When you ask a question please do so using red writing that way, it's easy for people scrolling down to find a question.

When you answer a question, please quote (this will make sure the person gets a notification and they can click on it to open your answer straight away and it also lets people answer questions from a while ago if there have been new questions since then) the question and reply in blue writing so we know it's an answer.

If you feel a question simply cannot be answered in one brief post, or is open for a lot of debate, create a topic to discuss it, and link the topic in your answer so everyone can find it.

which you would have got by clicking on the "contact us" box on their website! ;-)

Thanks. I already looked there, but it doesn't show in my browser... I guess that's probably because I don't have a mail client. I never tried to right click the link - not tech savvy enough for that. :P

I watched Aliens at the weekend, so I now naturally want to buy a Snow Wolf M41a Pulse Rifle.

They seem to have two versions though which I cannot find the differences between. Looked high and low. They even have identical descriptions

One is more money, so.... better build quality..?

One is here:

The other here:

One is green, the other is not, I guess no one wants a tan one, can't recall a tan one in the franchise.

the actual screen used ones were painted in "brown bess" as that showed up in the film as the dark green we all know and love, go for the green if you want screen accurate, brown if you want what they actually made.

and I also think that the more expensive one had a better gearbox and cyclable UGL (not functional though)

I wouldn't use aluminium BBs as they can damage your inner barrel.

You might also be better off ordering these directly off Begadi by the way.

Fair enough then i will just buy geoffs lol i thought it would be cool but if it can ruin the gun not worth it.

It has a low FoV and doesn't state the eye relief (which usually means it's naff). I'd imagine the picture won't be the clearest too.

It's not a case of me knowing all the brands and rebrands and knowing what specifically to avoid, but you get what you pay for with tubular optics as a rule. The only people I ever see recommending cheapo ones are those who've never looked down something like a Visionking (who make - relatively speaking - very cheap, yet quite clear and robust optics).

Edit

Here: http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/visionking-3-9x40-rifle-scope-black-matte/387310777.html

Includes shipping, is variable between 3x to 9x, has a good FoV and good quality glass.

Edit 2

As an aside, I should say that - if it bothers you - a rifle scope on something like the G5 almost always looks a bit naff after a while. A lot of people go for the variable short dots that Visionking do as they're quite useful up close, have a clear, illuminated reticule and also go up to 5x for spotting. See here: http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/wholesale-visionking-1-25-5x26-rifle-scope/138138542.html

Is a 'tape switch/pressure switch' for a flashlight still able to be described as such if you can feel a row of microswitches and feel them clicking, and more importantly resisting pressure from your fingers? I had to press till I could feel pain in my finger tips to set it off, so I sent it back as there was no chance of using it delicately with my palm or w/e on a foregrip.

I have a G&G gc16 predator and have had it a few months now but never skirmished, I have noticed when i fist got it, it sounded very poppy when firing however now it sounds echoy and springy (it's hard to describe) is this normal? if not what could be the cause?
