    I know it's never been an option with original TM MWS Magazines, but given that there are now things like the Guns Modify, SAA and T8 Pmags for the MWS, is it plausible to fit the internals from one of those aftermarket magazines into an Emag shell?

    Decided I want a Spiritus Systems Microfight MK4...

    Can't decide between CB, Grey, Black or RG.

    All of the pouches and other LBE I own are CB.

    I'm leaning into Black because I'm getting rid of all my mil kit and starting to wear hiking / low vis gear. Black goes with everything (I'm primarily going to wear black and grey or black and OD) and it's one of the approved colours for OPFOR gear at stirling.

    RG looks so good though... and Green is an approved opfor gear colour too at stirling. Then there's also the appeal of sticking with CB...

    Booked on for the 12th of November game at Area 66. Will be my first game since well before the pandemic! Also ordered some prescription inserts for my goggles since I'm old and blind now... Will be interesting to see the difference and if I actually needed glasses sooner or if I was genuinely fogging up.

      Hey Rogerborg - Username rings a bell! Maybe from trawling through the forums whilst I've been inactive :) I'll be sitting the games out for a while yet till everything dies downs. Track and Trace have asked me to self isolate after visiting a restaurant so now I'm back to being extra cautious. Sods law I stay in the house since March and Only go shopping once a week... First time out thats me "at risk".

      Surplus is thin on the ground, sadly.

    Gents, having some trouble sourcing parts for my CA 249. Need a lower front rail and Heat guard but nowhere has them in stock. Any suggestions on stores that will special order/source them? Zero one have said they don't work with CA and RDX tactical have had no luck so far ...

      G&P, A&K and TOP external parts will fit also. The G&P parts tend to be a bit nicer.

      Strange. Their homepage comes up with an advertisement for their host "parallels" and says I'm seeing this page because the page I was looking for no longer exists

    Are any of these US parcel forwarding companies like BongoUS which give you a U.S. postal address to get stuff sent to then charge you to forward it to you legit? Got a feeling my stuff may just end up stolen but a lot of US surplus stores won't ship internationally

      Used to use Aramex (Shopandship, specifically) a lot. It was quite good for forwarding and they cove a lot of countries. Thing is, I think they don't allow guns or gun parts. Surplus should be fine though.

      @jedi - it's some rather large bulky items like a set of webbing I'm after , so I'm worried about the shipping ended up costing more than the items if they decide to use the U.S. postal service, @ I'll bring some 550 cord to the next game , tenner for 20 lashes, fill your boots lol. @ proff thanks for the tip mate I'll check the, out

    What Milsim providers are there beside Warzone, tier 1 and Sterling? They're the kind of thing I'm after but I'd rather something woodland instead of FIBUA sites everyone seems to be using

      Gunman does a range of 'filmsim' games. These include vietnam, WW2, Cold war and modern. I have done a couple of the WW2 ones and they have been excellent fun. I wouldn't really compare them to milsim, but definitely a step up from an open day.

      Okto 8 is very much a social event with two 8 hour games in between. I would not recommended it as a hard core Milsim but I would still recommend going as it is something different and on the whole the players are great.

      Airbounre typically only play one day as a Milsim event followed by a skirmish the following day but that isnt always the case sometimes it just the one day.

    Saw two absolute plonkers on Herbet road, SE london yesterday. Both unfortunately fellow airsofters. One guy walking around with dumppouch, thigh rig etc all still attached in his BDU bottoms and a t Shirt with Sun glasses thinking he was Rambo, not even 100m from where a Boy was stabbed to death yesterday and Police were still on High alert searching for the weapon. Other plonker was waiting for him in his car in full gear. Walking around in your gear doesn't make you look cool, it makes...

      Dont get me started. Have (Well, HAD) a friend once who started to get into it and bought one of those pre-built £30 tac-vests, and wore it in his car for "Work" when 2 officers came down along the street and questioned him and thought he was undercover!
