Trouble spreads east.

After Nato troops withdraw from Crimea due to a failed attempt at halting the advance of Russian Separatists , there are reports of a large number of Russian troops arriving in the border areas adjacent to the eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, Ukraine's industrial heartland after Nato forces completed successful mission on Russian separatist military weapons and munitions installations but failed on holding enough ground to execute a successful Exfil as the Separatists shot down the helicopter transporters which were sent to collect them on completion of their mission to drive Russian forces out of the area of the Separatist strong hold of FOB Alpha .

Satellite image shows helicopter debris littering a wide area near the village of Grabove
Ukraine insists Russian regular forces are involved in the fighting in Ukraine.

A build-up of Russian troops on the shared border after the Nato attack sparks concern that another annexation could take place.

Nato Special forces have fled industrial areas back to the town of Horlivka where they will be re-supplied with both munitions and manpower after the Russian forces overwhelmed the region with a far more superior force than what was originally thought.

Although the industrial areas in Kharkiv were retaken the following day, the realization to the Russian soldiers is one that has not gone down well as they now know that although they have greater numbers in the region the Nato forces have occupied the nearest weapons and munitions supplies within the region and are now being supported by the special forces support group who were para dropped into the region hours after the final phase of OP Vengeance failed.

Intel Update.

Nato Forces

The failure of securing a safe extraction during Op Vengeance has forced Nato forces to fall back to to a small town called Horlivca.

A tactical decision made by The Supreme Allied Commander Europe(SACEUR). With tensions in the area rising rapidly the Nato commander has told the Nato special forces on the ground to wait out for 24hrs due to an increased military air presence in the area before a newer and much safer extraction plan can be put into place.

During the exfil, Nato forces shot and injured two of the senior officers in charge (Colonel Yuri Mahoney) and (Lieutenant Colonel Sladen) and managed to exfil via two vehicles out of the local area with the prisoners which could be used as bargaining chips in the days to come.

Nato command have informed the team on the ground that an ammo re-supply is en-route to their location however the area is also the main production area of the specialist sniper munitions factory better known to the locals as Aksea Farm.

Mission Brief.

1. R.V with the ammo drop and re-supply.

2. Locate the munitions factory and set the charges to destry the relevant buildings.

3. Should the Pro separatists get a foot hold I the area and a new CP be put into operation retrieve the second case and laptop should the chance arise.

4. Retrieve any intel should the chance arise.

5. Hold on to the two prisoners at all costs.

Russian Forces.

Pro separatist leaders in the region are keen to follow the Nato forces in attempt to get back the Russian commander in charge of the local area and the specialist sniper rounds they retrieved from the forest CP area and to ensure nothing happens to the factory installations which are producing the specialist sniper rounds.

The local Separatist leaders have also placed a no fly zone over the local area by intensifying reconnaissance air missions to try and gain as much intelligence on the Naro operation as possible for 24hrs until the mission is complete.

Mission Brieif.

1. Retrieve the two senior officers.

2. Firstly by locating them.

3. Secondly calling in an a QRF vehicle for quick extraction as the two officers have serious injuries.

4. Retrieve the case which the Nato forces took from the Forest CP during their raid on the local area.

5. Retrieve any intel should the chance arise.

6. Locate the Nato forces and don’t allow them to Exfil the area.
