  4. I think Initially I'll just go with basic maintenance & rubber replacement, and if my replica stands out in a bad way, then maybe this chamber & further fixes. I just remember being super excited about airsoft when I was young & pretty, and it turned out to be closer to, well money waste for the time, so I'll take it easy. Thanks for chambers recommendation, I'll go for this Lonex as Im able to find it in good price in my country, If ill have trouble with the stock one.

  5. I would put money on it that the X-ASR will shit itself with a motor that pulls any more amps than the stock one. Allegedly the X-ASR V2 has resolved the issue - at the expense of removing the reverse polarity protection that was present in the V1.

  10. Just thought this might be at least mildly amusing... While I am strongly against those annoying people (let's face, it mostly Gen. Zer's) blasting out tunes in the safezone, or perhaps even more egregiously during a game. Which songs would you score your day with and bonus points for describing the scene. No tryhards saying something cringeworthy like "Drowning Pool -Bodies" (unless you're describing how your old bones collapse when you get home 😆)

  11. Hi folks. My first post here and a beginner in AEG upgrades. I've purchased a Specna Arms Edge SA-E07-L and after a few game days I may potentially look at simple-ish ways to improve trigger response. I'm looking for the snappiest trigger and satisfying trigger I can find without getting too complex at this moment in time. I'm not extremely bothered about rate of fire (within reasonable limits). When I'm a little more confident in gun tech I will venture further into the weapon but for now, what motor will provide this while also not shredding my weapons internals? I've heard good things about the SHS high torque motor but how would this fair in my case? For reference; I'm in the UK and I believe the weapon ships with an M90 spring installed but I have purchased an M105 spring and will be testing that out with the quick change spring system. I also intend to use an 11.1v LIPO. I'm not an experienced airsoft tech so any information is helpful. Thank you. Edit: I do also have in my possesion an Ifrit 25k motor from a parts & spares G&G. How would this compare to the motor installed in my Specna and would it be compatible? This is a long shaft motor

  15. My personal view is that it doesn’t matter what clowns/party are in charge. They would all ban anything in order to get votes so political affiliation doesn’t matter. All these people want is to line their pockets at the expense of us. Apologies but I’m so disenfranchised with politics in this country. I can’t see it being better under labour or greens or anyone else for that matter.

  17. The description is hilarious. Absolutely an eye catcher, this hand gun is a stunner has never been on the filed has always sat in its box as a display piece she shoots far and has a naughty kick comes with extended detachable inner tube to add more accuracy with the suppressor Ignoring the truly appalling English, if it has "always sat in its box", how does the knuckle dragging twat know that "she" shoots far and has a naughty kick?

  22. SHS High Torque/M100 Spring/7.4V LiPo. Lasted one game day before the error LEDs went into christmas tree mode with gun stopping every half dozen shots. It was an Early Edge model though, with an early production X-ASR. But I wouldn't trust the V1s for reliability. At least they are plug'n'play meaning that V2 could be dropped-in easily.

  23. Hi The IFRIT is a fairly decent motor so defaintely worth trying that out. Most popular motor I sell is the XT 22TPA, then it's the SHS HT - from what I can tell they've reduced the speed by 15% making it more torquetastic which is a good thing. Battery wise is always a little more complicated. It's so hard to tell you exactly what to buy because there's so many variables involved. It's about experimenting little to see what works best.

  24. @pyromancer6 regarding the hop unit and maple leaf. Barrels have a tiny amount of deviation in dimensions around the window. Some barrels go into the hop unit a tiny bit further than others, not much at all but means that the bottom lip of the maple leaf bucking goes too far into the unit meaning it blocks the feeding tube of the hop unit. To test this assemble the barrel, unit and the bucking as you would and flip it over so the tube which makes contact with your magazine is pointing up. Drop a bb down it and see if it goes all the way into the unit. If it does then it's all good however if it gets stuck halfway use something to test the resistance to push the bb into the unit completely. If you feel any resistance at all you will need to shave the bottom lip of the bucking a tiny bit just to give more space for it to drop.

  25. Ahoy and welcome. Just about any aftermarket motor is going to be better than just about any stock one. The SHS is well regarded, as is the XT from AK2M4. Personally, I use Big Dragon M140 motors from AliExpress as I'm a cheapskate and chisel every penny. Dunno about the Ifrit, but it's easy enough chuck it in and see. Most long shaft motors will fit most AR grips and V2 gearboxes, although there's no real standard and you might find that it's tighter or looser or a slightly different length or needs the spade connectors crimped down or opened up or... Chuck it in and see, the only consideration is matching the +ve contact, which should be marked with a red post next to it, to the +ve wire, and then adjusting the motor height if necessary with the screw in the base plate - just go by the sound, you'll hear it screeching on either side of spot-on. You don't need any tools beyond a screwdriver, and ideally some needle nosed pliers to fit and remove the connectors and wiggle it out. 11.1V will help significantly, even with the stock motor, so again, try it and see. You already have have an X-ASR mosfet to protect the trigger contacts and prevent arcing. You might experience double-shots on semi (where the motor spins so fast that it completes another cycle even after the trigger trolley resets). Fitting the M105 might sort that, or it might not, and you might only see it with a meatier motor (or you might not). There's only one way to find out. Battery, spring and motor are pretty easy. If you do want to take it further, you're looking at a pre-cocking mosfet like a Perun AB++ which means some soldering (and you might as well replace all the wiring with thicker stuff while you're doing that), and/or short stroking, and/or fiddling with the gearing. Just be aware that you'll start spending more and more to chase smaller and smaller improvements. I find with a Big Dragon M140, 11.1V and a mosfet and decent wiring, that even a stock gearbox will cycle about as fast as my mags can feed.

