Same reason we use a rofle that can only be fired right handed! - clear stupidity!

It works better the longer its fired so after about 150ish rounds its ok but We have it because

we needed a support weapon that was portable (more than the gpmg) and fired the 5.56mm as the lsw (l86) was sh*t, mag fed long and generally crap,

The Americans have their version which is better as the internal are slightly different too

we've had them for years and probably have some stupid contract for them for the next 40 years.

But they're belt fed and you can use a mag on them if you really need too but it ruins those too.

Good choice in an AR. I'd definitely run the setup from the second picture.

The photos themselves are quite well setup, try and get outside where possible, the quality of proper sunlight makes pictures look far better right away. Specially if you setup a nice clean background.

I'm just amazed you put that canadian type (DIS?) carry handle on there. That's true love.

Well she preferred iron sights and I wanted another C8 so made sense :)

It's gonna be going on my 'old school' 16" C8 once I've built that.

And yeh someone's buying it to have a go at getting it working, so I redid the paintwork :P

I finally bit the bullet and painted one of my rifles.

The M933 got a very basic paint job. Inspired (not a direct copy) of the M733 used by Delta sniper Gordon in Black Hawk Down.

Stage 1 - Thinking should i be doing this to a mint rifle? I used a highcap mag as a stand.

Stage 2. - Halfords Tan camo paint

Stage 3 - few hours later some brown was added.

I like how you took the forward assist out to keep some standard black in there. It looks good.

I think if I did it I'd be scared to spray it whilst it was still all together. But I guess you'd have to if you were going for a certain camo look.
