  1. Not too fussed about extra mag capacity I don't mind reloading with speed loaders, adds a bit of excitement to CQB scenarios and makes you limit ammo, I do love HPA though for the consistency, and adjustability. Whatever pistol I get it'll be the standard mag with a HPA valve stuffed in the bottom So far then, I'm looking at TM glocks (always loved glocks anyway), HI-Cappa and I've always had my eye on the Mk23 - though I'm tempted to get a TM glock or hi cappa and then get the ASG version of the mk23 and upgrade it at a later date, dunno if anyone has any thoughts on that?
  2. Brilliant haha! I've had some shockers in my time and although I'm kinda handy with part installation etc. I'm hardly a "gun tech", I.E, not good enough to polish turds sadly.
  3. Right then this might cause a bit of a stir.... I searched "best pistol" and didn't find anything conclusive on the first page so here we go! I've been out of the game for a few years, looking to get a new pistol and intend to HPA the mag for CQB use, although if it's good enough for a woodland sidearm for engagements too close for sniping then great... What's the best pistol out there these days? When I stopped playing it was either a TM glock, or the MK23. I'm not afraid of buying aftermarket parts and "upgrading", I'm also not particularly limited on budget (lucky me, I know!), so please include any extras you recommend. Personally, as long as range and accuracy are good enough for CQB then reliability is also a big factor for me. Obviously better range and accuracy is always welcome though. I'm interested in your feedback! TIA, Cal.
  4. I haven't played in a while, but I didn't delete my FB page. Nice try
  5. Legend, thanks it's on the way haha
  6. Thanks for this input - can you point me in the direction of a filter which would work with that unit?
  7. Thanks a lot, I've checked out those links and I still think a pump is a good option for me. I do have fill stations relatively nearby, which is the go-to option, but at that price, a pump would be a great backup option, and at least good enough to fill my tank a little for garden testing.
  8. I've been out of the game for a while, and I know I need to get my tank & reg tested, which I will do. I'm aware that there are hand pumps capable of reaching the bar/psi required for a HPA RIF setup but I always thought of them as mega expensive.... I found this on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/4500Psi-Pressure-3-Stage-Filling-Warranty/dp/B082W8WZ29/ref=asc_df_B082W8WZ29/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=406571268444&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5270647696550972882&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046387&hvtargid=pla-854206260146&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=84046346862&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=406571268444&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5270647696550972882&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046387&hvtargid=pla-854206260146 Would this suit a HPA setup? I don't mind if the difference between this pump and a more expensive one is simply the number of pumps required to fill the tank.... Thanks in advance!
  9. Hi all, I bought my first house a couple of years ago and all of my free/weekend time has been spent on that ever since. I finally have a lovely man-shed complete with work bench which gives me an area to put all my RIFs back together as most are in pieces. As with anything these days though, I'm presuming 2 years out has put me behind the curve. Prior to this I was running a KC-02 with HPA adapter, "upgraded" inner barrel, rogueworx bolt and so on, absolute beauty but I'm sure it'll need some TLC to get back to it's former glory.... And when I'm feeling fruity I fall back on a V2 Krytac CQB m4 which will also need a good seeing to. As I was winding down from airsoft the ASG Evo was gaining popularity, I presume that's still a staple but what else has happened in the last 2 years which is worth looking into? TIA!
  10. I'd rather have a guy in a wheelchair watching my back who is mentally aware, than some of the 9 y/o kids I've played with who's awareness is NULL. With that said though, inclusiveness should not be solely focused on those who are physically disabled. I agree that making airsoft inclusive is more difficult than a lot of other activities, however the reasons you've mentioned almost come across like the idea of inclusiveness is to make an even playing field for those with disability. Unfortunately that would never be the case, for example, someone in a wheelchair is nearly always going to be at a disadvantage even on the most inclusive airsoft site. That might make them a less proficient player than the average able bodied person... Does that mean that sites shouldn't do their best to encourage them to come along and play? Absolutely not. Turning up and playing airsoft, in my opinion, has absolutely nothing to do with your ability to win, it's about getting away from screens and the monotony of every day life and going outside to have fun with your mates! At the end of the day we're grown men holding toy guns, if someone else (able bodied or otherwise) can enjoy that as much as I do, I say game on!
