Hey guys,

I have a TM P226 that i bought 2nd hand with a guarder metal kit on it, now i am thinking i need to put the plastic parts back on, what do you guys think? I fired it yesterday (lowest of say, 3 degrees!) and it would fire as if i only had a little bit of gas left,

shall i put my plastic kit on?

cheers

Heavy recoil springs and a metal slide are usually (gas efficiency wise) a very bad combination.

Personally, I would keep the frame, but replace the slide with a plastic one, or switch the guarder recoil spring for a stock TM spring.

Good luck.
