So I really need a good web-tex or tac vest, Im looking for one will small pockets for my sniper mag, grenades etc & rest large for water, ammo.

I want one with minimum assault rifle mag pouches because of course I dont need them.

The only decent one I've found is: http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/54/Clo...SAULT-VEST-CAMO

But its out of stock & will be for some time.

You could use what I use, a Molle belt with various different pouches on it.

It's light, very comfortable and you can change the pouches to whatever you need.

Here's what I use (starting on the front left, going round the back, and ending on the right side):

(left side, front) 2x 40mm grenade pouch (perfect for fitting Well L96 mags in)

(left side) 1x double pistol pouch (two speed loaders - one for sniper ammo, one for pistol ammo)

(far left of the back part) 1x blank firing grenade pouch (for extra ammo in a bag, Allen keys, etc.) going to get another one of these for a smoke grenade

(far right of the back part) 1x radio pouch (for radio)

(right side) 1x double pistol mag pouch (two pistol magazines)

(right side, front) 1x pistol holster (for pistol)

I can change really easily if I decide to use my M16 - the two L96 mag pouches come off and a quad M4/M16 pouch goes in their place.

It's very off topic here, but I've replied in one of the other posts you asked me in. Find that one.

Might not be helpful but found a site with that vest that is in stock but for £36

Or perhaps you might like this?

thanks for the help but i've just looked at the website & every vest is sold out?

EDIT: correction, everything is sold out

you could go for a belt loadout instead of a vest i.e. mag pouch, butt pouch, drop pouch and a canteen pouch easy. As for a vest a miltec vest (i think that's the name) are quite good

The vest you've linked to is a standard South African style one and they are common as muck on eBay, both new and 2nd hand, in DPM, black and just about any other pattern/colour you may want.

If you read this before tomorrow pm, here is one that ends @17:04 currently no bids, min bid £8 B.I.N £20 (too much imo) £8 P&P (also too much, but ok if you get the vest for no more than £12).

Here's a seller that does new ones in loads of colours/patterns for £32.99 inc. P&P.

Not quite sure a SAAV will meet your requirements if you're after lots of small pouches for bolt gun mags, it's really not designed for that.

Not to detract from Ian trying to help, just putting that out there.

the site I go to only allows snipers to have 2 mags, theres 2 small pockets.

The rest of the large/medium ones will be great for all my handgun ammo (semi & full auto G18) & my 100rd handgun mags. Grenades, tools, spare equipment

What site's that? You have FFZ in your sites list, and I'm pretty certain they allow more than 2 mags, considering I use 3.

Actually I agree, mate. I wouldn't wear a vest at all for sniping, I'd go with Liam's and Craig's belt suggestions, or something like this (the same company do a few different types).

Actually Liam, FFZ told me that snipers can only carry 2 mags as well - and no CO2 pistols!

I have tried a belt set-up & I didnt feel comfortable, Im going with a vest because of a few other snipers I talked to who use one & its helped me make my mind up.

And Liam if you go on FFZ website, where it tells you the fps limit it says snipers may only carry 2 standard mags

Oh, fair enough. +1 to me for reading rules etc. carefully..

It's not like I sit there firing as fast as I can, so three mags won't make a difference to two..

honestly I dont think they care, I've noticed a few times them asking people with semi-automatic snipers how many mags they have but never bolts

Yeah, because with a semi-auto, you can really spam the trigger and put a whole mag down range in just a short amount of time.

For a BASR, it's about 4-5 seconds between shots. Also, AEGs tend to hold more ammo in midcaps (30-150) than BASRs do (20-30).

Might be worth viewing some of Scoutthedoggies videos on YouTube for airsoft snipers and see what kid of vest/rigs they're using to get a few more ideas. Also see dru918 for his sniper loadout as he's been doing it for a while.

I'd have to say that it all depends on what your comfortable with in terms of a sniper loadout, but I would imagine that you'd want to carry as little as possible really. Have you also considered a Molle drop leg platform for mag storage? Just a thought......

You know you just said on the last page that you didn't want a belt setup because you found them uncomfortable right?

There's absolutely loads of options for MOLLE belts and harness/suspender rigs out there you can combine, you probably won't get quality kit in the UK for 20 euros though. Here's a big stack of good examples to have a browse through:
