What about a man bag or something? Slung over your shoulder just for carrying shit about.

Not the most practical thing ever but if you get the right sort of bag then it'd look proper apocalyptic, I'm sure there's a game or a film or something where someone uses one, got it pictured in my head but can't put a name to it to save my life.

It's not that Denzel Washington one is it?

This might work for you? - http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=8435

I know there are better makes out there but they are normally double the price

Might be worth a shout?

I like that, plus it looks less like a purse than some. I'd even thought claymore bag like this one

Yeah the above would work, apart from quick access to mags which the other 'should' give you, however, your loadout, your game style, your choice, your money!

Out of interest, how much is the claymore bag?

Yeah, I like that about the one you posted. That pic I put up I found on google, a traditional claymore bag without the side pockets goes for anything from a tenner upwards.

I like this in green but the Mrs reckons it looks like a purse. Still not as accesible for mags as the one you posted but quicker than a claymore bag or satchel because of the side and strap pockets.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Molle-Tactical-Bag-Shoulder-Strap-Bag-Pouch-Travel-Backpack-Camera-Military-Bag-/181296309745?pt=UK_SportingGoods_BackpacksRucksacks_Bags_EH&var=&hash=item2a361a25f1

Was about to suggest exactly the same. I think the fishing vest idea would be a good one too. Post apocalyptic means grabbing what you can find that suits the purpose, so any sort of shoulder bag for big items and a fishing vest would work. Jeans may not be the best thing though. Maybe cargo trousers or work trousers? Something baggy with lots of pockets.

Indiana Jones used an old British Army Gas mask bag with a leather strap. If it's man enough for Indy...

That's a bloody great idea. They're cheap as chips and they've got the exact look I'm after, plus- Indy! Cheers chaps :).

I've got some cargo trousers, I'll see if I can snag a gas mask bag and try both combinations of trousers. I always skirmish in jeans as I find them really comfortable and seeing as the sites I play at are indoors getting them wet isn't normally a concern. I also reckon if the zombies did arrive chances are I wouldn't be stopping to change out of my jeans lol. If it makes the whole ensemble look better though I'm open to change :D.

I read the description and it said leather strap sold separately. Sods, especially considering the word "leather" was even in the item description! I missed it anyway :(. I've spotted another on ebay so I'll be keeping tabs on that for the next couple of days :).

Coyote shirt and tan rig arrived (I know they don't match, that's the point ;) ) next up on the list is some CB or desert tigerstripe trousers, a CB scrim scarf and some tan gloves. They were out of stock when I ordered the scarf so it'll wait until I get the other stuff.
