Hi All,

I am looking at purchasing my first gun and have a budget of up to about £300 and was looking at what i can get.

I first off was looking at the WE Katana Raptor, http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_WE_WE_Raptor_AEG_BK_Katana_System_M120_Red_Cylinder.htm but was advised against it as apparently the insides of the Katana system are not very cross compatible or easy to get ahold of.

My second choice was the

VFC VR16 EVO http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-m4-m15-m16-variants/vfc-vr16-evo-saber-carbine-qrs-proline-aeg-black.htm#.V-GHVq0qRwO

But couldnt find many reviews or details on peoples experience with VFC or this gun

Any advice or tales from experience would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Krytac... extend your budget to £400 for their MK2 range + battery and extras.

VFC guns are 'supposedly' over priced for what you get as far as performance is concerned, though they are top three in manufactures for external replication and realism.

I have had a look at the Krytak Mk2 Range, and i do like the look of Trident MK2 SPR.

Are the insides of the Tridents relatively easy to get a hold of and fit for replacements and upgrades?

Should be industry standard V2 AEG, and though fitted with a proprietary hop they are fully compatible in that regard too.
