just bought today G&G CM16 Entry level ( im sure someone will have something to say about that !? ) still looks good , FPS is well above the AK12 , ROF is great compared to the AK12 , im very happy with it, at least it will give me more of a fighting chance, and just to clarify . I dont and wont hide all/ever game only when its required ! i will be right up the front taking my hits and dishing them out! hopefully i will see some of you one day you never know ? it would be great to put faces to names and all that. 2. It makes me laugh when people advertise anything as 'brand new but only used once' soon as you buy something, it's no longer brand new but 2nd hand

  3. Most of the time yes. Ive replied to a few over the years and when asking for a defence to purchase they either dissapear or sling a load of abuse at you.

    Advice on two tones

There aren't any VCRA compliant colours which can be even slightly dark, even blue is technically a no-no but lots of manufacturers and retailers get away with it. Just cover your gun up with removable camo tape before a skirmish and take it off afterwards, camo or sniper tape is a non-permanent modification, making it legal under the VCRA.

  5. so looking back through some of the comments. I've been thinking. My main style of play is assault rifle and get stuck in there but have been thinking maybe to try a bit of sniper rifle something a little different from my usual style of play !!!!

  6. So, the cost of patches, lets assume a fiver per patch: 2 shoulders, front, back, hat/helemet = £25 which someone can still completely ignore. for a fiver more you can change your name by deedpoll to 'oiyou *keep your last name*' and it;ll be right every time + it will be usable in everyday life. I tend to find people whom you have never met before aren't that offended if you ask their name or just get their attention by throwing a stick at them and THEN asking their name.

    Newbs first loadout!

High quality mesh is perfectly fine and thousands of people use it without issue; have been for years and years. If you skimp on the most important bit of your loadout and opt for super cheap eye pro you roll the dice on your eyesight, simple as. Whether it's really cheap mesh or really cheap plastic, if the quality is extremely low there's a good chance shots could get through (from any muzzle energy gun at any range).

  8. Mods feel free to close/remove There was a thread like this on another forum (Now closed) were we would scour the airsoft forums of the UK looking for dreamers asking outrageous prices for secondhand goods. Id rather this didnt turn into a sh*t slinging thread just a general laugh at how crazy some peoples prices are. I know myself and monty are usually on Z1 disliking the crazy prices already so if youve found some we have missed post away. Try and use the format below, Ill start Cyma Glock 18 AEP - £70 plus postage and paypal fees!!!!!!! http://forums.zeroin.co.uk/showthread.php?257805-CYMA-Glock-18c-desert-tan-%A370&p=1385858#post1385858 Brand spanking new = £32.79 http://www.taiwangun.com/en/cm-030-tan-cm?from=listing&campaign-id=19

    Upgrades

this is incredibly generic first and foremost you need to establish internal or external 1)internal mods are the ones you cannot see that effects how your weapon works 2)external mods affect how you interface with your weapon, ergonomics and cosmetics Then comes role :- 1)assault 2)support 3)sniper 4)other Then comes method of delivery :- 1)electric 2)gas 3)spring 4)HPA (though you could argue that it comes under gas) then finally comes weapon type 1)pistol 2)rifle 3)LMG 4)other so whats the best upgrade of them all ...... knowledge go play a few games, have fun try a few play styles ... see what floats your boat EDIT:- the way i treat mods is :- 1)try the gun, identify its strengths and weaknesses 2)form a plan as to what is most important to you (i always choose ergonomics first, no point being uncomfortable etc, then user friendly etc) 3)research, see what can/cannot be done, see what others have done etc 4)consider buying the gun ... or alternatives etc for example, i knew every little issue i could find out before i bought my tippmann, i joined every face book group, read every review i could etc etc, now i have got everything i need now to sort its hop issue (its not bad atm, i just want to make it better), i just need to try/test/adjust etc as for the exterior, that's sorted with my own style rail covers, a foregrip, and a raised 556 sight. The best mods i have ever fitted are :- 1)better bb's!!! (eg. 0.2's are good, 0.25's are better ) 2)foregrip (relieves wrist pain) 3)holosight or any sight (much better then iron sights) 4)RIS covers (it protects you rails/gun)

If it's not broken, don't fix it. As Duck said, clean it, use proper BBs and you get the performance you can get from a gun.

Wasn't having a pop at you m8, you played wisely with your gun on your first outing Now you can get stuck in more, watch out for that spotty 12yr old though

    Gloves.

I love my Mechanic Fastfits, they give you so much dexterity and freedom of movement- hand hits hurt quite a bit but they're only occasional

    Gloves.

I use Wiley X CAG-1s. Picked them up on sale for about £20. RRP is £50 or so. Bloody good gloves. warm when you need them to be, but cool enough during summer

  14. This is not the same thing, this is people who "want GUN", rather than "want GUN:[make/model/condition]".

  15. More or less there and still over 2 and a half months to go. Can still fit some players in though if people want to play.

    Gloves.

Personally, I find finger hits hurt far worse than hits to any other part of the hand, but each to their own.

    Another new guy!

Welcome to the forum. Airsoft is great for meeting people. Ive met lots of people since I started playing a couple of years back. Its not necessary to run about and there is a good social scene once you get established. I discovered within a year or so that I prefer milsims to skirmishes and I belong to a group that plays three milsims a year around the M25 orbit with the option for other stuff in between.

  20. I vote surname on the basis people can't spell or pronounce my nickname even though it's just the word esoteric with a K on the end. It's not a bad idea though regardless of which you pick as most people don't like being addressed as "oi you"

  22. So had a game day yesterday to run my Tippmann and SMP at my usual site. Wasn't expecting much and had my Cba mind on. First game ok to long and a lot of standing waiting for something to happen or a lot walking. 2 1/2 hrs of that. Stopped for dinner. Afternoon game started in the smaller side of the site and what a game. Brilliantly setup, plenty of action, BBs flying, pyro going off here there and everywhere, Vatara was in play as well. Has defo made me think twice about quitting or not. More games like that as it was new and I'll defo be staying with the sport. Tried some Nuprol .28s in my SMP & Tippmann which were awesome, took a few top shots which I thought might be out of range but nope hands going up for a hit.