  11. maybe overkill was the wrong choice of phrase. If he's hit and moving to a safe spot, someone else on the enemy team may think he's still in-game and shoot him again, this could happen as many times as there are enemy players.
  12. just checked out the video @Rogerborg added of the fella in the wheelchair, that's awesome!!! The sport should be as inclusive as possible and all parties involved (players, site owners, retailers and manufacturers) should all do their best to make it so. One thing I'd say about the wheelchair guy is that a "red dead" piece of cloth or flag in his pocket might do him some favours - that way when he's hit he can drape that round his shoulders and move away (as it takes both his hands to move the chair in a straight line) - then he won't get overkilled by people thinking he's still in-game.
  13. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

Can split sale but looking to sell as a package. Pistols come with 3x mags (2 gas tight 1 leaking, just needs a new O-Ring - will do that before selling for an extra £5 if required). Reluctantly I'm selling these two beautiful pistols. They are WE G19 G-Series pistols with TM Monster Hop and precision inner barrels. Both pistols are in great working condition and have been cleaned regularly (will clean and lube again before sale if required). Can include original packaging for both. Looking for £180 for both with 2 mags in original packaging Or £220 for both pistols, 3 mags, custom carry case, both original boxes, 1x Nuprol retention holster (lefty), 1x Nuprol retention holster (righty).

  14. I have a Krytac CRB (which has been upgraded - not out of choice, a few things broke on it so I put some high quality parts in there) I also have a KJW KC-02 (this is also sold under a re-brand as an ASG STC - or Special Teams Carbine) I can tell you FOR SURE that the best value out of both of them is the KC02. Don't get me wrong the Krytac is an amazing AEG but it's just not as satisfying to use as the KC02. IMO - here are some of the top qualities of the KJW KC-02/ASG STC: They have a shed load of room for upgrades, despite being great out of the box. They have a wonderful community such as FB pages etc. which explain a load on how to take them apart, how they work etc. - this makes them a great GBBR option for beginners who are willing to learn. They're cheap (enough) They're light They're durable They're accurate, and have great effective range. They fit a lot of M4 externals, such as pistol grips or butt stocks, but they are actually modeled on the ruger 10/22, which means that most 10/22 real steel stocks and parts fit! They're incredibly versatile, you can use green gas, C02 or HPA to operate. If someone said "you have 1 shot to hit this object from xyz meters away for £1million" - I'd be picking up my KC02.
  15. A light facing down your trouser leg!? I suppose it's alright if you need a place to store a light or an optic etc. but still it's bloody weird!
  16. I can beat that - I got a real steel XDM compact holster which has a weaver rail on it! Who the hell needs a weaver rail on a holster!?
  17. I think it's worth pointing out that the paint job on that rifle has probably seen 15 game days since I got it and not a single problem - as i said, this was a VERY WET day, and the paint has worn away only where my also INCREDIBLY WET glove was rubbing against the keymod rail. Taking nothing away from the quality of Chris' work, I can't imagine anyone else could have done a better job.
  18. Hi Chris, Just letting you know: You did a custom job on a Krytac CRB for me a few months ago and it's great - I played a VERY WET game in the rain last week though and some of the paint job flaked away where my glove was holding the RIS. This isn't a complaint as such because it makes it look good IMO being a bit worn - however, I've sprayed a layer of clear lacquer over the remaining paint and it seems to have sealed it in much better, so if anyone else experiences the same problem, just do that.
  19. Sent some Krytac parts off for a fairly straight-forward paint job, really excited to get them back and will post results when I've re-assembled the rifle. VERY impressed with the other stuff you've done!
  20. I spoke with a few people about this, "Soon" isn't soon enough for my personal desires
  21. A mate of mine just got an SPR and it's AMAZING. I'm going to order either an SPR or a CRB today... if there's no difference in the internals etc. and the CRB is just a bit shorter, I'll get that. Unless one of you lovely people can persuade me otherwise.....?
  22. If that's around your budget, then G&G M4s and Cyma AKs are your friend in my experience. I'm guessing you don't have UKARA, and so purchasing from shops like TiwanGun is a no go...?
