the guys did a good job on Saturday from what I saw today.

Today was playtime and I think the site builders got a free game by way of a thank you.

The guys were buzzing after blowing the doors. It was about six LE in each team against about five Tango's played by directing staff,

It was fast, slick and brutal. Many of the players struggled a bit with the concept of when you shoot them in the head or core, they dont get up again.

We Were only using GBB and springer weapons (as that was the game theme for today).

Gunman had some springer pump actions for about £35 and they had an awesome range,

Great weekend, the guys (and girls) built a sniper tower, cleared some buildings out and put up some dividers in one of the buildings. I managed to make some more improvements in the safe zone including installing a smaller door which closes behind you to help keep the hurricane at bay...

The gas and spring day was great fun, and the vehicle ambush was awesome. Although I am somewhat bruised and battered after being forcibly dragged headfirst out of the 4x4 and across the concrete...

We've got loads of crew for this event now so it's going to be an awesome experience.

Tuddenham site is very good. In specific the tyre fort area, I remember once me and 2 others were trapped behind some boxes, trying to take out these snipers at the fort. Sat there thinking of a plan for 10 mins, and then just full on charged them, ahaha, brilliant..

ended up getting shot, and going back to respawn, bad plan but really was quite funny..

The site is always important of course, but you can do a lot with a site to enhance an event. The guys behind Okto Eight, Gunman Airsoft and their other game brands are great at adding multipliers to make the site just background scenery. This includes props, temporary fabrications, heavy weaponry, vehicles, civ-pop and lots of pyro. The site on a normal game day is not necessarily the same as you get on a special event. I guess this is why events are always a little dearer than ordinary skirmish walk on days.

Right, with our April Milsim executed and some very tired but happy customers, we are now turning our attention to the Milsim Taster Event on May 30th, the Bank Holiday Monday in exactly 5 weeks time.

We have eight places left.

its going to be held at Tuddenham, our site which is quite close to RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.

Its easy to get to as its connected by fast road from London and the M25 plus its not a million miles away from the midlands and the rest of East Anglia.

Everybody at Okto is looking forward to this as its a first for us to run this unique type of event.

This is a photo of the guys at Tuddenham this weekend just gone, giving you some idea about the site.

There are a lot more photos on our Okto Eight Milsim Facebook Page.

Not long now.

If you've never tried anything milsim, this is going to be a great experience in short, adrenalin fuelled bursts.

No losing sleep, no manning your post for hours on end with no action, no getting cold and wet laying in holes in the ground.

You and your comrades are going to be faced with four counter-terror situations which are linked in some way.

Imagine a combination of appearing in your own movie, airsoft and problem-solving.

No special equipment needed apart from normal airsofting kit (and a notepad for the briefings and set of bino's if you have them).

There's no hand raising or "hit" in this game. When you shoot these bad guys, they stay down.

Milsim Experience 30th May

Just over a week to go, to our one day milsim event at Tuddenham. Teams Alpha and Bravo are getting revved up to pit their wits against the unsuspecting terrorist cell.

We still have three places if anybody else wants to join in.

This is not just another airsoft shooting day - its a one off and will be something special.

£45 for the day.

Last Call.

We're getting ourselves ready.

We've still got three places left, but we have quite enough for the event (6 and 7 on the two teams). Its going to be awesome - we've not done anything like this before and its as close to a real CT operation as you can get with airsoft. Its been likened to Rainbow6 but its probably harder as you have to use your powers of observation as well as your shooting skills.

To a couple of the players who we know frequent this forum, we will see you at 0900 on Monday. Lets have fun !!

Bank Holiday Monday (Okto Milsim Taster) was a lot of fun.

Thanks to all players for turning up when they said they would (there are normally a few no-shows on pre-booked games).

The crew worked their socks off to give players a great and immersive experience.

Quite a few photographs were taken and these have been posted up on the Facebook group.

We will also put something on Airsoft Nation when that is back up again.

Thanks again for the support. We are now working on Op Serpents Nest which will be a weekend game at the same location on 23/24th July.
