZCI 6.02 tight bore barrel Prometheus Purple Bucking Prometheus Flat Hop Nub Gate Nano ASR MOSFET High Speed Gears Nuprol High Torque Motor gearbox bushings Aluminium Piston and Piston head Aluminium Cylinder head Sorbothane piston pad 5.56mm Dummy Rounds I am looking to increase the ROF and also make it more reliable as it has been a pain in the ass up until now. I also treated the new MWS John Wick build to some keymod Rail sections and a Magpul clone sling mount. And finally I managed to get a boonie that actually fits my unfeasibly large nogin.3 points

It'd be less fair if the first few games were spoilt for everyone by stalemates due to players abusing full auto. End of the day even semi only is credible, nothing to stop players spamming the trigger & even the most basic AEG can manage 4 shots a second on semi, so it's no hardship .2 points

When watching the video, even at 5m, you can see the BBs dropping already as if there is no hop what so ever. I put it down that he hadn't adjusted it properly but after what @Wo1f posted it looks like it is a common issue with them. I have a Revolver with no hop up and that fires a better trajectory than this does. Got to love the auto translate on this video though!!!2 points -

Sold most of my gear to help raise money for a new bike, really slimmed it down. Just have an evo and a couple of grenades and a claymore. I regret nothing.2 points -

Totally agree. Let's see how it pans out and as a fellow MWS owner, I hope that TM have upheld their high standards in this.1 point

It appears to be getting slated online. 30m range. Having to lob to get near 50m apparently. I donβt think that split inner barrel was a good idea.1 point

When doing a field repair on my MK43 LMG on the weekend I lost the Hop up "presser". Email Airsoft Pro asking about purchasing a replacement and they have sent me 2 FOC and only paid for the postage. Great service!1 point

Ex-Forces Turned TV/Social Media Personalities

This was more or less my response to the guy at the game day... Once you've gone through all that, there surely is an aspect of having earned the right to make some extra money off of it (some ways more honorable than others). Could go and work for a private security firm doing CP and make a bit more of a living with your skill set, but if you're a family man you may not want to put yourself in immediate danger again so doing something like TV or things along those lines is definitely safer!1 point -

Theses are strange times, pretty much anybody can have 5 minutes of fame & claim to be a "celebrity" (& earn well at it ?),so I why should ex forces be any different. my only issue, if you can call it that, is in doing so they don't comprise the official secrets act, which we all signed, & the safety/security of other personnel & operations, which I don't believe has happened so far ?. on the flip side, no one has ever served & left the forces financially comfortable, to say the wages, for the time & effort (& risk) put in is poor would be an understatement, & many, for numerous reasons have endured extreme hardship in civvy street, with an almost non existent support system in place. lets be honest, the whole idea that you could give your life for your country but your family would have to find the money for your funeral is disgusting, a decent funeral is the very least that could be done for our fallen heroes. so if guys want to use their training & experiences to earn a few bob, good luck to them.1 point -

[civilian opinion] it's a tricky one, i do wonder that surely the people involved in the real sneaky stuff wouldn't necessarily want to go all that public about it, so i do occasionally wonder if the big personalities are maybe the ones who were less involved? sounds like i'm denigrating their achievements, for sure even gaining entry to some branches takes more cajones than your average joe can muster so respect is certainly due. on the flip side, if we don't know the stories and the people, then how do we remember them? and i'm sure tales of badassery probably helps the recruitment figures. and of course when folk get out they have a right like any other person to make a living, and writing a book or going on tv is as valid a job as any other. I have music on 24/7 so I would be spamming this chat with all sorts of music. I listen to all sorts of music from metal to classical and everything inbetween but I find myself often drawn to blues. Literally at this moment I am listening to my man Joe1 point