  30. A quick look on Google shows the green party only have 83 candidates named as standing so they've got as much chance of winning as I've got at becoming the next Pope. Full disclosure, I could only find 1 website with the list so I can't be sure how accurate it is Edit because I posted before finishing. Alot of people will be put off voting green by their other policies such as increasing road fuel tax and cutting funding for road building

  31. There isn't a single mention of Airsoft on the labour website, nothing for firearm and a reference to tackling knife crime for gun. It's very hard to say, though I don't think there's real demand for banning the sport in the UK and seems widely known about, so if people wanted it banned/cancelled I'm sure there would be people calling for it.

    National Service

What I think is that volunteering has merits and should be encouraged. However, what I know is that Uniparty Blue has cut funding for the National Citizen Service by 2/3rds since 2019, and reportedly Sanook personally tried to scrap it entirely as chancellor. So what I conclude is that this is an unfunded, unplanned, entirely fantastical Hail Mary announcement by a man who doesn't mean a word of it, and whose wife is already picking out the curtains for their Malibu mansion. When James Dimly was rolled out to explain that this definitely compulsory probably unpaid indentured servitude would likely not have an element of compulsion, maybe, it became pure farce.

    Tell Us a Gag. Please!

So God was just about done with creating Adam and Eve. He called them over and said 'listen up you two,I've got a couple of design features left over. I've got the ability to pee standing up and'... Adam jumped in shouting ' Me,me. I want that,I want it'. God says ' ok Adam it's yours'. 'So Eve, that leaves you with the multiple orgasm feature '

My Specna EDGE 2.0 ak-105: Replaced the plastic handguards with Specna's wooden ones, shimmed them and the folding stock so it's all rock solid, used gorilla tape to keep the hopup center, yet to shim and relube the gearbox and buy a few upgrade parts and still haven't skirmished with it but I'm loving it so far.

  43. Update for 2024. Not recommended at all. Ordered one of the new VFC XM16E1 GBB rifles off them about 3 months ago, and only just received what is the wrong gun today..... The XM model was not available in the UK so i thought id give SWIT a try. Was massively cheaper than on UK sites (Yes i know imports would come) and they were running a discount sale on orders over a certain price, so i figured even with postage and potential imports it would be less than bought here, and might not even have a fee if lucky. I also ordered a handful of mags and was pleasantly surprised at the checkout to find that the sale was taking off 40 dollars from every single item in my basket, making each mag almost free. Great i thought, what could go wrong? Few days later, i get an email from them saying this was a website error and i was only entitled to a single 40 dollars off. Considering i had already paid, i asked if they would honor the price presented to me, but they only responded to that with an invoice for the rest, and that they would only send the gun, no mags if i didn't pay it. Annoying, but fair enough i thought, worth asking anyway. After this i had no update from them for about a month, when i emailed with no replay, so had to resort to messaging on FB, where they let me know, the gun was ready but they were still waiting on the mags to arrive. Few days after that i get the email that the gun is now shipped. Arrives in the UK a few days after that, but now has to go through customs.... Customs send me an invoice for a whopping £170 extra, then hear nothing from them for 2 months, apart from very unreliable UPS updates, and phone calls which went nowhere. Gun finally arrives today after all that hassle and time (Very beat up and ripped box, presumably by customs, but also no protection on it from Swit apart from the paper wrapping), only to open it and see that I've been sent the M16A1 not XM16E1, which i ordered..... Weirdly, the packaging clearly has "XM16E1" written on it in bold marker pen, so idk how they screwed that up, but I'm sure as heck not gonna send it back after the struggle it was to get here. You could say i won a little here as the M16 was about 50 dollars more then the XM, but i still would of preferred the XM. Fortunately i do have an AEG XM so its not the end of the world, but that's besides the point of their mess up. Will see what they have to say, but now I've tried it, i never want to order from outside the UK again. Its just not worth the potential problems, wait times, lack of proper communication and support, inability to easily send an item back, and in the end, I've paid more or less the same as i would for this from a UK site..... Lesson learned, and i would suggest the same for anyone considering it. Maybe i was really unlucky, but i still wouldn't risk it now. XM model clearly written on the packaging, while the M16 clearly inside.

  44. I've commented on this before but never underestimate "but dad I wanna" as a force. I know that Combat South have previously sold a 2toned Systema. From what I was told the dad couldn't gove a flying fuck about what airsoft was but wanted jr to have "teh bestest" cos otherwise it'd reflect negatively on him or something.

  45. The only party I am aware of that has something that might affect us is the Green Party. It's pretty light on substance and doesn't mention our existing defence for Airsoft. But they may just make us turn our RIFs into IFs.
