Hi there,

I'm only 16 so my budgets fairly tight, anyways like you I'm going for the whole US ranger look. So far I have:

Viper tactical vest (3-c desert camo)

US army leg holster

US army helmet

ranger tactical gloves

Night urban trousers ( work surprisingly well)

And obviously my 2 guns glock 17 (KWA) and Kings arms M4A1 Carbine with aimpoint scope

Basically just focus on getting the tactical vest, gloves and camo pants if you're budget is tight. If not..... happy shopping!

Hope this was helpful lol

US uniform: try ebay, or here http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog...Olive_Drab.html

plate carrier and ammo pouches: http://www.taiwangun.com/tactical_equipmen...a_c_m-1101.html or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Black-Hawk-Down-...=item20b625868c (but get hammered for the customs duty on this and RM handling fee) or the vest for http://www.airsoftgames.com/viper-special-...lack-p-379.html which is pretty close and does hold m4 mags

goggles: Bolle ones off ebay are great, used them for a while and no issues and had sa fair few shots smack'em

http://sports.shop.ebay.co.uk/Hunting-/730...d=p3286.c0.m282 and are a good match

for the holster you want to be looking for viper ones in black, again ebay is your friend, same for gloves as pretty much any olive green glove should do.

Airsoft is a lot less pinicity than reenacting (doing that myself these days) and basically jeans and t shirt is fine. Some like to dress up and recreate "loadouts", but many are happy to turn up have fun and shoot bb's at each other.

I never like to give definate advice on the law, because I'm not a lawyer. However I'm pretty sure that your not allowed to spray a two tone gun even if you have a ukara license, it's called manufacture. Also I agree these rules are stupid, but they saved airsoft so I can't complain :)

Not a Lawyer either but know a bit about the rules and you are right in thinking that you can not spray your 2 tone, at all untill you have completed your UKARA membership.

As NE3MO correctly called it, it is refered to as manufacturing a Realistic Immitation Firearm (RIF) as you are changing its appearence from what they see as a toy to what could be misconstrued as a real weapon and get the carrier of such a weapon shot by the police.

If you really can't stand a 2 Tone. Hire a gun untill you are registered. or borrow from a registered person so long as it is at a registered site.

I don't know if you've bought your primary weapon yet, but the G&G GR16 R4 you posted is a great gun. I own one and it's fantastic, the blowback adds an extra touch of realism to it. I would really recommend it :)

I to have the G&G gr16, although mine is the cheaper full plastic version with blowback. despite the rifle being plastic it still performs very well. most people avoid blockback riffles as they found that the blowback on most rifles sheer the gears after time, but G&G have a patented new design for their blowbacks which have the blow back working on a separate system meaning that your blowback action will never damage your gun.

as for getting the gun i want in two tone, i dont mind, and i wont need to buy spare parts once i get my license as a little bit of sandpaper primer and base coat will easily fix a brightly colored receiver
