So my silly expensive Japanese carry handle came today 😎 Love it! 🥰 But now I need to find a much more appropriate red-dot. Something smaller. Bloody more money! 😂

If money were no issue.. Edit: My TMC RAC headset just arrived this morning, but the box was crushed to hell and one of the retention clips that secure it to the arc rail is snapped. Pretty pissed off since it's obviously a used/returned unit and they sent me it anyway, can you get spares of this part anywhere or do I need to return the things? helmet would be finished now otherwise. aside from wanting a gopro hero black instead of this xiaomi yi action anyway, but better things to buy before that. Patrol Base do seem to get very mixed reviews. They are one of my local shops, though I do err on the side of caution. I've personally had mostly good experiences with them barring a faulty brand new G&G I got last year. My local site and a few players from there have a very low opinion of them though to put it politely and I've heard a few stories where they come off less than favourable. I'm a self employed mechanic running my own garage, so I certainly know what its like trying to please everyone, its impossible. And sometimes shit just happens with cars as it does with airsoft guns and most other things. I have heard enough negative stories about Patrol Base though to certainly advise caution if/when using them as it does seem they sometimes fob customers off and cut corners to say the least. Even shops and techs with glowing reviews will have the occasional customer who for whatever reason are dissatisfied, Patrol Base though have more than I'd be happy with we're it my business.

The comments on the YouTube video suggest the barrel issues may not be an isolated case .The shoddy service and sheer bullshiting that's gone on are all down to patrol base . The worrying thing is had the barrel assembly been tightened up I would have assumed the gun was in good order and not double checked the repair job with an independent tech. How many other "repair" jobs have had the same treatment?

Yes Roger , thanks for putting that up,I didn't have a clue how to do that👍 If the hop rubber had been changed like patrol base claim the tech could not have failed to see the state the barrel was in ,and it would have been a two minute job to tighten up the barrel . The hole in the hop rubber and the still loose barrel lead me to the conclusion that somebody couldn't be arsed to do their job and opted to bullshit the customer instead This ain't over

New helmet cover! And a fancy sticker because it's my first order! Not gonna lie I'm a bit excited about this. And yes I am well aware that I should get out more if a helmet cover gets me excited but it's a proper cover for a Team Wendy AND it's from Agilite!

I'm not a huge fan of Viper generally but the cheaper stuff is likely to be lower quality materials with a lower stitch count. The question YOU need to ask is "will it be fine for what I want?". If you can't justify the cost of the higher end kit, get the cheaper stuff but go into it with your eyes open.

I've also just been incredibly irresponsible, and just bought a Carry handle. (I'd like to blame @rocketdogbert in advance for being my enabler 😄 ) ...an expensive carry handle. I've wanted this certain Carry handle for my PDR-C ever since seeing a gun in the owners group on Facebook that belongs to a chap in Denmark called Danger Dan. This is his gun with it on: Looks amazing. Really suits the PDR and finishes it off a treat. So... £93 later (!!!) I should have one arriving on Tuesday. I've paid less than that for actual guns! 😕

Disco 3 is awesome. Electrics can be fun, and some of the maintenance is expensive(clutch and rear cam belt). I own 2 disco 3’s and they are definitely the best of both worlds, versatility of the defender, comfort of the Range Rover. Complimentary picture.

Thought I’d post how mine’s looking atm as I just stuck on a new stock. The only thing left is I want to swap my 14” outer for a 16” but nowhere seem to have stock, then I can call it done. I might stick an npas in later but probably won’t.

Not 'arf! If you could hear half the stuff I hear on a regular basis just following players or over hearing things while gearing up I don't think they could give out Darwin awards quick enough.
