Some choice bits on there, nice. Be interested to see some more outdoor shots.

My bank account is hurting a little. I would've been getting better pictures of it and using it on Sunday...until the loading nozzle sheared. D'oh. Any other GBBR, and I could've just cannibalised another gun for the part, but no, it had to be the one I don't have a spare for.

My custom M4 CQB build with camo paint job: made out of various parts, internally mostly Lonex running 16:1 gears cranking out 30rps on a 11.1 lipo (pic taken on phone).

That's very unfortunate, how old was the gun/rounds fired?

Just over a year / ~10000 rounds, so I should've seen it coming really, I've discovered what the problem is though. The PTS PRS kit is supposed to come with a 2" Buffer Spacer, needless to say it didn't. I can't find one in the UK, so I'm going to borrow a M16A2 Buffer from one of my WOC's and see whether that will prevent the bolt from travelling too far back, which was the cause of the nozzle shearing I think. Please oh please let that solution work :P

The stock, despite all the install videos complaining about it being difficult, was a breeze to install. The rail tapers as it goes from the receiver to the muzzle, and it is SO light. Weighed it before installing it, and its just shy of 350g. To put that into perspective, the Madbull 12.5" DD Rail is 700g, and this new one is 2.5" longer o.O

newest addition to the armoury, really nice and shoots well all i think ill do is a battle axe stock and moe pistol grip, and maybe a rainer arms charging handle/ejection portIMG_1950_zps8724b163.jpgIMG_1952_zps7f12bd5c.jpgIMG_1954_zpsadb547d0.jpg

Krylon camo spray paint. Base coat of sand with partial areas of woodland over the top then with varying shades of green and brown sponged on. Trying to go for an ATACS FG kind of thing.

My 'polka dot' stencil arrived as well today; spray some black spots on parts of the furniture, yay or nay?

I would do a bit of black, just to reduced the blobiness of the brown a little

Or just go over the brown very lightly in tan again.

Ok, cool, just wanted some opinions on it :) will have to dig out the black spray paint once the brown's touch up coat has dried. Thank god it's hot today!

get some net and add a bit of a snakeskin effect in with the lighter brown you used, would help break up the stripeyness of it at the moment.

Sounds great however the rifle was sent to me having been sprayed in tan already, and I don't have a can of paint in that colour. I've got a 3/4 full can of black so I'll just add the dots to it.

I did a better job with the spots on the hidden side, however I quite like how it's turned out :D

SOCOM 3 of 3. Still a fair bit of stuff to change on this one but once the barrel's had some machine work it'll be pretty much there.
