Im looking for a nice urban set up but ive looked at m4 cqc/b and all i keep thinking is twin pistol with extended mags. (crazy i know) ive checked mp5k and i also like that idea i just dont want a rifle to deal with when climbing through windows etc even if it is cqb. i know pistols are impracticle due to constant reloading so i think id settle for a mp5k and a nice blow back pistol to deliver the good news with. what would you guys suggest as ive only ever had a SA80 to do urban manouvers in the force and there a big old clumsy weapon and not fun to deal with especialy when your on a hard knock for real (Scary Stuff)

IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS ????????????????????????????????????????

SA80 L22/AFV carbine...

I know you don't want a rifle, but what about a G36C?

Hear me out - remove the stock (as the battery doesn't go there) so you can have the advantage of a carbine barrle, but the ease of manouvrability of an SMG.

Or, an MP7. Not quite machine pistol, but too small to be an SMG. You can get AEG and GBB. It has the advantages of both SMGs and pistols.

All I can suggest is, look around various online stores and see if anything grabs your eye. Only you know really what kinds of weapons you like - then ask people if they are any good.

If he bought the Cyma Glock 18, the hi-caps for those are 150 rounds irrc.

However, I remember that not only are they bulky, they're also pretty fragile.

The Magpul FPG is avalible from eliteshootingcentre.co.uk - but only works with a specific G17/18/19 GBB version. They have a conversion kit for about £270, or a complete FPG+glock+hi-cap for £340-ish.

Also, I see no-one has mentioned the G3 SAS. IRRC, its a slightly fictional gun (it'd be pretty pointless IRL) but, its very small, but very skirmishable. Especially for FISH.

ak beta spetz with folding stock, ak74su with folding stock both available around £100 second hand or £120-150 new. the newer china versions may need a spring downgrade as they push out around 400fps, but with the downgrade they will last for years. Twin it with an Ak chest pouch for 3-6 mags for about £15 and you are offski.

new ak74su:

new beta spetz if you can find them in stock

or a ak krinkov (with the 250rnd small hicap, not this beast of a mag!

or a dboys KAC PDW is supposed to be a good gun as well

CYMA glocks are great little performers, only kick out around 220FPS (my local site doesnt even bother chronoing mine anymore :P)

really good hop up unit. standard mag holds 27 rounds, high cap holds tripple that at a push.

G3 SAS can't exist IRL due to barrel length on anything firing a 7.62 round needing to be about 6 inches long as a minimum, otherwise you get unburnt explosives coming out of the end, giving HUGE recoil, noise, flash and innacuracy.

HHHHHMMMMMMMM after much deliberation i think i like the SMG MP5A2 SEALS. If i find one reasonably priced second hand ill take it but it must be ICS and in good condtn if not it will have to be a brand spanker (wife will be pleased). extended mags X3 and a glock blow back just to make sure i can still bring the rain in those reload moments.
