Little more specific? You've got quite a range in the forces ATM, majority of which you can't buy

I'm going to try and be brief here. Let's see how this goes:

Camouflage:

Try and find Multicam- it's unlikely that you will. In which case, you're best option is 'DDPM' or 'Desesrt Disruptive Pattern Material'.

http://www.surplusandadventure.com/shop/ar...ier-524819.html - There's some trousers -

Try and find yourself the Upper half, I'm not going to COMPLETELY spoonfeed you.

Chest Rig -

http://www.uktactical.com/acatalog/Warrior__R.I.C.A.S.html - Brilliant Rig, had one myself.

Weapon -

AEG - Airsoft Electic Gun

http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-...airsoft-gun-aeg - It's expensive, I know.

GBBR - Gas Blowback Rifle

http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs..._WE_L85_GBB.htm - also expensive, but f*cking AWESOME.

If you get the GBBR you'll need an N.P.A.S to bring the FPS down - http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...rts_RA_Tech_NPA

Boots - You can find a pair of desert boors yourself. I'd recommend LOWAS.

OK then. there you go. SIMPLE Loadout. If anyone wants to do something like this for bits for the weapon, go ahead.

My personal recommendation however: Systema PTW. <- don't do a British Rifleman Loadout, do an American one, the M4's are more customisable.

The we l85 isnt very good, stay away and use an ics

Recomending a ptw isn't a very good idea  they're for specific roles... and aren't great at that :P and if he says British I assume he means British :P

Use the kit posted above,

Get an ics l85, unless you want the more realistic ares. Madbull make the ris for it, and the other modern l85 parts are pretty easy to find

I would get the normal SA80 L85A2 not the carbine, then you can fit RIS rail to it :)

Also alot of the British Army SF use Glock or 1911's these day I believe I might be wrong tho. Even a M9 I think. SF pretty much get to have what ever gun they want, a rifleman will have ever a browning or glock I think.

Yes I am glock mad:)

SF uses Sig P226's, but I was fairly sure that standard infantry didn't have an issue sidearm.

Also we've now added an L128A1 to our ranks, for those who don't know it's the Benelli M4 combat shotgun... I know I'm going to get one :D

the Main British Infantry Sidearm is the Browning 9mm.

If you're going for an SF look, then it's the MP5A4 or a 203 (an m16 with a full 203 front end)that you'll be using - they're better than the L85 any day.

The SAS are normally issued with Sig Sauer P220 if they want something with a heavy punch, and aren't so bothered about concealment.

Or they'll be issued with the Sig Sauer P226 - A lesser Calibre means less of a punch, but much more effective in an urban environment.

As for the Glock 17 - these are only issued to Soldiers/Operatives who are working under A Section 5 license in the UK, as MI5 can therefore cover them under their deniability clauses.

It's not that close to real steel

SF mainly use the special forces weapon (sfw) also known as the l119a1 made by dieamaco/colt Canada. Imagine a heavy 16'' barreled armalite

The only way the m16is better than the l85 is weight, and that it can be used by lefties

I don't think we use a p220?

MP5A4? 203?

I don't think so, AFAIK we've never issued a M16, if it's been an Armalite it's the L119A1. We use the AG36 on it.

Maybe if you're going for an older SF look then an MP5 would fit in, but I'd have though a sliding stock varient would suit it better. Maybe that's just me.

Edit: Beaten to it by Marksman :)

We do use the P220, apparently. Sig produce a special SAS version, which is shortened to help concealment or so I'm told.

It's true though, let's be serious. In terms of accuracy, for the size you can't beat an l85 without touching the Aug or other bulpups, don't let me get started on reliability

It's also less likely to blow your head to pieces should you encounter water :P

Looks like firesupport anticipated your need for a British army weapon, good price and no tech work to do, :) All round

Hope this helps :D

Just get ddpm/dpm (you won't find multicam) and a Ricas or similar.

Then an l85- ics, with madbull dd ris, emags, elcan specter/acog/susat. Surefire Flashider. Ladder rail covers.

I would go for some thing like MTP Multi turrain pattern, and ebay is a good place to source stuff from..

why go for mtp? dpm still works better in our country and will be cheaper and its still a brit loadout.
